Had a voucher tried to convert to indoor skydiving couldn’t make use of discounted offer Tried to book hotel, Novotel Blackfriars, really looking forward to it booked Globe theatre to tie in with date 29 August when I wanted to go, converted my voucher but date not available despite being a Thursday two months ahead, they had not got buy a gift availability at hotel despite hotel not being full !!! Totally frustrated!

Hi Kim, Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. I'm sorry to hear you've had problems trying to book a date for your hotel stay. All the hotels that we work with do aim to accommodate as many Buyagift customer bookings as possible, but some hotels may be fully booked at certain times. The hotels do have a set number of room allocations for Buyagift vouchers and once this quota has been filled they may have to advise certain dates are fully booked. To minimise any disappointment this may cause, the hotels will always try to make extra rooms available where possible. In addition to this, Buyagift always aim to add information regarding limited availability to the product webpage and also to the My Voucher site. If you are unable to make a booking with any of the hotels of your choice on your preferred dates, you are always welcome to extend or exchange your voucher. Simply log into www.buyagift.com/myvoucher We apologise for any disappointment caused but hope the above information has been helpful.

I bought a meal for 2 deal from you for my sons birthday. I gave him the gift card and he went ahead and booked the restaurant in London, booked a hotel nearby, booked trains etc. He then got a message from the restaurant saying that they had cancelled his booking due to fraudulent behavior! At no point was I contacted by yourselves, the mess up was at your end as you had sent the wrong voucher out. Your customer service needs improvement. I shall use a different company from now on.

Item turned up never took them of the van as they were totally smashed the packaging for them item was diabolical no protection at all very disappointed

The voucher we purchased was not valid in many of the locations that it was advertised for (only 8 out of 21 advertised locations accept the voucher). Nearly a week later they are still advertising the voucher for use in places which have stopped accepting them.

Despite our best efforts, there are occasionally circumstances beyond our control that can lead to a voucher no longer being possible at specific locations given the length of time our vouchers are valid for. If none of the other locations are suitable, It's really easy to exchange your voucher! Just visit www.buyagift.com/myvoucher and once logged in click 'exchange my voucher' and you'll be able to browse all the experiences available to exchange to. You can search for a new experience by category or keyword/product code. I hope the above helps!

Online booking easy to use. Next day delivery not so good. 5 days after ordering, it still has not arrived. I wouldn’t use if you’re in a hurry!

Not good value for money in comparison to making the booking direct. Two night stay at Stradley Park Hotel in a standard double on Buy a Gift is £220. Buy direct is £170 and this includes dinner for two on the Thursday night that we are staying. For the £220 that the voucher cost if I had gone direct I would have had a superior spa double and dinner for two. My children bought the voucher and it was a significant sum of money for them, I don’t like to see them being ripped off.

The experiences we sell are aimed as gifts for recipients or for personal use but our site is not aimed at providing experiences for a cheaper price. We are constantly checking prices to ensure that we always offer our customers amazing value. The rates we agree with our partners are fixed and do not fluctuate based on seasonality or popularity. What we offer is a 10 month flexible voucher allowing the recipient of the gift to book their experience within this time-frame. Our prices reflect the prices we are charged by our supplier and we must add our own costing's on top of this such as our marketing costs. Although there may be some rare occasions when an individual supplier is offering a lower rate on a specific date, all our vouchers have additional benefits, such as unlimited free of charge exchanges that would not be provided when booking directly through our supplier. The gifts are not good value for money and are a significant premium on the price that you would pay direct with the hotel. 2 night stay at Stradley Park Hotel in a standard double on Buy a Gift is £220. Book direct is £170 and includes dinner for two on the Thursday evening. One night in the Hackness Grange is £209 on Buy a Gift and £165 bought direct. £200 was a significant gift from my children and Buy a Gift are not giving a good deal just a big mark up for themselves. I don’t like to be ripped off and certainly don’t want my children to be who thought it was a good gift.

I purchased the 2 night stay for £99. Yes, a bargain especially as I received an extra 20% off. Unfortunately when I visited the choices of hotels nearly all of them would not accept my voucher unless I paid a nightly supplement at the weekends and also, now, a nightly supplement from May-September. Not quite the bargain advertised! I have requested a refund of which has been issued, but not received as yet.

Still waiting for gift to arrive. Order placed on 28th April & it is now 11th May not a speedy service. It was going to be a birthday surprise for a friend but the Birthday is tomorrow & without a voucher to give it is a little late after the event! I paid £3.50 for Gift Pack + £1.99 Delivery & still no gift. Not impressed. Still waiting to receive

I paid for a guaranteed Saturday delivery for my father’s birthday. It didn't arrive and in fact still hasn’t arrived. When I called to find out where the delivery was I was initially put on hold and then cut off. I then spoke to a girl who could barely disguise her dislike for me/her job/who knows! I live in Hong Kong and as an expat we are reliant on services like this to actually work. Needless to say I won’t be a returning customer.

I bought a voucher for three courses and a drink at any of the following restaurants - zizzi, ask, bella italia. I went to Zizzi and tried to use the voucher, however was told it had already been redeemed. (I had already emailed buyagift and Zizzi before going to check this). As we were with two small children and to save embarrassment i purchased another voucher off buyagift - both vouchers were £30 on the website but with a discount code i got them for £20 each. I was then told by Zizzi that this voucher was also not going to be accepted. The manager sat on my phone for about half an hour tryign to sort it out but kept saying it is not valid at Zizzi (even though it clearly states that the taste of Italy voucher is valid at Prezzo, Bella Italia and Zizzi) I was so embarrassed and just wanted to get out of there, two young 5 years olds bored and messing around - was an absolute nightmare. In the end the manager said we have to pay £30. i explained that this is not fair and he could see that i had just paid £20 for the voucher as he watched me purchase it. Now buyagift are refusing to give me the refund. I've bought many vouchers from buyagift for many different things but now im too worried this will happen again. Its sneaky to let you buy a voucher off them and the restaurant declines it making you pay full price - bit of a scam.

We didn't get use of the facilities and we only had 1 25 min treatment after paying or 2x60 min treatments .

ordered a gift for my daughters 40th birthday over a week ago, it has STILL NOT arrived andwill not be here for her birthday tomorrow. disappointing, especially after paying additional costs for gift packaging. looks like I will have to print a copy out instead, HARDLY the same thing...
