“I purchased some Genesis Flash equipment from Calumet a few months back. The equipment is very good and I have been requesting a 1-2-1 instruction from Calumet for nearly 6 weeks now. I understand some folk have been on holiday and there has been a delay but I do feel that the customer service in this area sadly lacking.”

“The sales assistant at Calumet Wardour Street (London) was very helpful and gave me a comprehensive answer to my question about appropriate lenses to use with the camera I was buying. He even wrote an explanatory note which he gave to me for reference which was very useful. I would recommend purchasing from the store to anyone seeking some expertise about a product.”

“I paid £15.95 to have my film order delivered the next morning before 10.30 for a job the next day, and one of the 3 parcels never arrived, as was delivered by the driver to the wrong address. I alerted Calumet to this and had to chase this up over several days, as well as taking time out of my work that day to go and buy the missing films, and labouring over the phone to repeatedly state that, in spite of the driver's assurances, the parcel had not in fact been delivered to my house. Eventually got refunded for the film but not for the delivery charge as I had received part of my order, which is besides the point as missing some of my order meant I had to take time off work, when under time pressure, to compensate for this. Everything would have seemed more forgivable if dealt with more efficiently, keeping me informed of the progress without me having to phone back day after day, and if my delivery charge had been refunded as an apology for all the inconvenience caused, amongst other things.”

“Excellent well-informed service who offered sound advice and a great deal on a new Canon 6D and 24-105 lens. Very fair part exchange on my old camera body and two lenses made the deal even more appealing. Will certainly be using Calumet again.”

“Excellent service once again, I will never go anywhere else for my equipment.! It is all too easy these days to be lured into buying grey imports or from ebay sellers who we have never heard of and hope everything is ok (Especially with after sales service) but how refreshing it is to contact a store and get to speak to the same person who offers great advise without pushing lots of accessories to top up their sales figures for the day. I would also like to add that Ronnie from the Edinburgh store is the single most reason why I have spent in excess of £5k on equipment in the past 18 months with Calumet, can someone please give this guy a raise! “Thanks Calumet Belfast for the service provided following my recent purchase. The item I ordered was out of stock and I was told I would have to wait a number of weeks, which I was prepared to do. Once the item was received, Calumet phoned to inform me.”

“You can almost always get cheaper prices online than Calumet, but most of the online sites don't include cashback, warranties etc. It is also nice to have a store to walk into and try before you buy, which is worth the extra cost. All the staff were very friendly and knew what they were doing and knew what they were talking about.”

“I found the communication from Colin hayward london store manager first class and could not fault the service i recieved from him personally. But your delivery systems need looked at. And the incompetent employees need a little help understanding instructions. My camera went out for delivery from your warehouse and ended up at colins store instead of coming direct to me. Then it was sent out from thier store on the tuesday and it never turned up with me till the thursday, 1 week after its release, 1 of colins staff addressed it wrong thats why it took longer. Not good for customer satisfaction. I dont understand why your company cannot sent items out same day for next day delivery. As an example, 1 of your major competitors, Wex Photographic, has no problem with next day delivery with items ordered before 6pm. I think you need to look into this further. Unless your delivery system has a drastic improvement i will certainly think twice about using your company again if i need things fast. I will be telling other camera clubs and members about the poor delivery times and will not recommend your company to other members. Worst delivery shambles i have ever experienced for such a large company its a disgrace and who ever is in charge should be ashamed.”
