Why do you just send blanket e-mails about price increases ? I repeatedly ask for someone to ring me to discuss them. You repeatedly tell me you have put a note for the future on my file. When we talk, we reach a satisfactory conclusion, but why is the discussion always customer lead ? Make a note ; it’s good to talk

Good. But when the local gas engineer called Bulb on Friday to report the problem Bulb insisted on a written gas safety report before they would attend. We duly sent a report and asked Bulb to confirm when someone would visit. There was no reply, which by then meant we had no gas for the whole weekend. I called again on Monday and the fault was resolved later that day. Even then it wasn’t straightforward as the engineer who attended did not know what sort of meter we had. Is there no central database? He didn’t have the right parts and so took 2 hours to do what we were told was a 10 minute job.

After a confusing start, Bulb seem to be responsive and so far their prices are competitive. Atuo bill generation would be useful but so far they have resolved issues with speed and seem polite and professional

Customer service has been extremely good. My only criticism is that my monthly direct debit is increased every month even if my usage does not increase. It will be interesting to see what happens October onwards.
