“In the few short weeks it's changed my life in so many wonderful ways that I didn't even think was possible. With that being said I do wish that the doctor was a little bit more in touch about the treatment progress.”
“I've had anxiety and depression medications my whole life. It's pretty much been a hassle to switch meds or try anything new so I just dealt with it for years. Within a couple of months here those barriers have been broken down and I've been feeling the best I have in years.”
“I was having a hard time, like many others, taking the first step to seek help. It felt like walking to a hospital on a broken foot. You know you neee to, but it is very difficult. That's where brightside came in. Was so easy to get started and felt good to have someone listen and try to help. I highly recommend Brightside to be that first step. Good luck with your journey and I hope that your struggles soon end.”
“You've been great, honestly I have to do more work, you have the tools, but its kind of a catch 22 - it's hard to do the work when I'm depressed. But things are improving, Patrick”
“Brightside has been so convenient for me. Not having a vehicle makes it difficult for me to get to appointments so tele-medicine has been a life saver. Marie Caro actually listened to my symptoms, took note of my past medications and prescribed me with an option that just so happened to finally suppress the depression I thought I was going to suffer through for the rest of my life. I thought years of going to my psychiatrist and being prescribed the same medications over and over and feeling hopeless was going to be it. It is a little pricey for the monthly subscription in my opinion which is the only reason I did not give it five stars. I wish they would charge per video appt and the medication copays rather than paying monthly. If you only video chat with your doctor once in a month, it seems like too much. But, thank you, Brightside, for giving me hope again.”
“It's obviously never going to be the exact same as an in-person appointment, but for me, it's working perfectly. I can easily get the meds I need, and the checkups help me reflect on how I've been feeling lately, which is especially helpful nowadays.”
“I have tried multiple medications but haven't felt much better as of yet. It appears only 1 type of medication is prescribed and I'm not sure if it is a fit for me or what I need. I'm trying to give the process a chance.”
“Being able to talk to a doctor to get a prescription for my mental health is/amazing. I feel like the doctor I have been assigned has been very responsive with her replies/information/feedback.
The therapy-side, I ended up cancelling on. It really just felt like an online workbook, with a cheerleader on the sideline, encouraging me to fill it out. When I had questions about the assignment, I wasn't given a response that actually answered my question or challenged me to think about it in a different way. The service just didn't hit home for me.”
“I am feeling much better mentally. I am a PhD student, so taking care of my mental health can fall behind. Brightside definitely helped get me in the best mindset.”
