“I ordered a white maxi dress for my prom dress in order to save hundreds of dollars on a prom dress from a typical prom store and this one that I found was perfect! It only came one day later than the expected date or arrival which was fine and the quality of the dress is amazing. The dress was $34 CAD and I got 20% off which gave me a grand total of $27 plus shipping on a prom dress that I could have otherwise spent $300 on. This store is perfect for any occasion and quality is great!”
“Terrible. Spent £180 on an order. After getting home one day I check and it says my parcel is delievered. No one was in my home to receive a order so I checked with my neighbours and my local shop. I also checked my post box to ensure there was no "we missed you card" but no, my parcel was no where to be found and there was no calling card. I went to phone boohoo only then realised that they do not have a customer service contact number, everything is done through email. This meant that it takes around 24-48hours for them to reply to each email. This means my problem still is not solved because each time they ask me a question, it takes 24-48 hours to respond to my email! This is the slowest system ever and is not fair when I spent a lot of money and expected my items to have arrived. I was told that Hermes left my parcel in a 'safe location' this is nonsense.. boohoo please sort out your customer service!”

I have had several e-mails from them asking colour of my street door, post box, knocker or doorbell ? The list goes on and on .
The top was about £10 ! Its verging on a joke. I have never known such bad customer service !!!”
“Items were tiny and one had a sleeve totally torn off! I ordered size 14s as I'm a 12, but everything was labelled size 8 when it turned up.
Returned the items and the warehouse now claims it's lost both parcels, even though Australia post tracking says they were collected a month ago.
Looking at other reviews, now realise that I fell for a scam. Boohoo is nothing but a scam operation selling cheap junk and ripping customers off with returns. Horrible.”
“I purchase two dresses from Boohoo and I changed my mind and sent the dresses back. Well it's been well over a month and no refund. The company doesn't have a phone so I had to email them. I explained that I haven't received my refund. In the email they sent me back said they haven't received my items yet, well it wasn't until I told them I have a tracking number and it says it was delivered. That's when I received another email saying they are going to return my money. So if I hadn't emailed them they would have kept my merchandise and money. I will never shop there again.”

“I have ordered quite a few things from Boohoo and have never been disappointed till recently.
I ordered a contour kit which arrived in terrible condition and beyond useable.
When I contacted Boohoo all seemed fine until I was told by Vikki that I would have to return this item (at my own cost according to their returns policy) in order to get a refund as the item was no longer in stock - funny since the Boohoo website still has it listed as in stock.
I find this absolutely appalling as my postage to SA would cost me more than the damn product and for what? Why should I have to pay for an item that was given to me damaged and in a terrible condition?

You either email them which takes up two days for a response or you need to tweet them! The amount of time wasted on waiting for replies.
The partner courier company Hermes is just as bad - attempting to make deliveries but not really.
My package is now "return to sender" who knows how long it'll take to get it.
Never buying from boohoo again and am advising my friends to stay away”

“Not happy with returns policy, it states free returns on the site, but if you don't have a printer to print off the label then you have to pay for post office returns, as well as paying for delivery. Makes a cheap made garment work out dearer, won't be using again”

Who knows how long it will take ? Moreover, if you want to get in touch with someone there is no phone number so by the time they respond to your email you don't need the product anymore. “Ordered a maternity dress for an event in 2 weeks time. A month and a half later still no sign of the dress. Contacted boohoo number of times requesting a refund and though they admitted the delivery van broke down hence I had never received the order, they also told me in 5 different emails that I am not getting a refund until the order is returned to them. Tried contacting the delivery company, the tracker number is not recognised. Losing all hope of getting my money back”
“If there were negative stars I would award Boohoo.com that. They don't even have a contact phone number. My last email requesting my FULL refund has been ignored. Their policy is to refund postage when the mistake is theirs. On this occasion, which is my first and last order, I ordered size 10. Their size guide indicated it would be a certain measurement. When I received it, it was 10 inches bigger, so not a size 10 and a fault on their part. I was explicitly told I wouldn't be refunded postage owing to ordering the wrong size. They should try to advertise honestly- that they are completely incompetent would be a good place to start.”

“I ordered almost a week before I needed the products to allow enough time to make returns if needed. I did not expect to have to make returns mulitiple times. My product arrived with a huge rip in it which I sent back. The replacement was a different different product which I now have to return as well. I do not have to keep returning things that I didn't order or are faulty. I have spent hours sitting by the phone waiting for a reply from customer services. My first email was completely ignored, so I used Facebook to get in touch. They claim they will usually reply within an hour, I have been waiting for 2 hours for a reply, after having received previous replies 3 hours after I sent my messages. I can't spend a third day waiting in for a delievery that may or may not be faulty or incorrect. I was a regular customer at Boohoo.com, despite having numerous problems like this in the past. I will not be ordering from them again. Not worth the time and effort.”
“Pretty happy with my order from boohoo.com. I knew there was a risk when i ordered as everyone here states its a scam.However i was pleasantly surprised by how fast, pretty and good quality the items were. I ordered a boyfriend style cardigan in grey and it was perfect! The material was itchier than i imagined but it was £12 so i didnt expect anything more.. I bought contour crayons that are easy to use and very good quality for £7. I also bought a highlighter for £3 and its my favourite one yet! Creamy but also not overly shiny like eye shadow. “I ordered three items. One of the items was the wrong color [ordered a white top - I received a grey top]. Liked one of the items and did not like the fabric of the third item.
I Fed Ex back the two garments and request refund of the Fed Ex shipping.
I paid for the items via credit card and they are not willing to credit back my card. They are requesting my bank account info. I even told them to use the refund for the items currently in my shopping cart to make the refund easier. To no avail.”
