“General very good. However, slow response from "Customer Enquiries" following an approach to get some help on problems with "Logging In" - it needed a reminder - somewhat disappointing.”

“I phoned the Manchester store to check if they had any 135 film in, I was told on the phone that the stock would have to come in from another store and that if I ordered it into the Manchester store, I would still pay the delivery fee as if it was being delivered to my house. I decided to use the website to order and get it delivered to my house but found out upon ordering it could be delivered to the Manchester store free of charge for me to pick up. I ordered (on a mid week morning) and it arrived the next day for me to pick up which was very convenient, more so than a home delivery which I would've missed. In the store, the member of staff on the film counter was very slow to deal with me, at one point I almost thought I had turned invisible as he made no effort to acknowledge me and actually made a phone call while I stood in front of him, I had to attract his attention as he was walking away having waited several minutes. I believe this was the same member of staff which I spoke to the previous day on the phone who does not understand Calumets delivery policy. After I had received my film, I decided to take a look around and I encountered another member of staff who was very helpful. If I had only dealt with this member of staff, I expect this would've been a 5 star review.”

“WHAT A FANTASTIC DAY. Everything ran so smoothly from the moment we arrived, greeted by very friendly people and a very welcome coffee and croissants after travelling on the dreaded M25. All presenters were extremely good. Really enjoyed meeting Danny Green and David Norton. We are definitely going to look at Danny's workshops as we are wildlife photographers. May be labels on the food would help as we both picked something we were not too keen on, but this is not a criticism, as it was a lovely spread, fruits were very welcome. A HUGE THANK YOU TO EVERYBODY AT CANON AND CALUMET. Marie-Laure and Ian”

“What a day at Canon HQ. Once I had recovered from the journey being received by the reception staff was most pleasant and efficient. The food laid on during the day was exceptional. I enjoyed the lectures by the professional photographers, the movement from one activity to another was easy, and seeing the various pieces of equipment was very informative. The best activity during the day was taking shots of the 'Birds of Prey', what is even more precious is the number of shots that I considered as best for one of my ability. My thanks go to all the staff at Canon & Calumet for a really great time & experience.”

“Excellent service; price was unbeatable anywhere else! Delivery was extremely quick, and the product arrived packaged the best I've seen any electronic product. The Intuos 4 Pro is a fantastic bit of kit, and will surely aid me in producing quality results for my forthcoming briefs at Uni. Many thanks to Calumet Photographic and all the team! :)”

“Had a really great day at the Canon Experience on 24th July, with lots of very useful things happening during the day and very good presentations by all concerned, I learned lots of useful things. I missed the insect macro session as there were just too many people around wanting to try their hand with the kit, will make sure I get to do it next time if possible, please make sure is is part of the programme. Overall the day was exactly what one expects from a professional organisation like Canon and their associates. All I need to do is put the 1D-X on my Christmas list and hope somebody takes pity on me. The only issues that I can see need seriously improving are the microphone and projection system in the auditorium. Looking forward to the next event at Canon. Doug Reeve”

“Clive and I had a fantastic time yesterday at the Canon Experience in Reigate, Surrey. The speakers were excellent and we appreciated the friendliness and helpfulness of the Canon staff - as well as the other sponsors and everyone else who made the day so special. The venue and catering were first class. We were asked to give feedback, so we would like to request that microphones, a hearing loop and improved projection and/or screen be considered in the future. “Great day at Canon UK thought the presentation was first class also the food, would have liked more time with David in the afternoon learnt a great deal and have now got to put it into practise. Only down side was the ladies mobile going . look forward to the next one well done. Keith Green”

“Disappointed that the LowePro Pro Roller x300 AW supplied was not 2014 model as it did not have the inbuilt support stand as depicted on the LowePro website. Other than that quibble, the service and price were good.”

“I attended an 'Understanding DSLR Photography' class on Saturday 19th July 2014 at Calumet Photographic. It was very good. The tutor was very clear, patient and very organised. I learnt a lot from the 3 hour session!”

“Dear Calumet I ordered and paid for a neutral density filter, now well over a month ago, and though I understand that glass is difficult since the Japanese earthquake what is most troubling is finding out information about expected date of delivery. I have rung Calumets head office once and was promised a reply. None arrived! I have asked in the Bristol office and have rung Head office but no reasonable reply. They would not allow me to ring the firm direct. Irealise some firms are more difficult than others to negotiate with but is is not really acceptable. I have used Calumet for years and have found their service very acceptable except for this one item. Tony Gill”

“Canon Experience at Reigate, yesterday. First-rate day run with efficiency, friendliness and humour, in excellent facilities including the catering. An opportunity to learn from the Canon experts, the speakers and demonstrators. I enjoyed meeting and sharing experiences with fellow photographers who had come from far and wide to be there. Slight downside, David's and Danny's photographs unfortunately did not project well., which was a shame, but I have seen their excellent work. I look forward to attending another event. Thank you.
