“Overall a good company with all I need at competitive prices. I have difficulty with on-line ordering but the 'phone ordering is simple with very helpful and cheery staff. If they fixed their site with a more accurate search function they would be near perfect.”

“Polite and very informative quality of staff who talk to the customer and understand the needs with helpful advice without any pressure on the actual sale and its content. Contacting them by phone is also on the same lines, patient and polite throughout with full information about any order chasing from suppliers with constant contact over the order placement and delivery which you can change at any point in the order. Well worth the visit or phone call.”

“I have visited Calumet in Belfast on a number of occasions over the last couple of years. I have always found the staff there to be friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable, willing to answer any questions thrown at them. There is always a good amount of stock of everyday items such as paper and film. Calumet's own printing paper is of a very good quality, something I use regularly! The more expensive items, cameras and lenses, have not always been readily available, but can be ordered and delivered within a matter of days. The prices of cameras, lenses etc. is on a par with other photographic retail outlets and, although such items may be purchased cheaper from some mail order companies, I like the fact that you can get the feel of an item, as well as the personal attention by visiting the Calumet store.”

“From the day several decades ago that I made my first serious purchase, (a couple of Mamiya 645's and three lenses), through when I was spending hundreds of thousands of pounds as a Head of Photography in a university, I have always been given the impression that my custom was not important. Nothing has changed.”

“As a total amateur, you might think it would be a bit nerve wracking to go into a professional place like Calumet. but luckily at the Manchester branch, you immediately feel welcome and at ease. The advantage of Calumet is of course the same thing that you might find daunting...... the professionalism of the staff. The breadth of knowledge and patience shown is outstanding, I for one, have never felt belittled or out of place, even when standing in a queue with Pro sports snappers. Decent prices too Amanda”

“I purchased a Fujifilm XT1 with a kit lens and a 60mm macro taking advantage of the cash back offer from Fujifilm and also the bank holiday offer of a £100 Calumet voucher, which gave me an excellent deal on the purchase. I spoke to Emma, who was very knowledgeable and helpful when discussing the camera and the offer. Delivery was prompt and I am delighted with my purchase and the first class service, which I have come to expect from Calumet in Edinburgh.”

“I was delighted with the service I got at Calumet. I felt I was given great choices and advice, plus I was given the chance to try the product in the shop before I made my decision. “Amazing place, with very helpful staff who don't hesitate to assist a customer building a doomsday machine of a film rig on a budget for six hours straight. People who work here seem genuinely interested in what they do and in finding the best solution for their customers buying or hiring alike. My place of choice for film and photography equipment for years past and years to come. Colin, you're the man ;)”
