I was supposed to get a smart meter fitted which I haven’t had, no one has been in touch to say why not very impressed

Swapped over from BG price has gone up twice in 3 months so I’m on the fence tbh

Hi there, Thanks for leaving us a review. We’ve had to increase our prices because the cost of supplying energy has increased significantly. Wholesale costs are up by 29% since March, when we last changed our prices. A typical member will now see a slight increase in their billing, paying £1.33 more for their energy a week. Hi Tim, Thanks for leaving us a review. We’re sorry to put prices up for the second time this year, at a time that we know is difficult for lots of our members. Wholesale prices have increased to their highest levels since 2018 due to post-lockdown demand. This means that an average member will now see an increase in their billing of £1.33 per week. Not easy to view bills or changes to accounts, bill went up within 1 month of switching to Bulb from edf

Simple process to switch to Bulb. However, it was quite dissappointing to find they hiked the price by over 6 % in less than 3 months...

Chose Bulb from a price comparison site. As their tariffs are variable, the day after my contract started, I was notified the tariff was increasing. Since then there has been another increase. I'd have been no worse if I'd stayed with Eon

Quick and easy to re-join but the referral reward wasn't honoured as I'd been a customer in the previous 6 months. This policy was only made clear after I'd signed up.

Hey Julie, We’ve had to increase our prices because the cost of supplying energy has increased significantly. We don’t like increasing our prices, but because our tariff is low to reflect the true cost of energy, we have to change our prices when wholesale energy costs change. If this goes down again we'll pass these savings on to members! Disappointed 2 days after swapping over price of tariff was increased. Would have been nice to know before making the swap as it may have influenced my decision. Rest of the swap was seamless will stick with Bulb for now.

Unfortunately we have had two price increases since we joined bulb which was disappointing. The customer service is ok but sadly they also don’t do smart meters for economy 7 meters yet either 😞

Well, almost acceptable. Having just joined Bulb and having received almost immediately notification of a price rise I am having second thoughts as to whether I have done the right thing. It did have good reviews which is why I switched but I am not so sure now. Although advised to move again I'll wait and see. Sorry Bulb, I can understand if you don't use this review!

Needed to change from SSE due to unwarranted price increased but on joining Bulb got an immediate price increase followed by a threat to increase soon. OK so it's a variable rate and the price I will pay is still marginally less than SSE.

Happy to have greener energy but not really cheaper as promised. Had one price increase before I even began supply and another a month later. I know prices have gone up but really, don't sell something as cheaper than competitors when it's not. I'll stay with bulb for now anyway as its so much hassle to change.

Good customer service, phone app and smart meter. Price too expensive now and it's not just because of increases at a national level as they have increased daily rate and standing charge
