“The practitioners are wonderful and caring. But I really have to say the App itself sucks. Too many glitches, can’t make appointments and takes DAYS to get a response back from customer service. I’ve had to wait up to 4 days before getting a response. I mean you’re in the business with mental health clients, you’d think there would be a sense of urgency to make sure we are actually getting the help we need. And not sitting and waiting for a glitch to get fixed before being able to see a practitioner.”
“Most of the providers on Brightside have little experience. It has also become clear that the providers don't have a commitment to the platform. In two cases, after just one appointment, the provider left the platform. This has been very disruptive.”

“I was having a hard time finding psychiatry coverage in NY and Brightside to be a godsend. I have been seen twice and though I missed the personal approach from my prior provider, I was happy to have medication management. I was recently charged by Brightside for just under $200. When I enrolled, I was under the impression my insurance covered all care done via the app. Out of pocket psychiatry is not in my budget at this time especially as I am an insured person. Therefore, I am incredibly let down by Brightside and would not recommend.”

“Seems to be a money grab. They didn't refill meds even though all the check ins were met and everything is going well. Not refilling meds that should not be discontinued suddenly and having a patient run out because they cannot get an appointment for several days due to the provider's schedule is a big negative.”
“Your billing and payment system is awful. I signed up with an understanding that my monthly bill would be one amount, and it turns out to be 5x that. Then, when I try to make a payment you can’t accept my method of payment. And the call center is useless.”
