“Via Customer Services I reserved an EOS 70D for shop collection at the Wardour Street branch. The staff at Customer Services answered the phone promptly and volunteered their name which I think always conveys a good impression of accountability. There was a temporary mix up whereby the store thought I had paid 100% deposit whereas I was sure I had only committed 10% over the phone via credit card. The latter turned out to be true and the problem was courteously sorted out within 48 hours. I am happy to recommend Calumet as a dealer with whom to do business.”

“I really enjoyed attending Martin Norris's Stock Photography seminar at Calumet in Manchester last week. Martin was a great speaker, really helpful and very giving with his business knowledge and information. The staff and facilities at Calumet in Manchester where also very good and the customer service level was superb.”

“I recently purchased a used sigma lens. Te advise given in the shop was very good and the assistant helped me pick the correct lens for the job. I am so pleased with my purchase. However I feel duped on the price of the lens, the assistance assured me the price of the lens new would be £400 plu. The used lens was priced at £270 which appeared a very good price. When I went home I checked the price of the lens online for a new lens and was shocked to find new lens priced at £300. Whilst the service in the shop was very good I don't think I will be a return customer as I feel the assistant mislead me regarding the value for money the used lens was.”

“I had cause to return a faulty item and dealing with one particular operator at customer services was far from a pleasant experience. I found the individual concerned to be very casual in her manner and she came across that she couldn't really care less about me as a customer. I most certainly didn't feel valued at all and feel I was given misinformation and given the run around. Calls were not returned as promised and I was left feeling frustrated and angry that my query was not taken seriously. Having said that, my initial communication via email was replied to promptly and courteously. I must also add that the faulty item I returned was replaced reasonably quickly but not on the day I was told it would be delivered, another source of frustration. I have yet to try out the replacement item and hoping the are no problems this time.”

“This was about trading-in a camera body and battery pack against a new body and new pack. I don't normally write reviews... but the Calumet service was really exceptional. Totally professional. Highlights included: - prompt and polite response to my request for a valuation; - dealing with me at the Drummond St store even when I arrived 3 minutes before closing time; - dealing with my order when the new items I wanted were temporarily out of stock. I.e. holding the trade-in items as deposit and calling me when the new items arrived (a few days later - and ringing me the moment they arrived); - dealing efficiently with a timing problem - I had to travel unexpectedly and so they sourced the battery pack elsewhere and had it couriered round. Overall - a pleasure to do business with them. Really professional.”

“I ordered three items on August 20th, and they arrived a week later. Two of the items weren't in stock when I ordered them so I wasn't expecting to receive them all so soon. I'm very pleased with all three items.”

“I recently went into Calumet Manchester and purchased a wedding album. The album was really just what I was looking for. “My Lowe Pro camera bag was broken. It took Calumet several weeks to chase the manufacturer for a repair. The service was poor and the man in charge of repairs seemed reluctant to help. Eventually something was done when I asked to submit a complaint.”
