“Very efficient. Fast delivery during Christmas period. No problems at all. By contrast I ordered a sensor pen from Jessops and it took almost 2 weeks to arrive.... I know where to buy camera kit online now.”

“There's one thing you get with Calumet that you wouldn't get anywhere - a personal relationship. They care and they helped out with hire gear when a supplier wasn't able to provide kit on time. Excellent service.”

“I ordered a Memory Card from Calumet on November 11th, paying £52.99, including £7.99 for 'Standard Delivery' to Northern Ireland. On the 21st Nov, I received an email stating that the item was no longer in stock!!!! I replied the same day, requesting that Calumet supply the replacement item offered. I heard no more!!! When I phoned Calumet on the 25th - 14 days after the order was placed, I was informed that they had lost my order!!! When it was eventually found, I specifically asked that it be delivered via Royal Mail as I could not stay home for the delivery and the DPD offices are over 50 miles away. It was eventually dispatched on the 26th November - via DPD! It was delivered - in the bin!!!!!!!!!!! Appalling service!!!”

“if there is a problem, like i receive a copy of the invoice ... but i cannot read it there seems to be a problem getting a response i have tried on two occasions, with more than a year separating them, to get my online account to be the same as my regular account .. something that seems beyond the ability of calumet ... which is quite frankly shocking in what it reveals about the company”

“Spent £8688 with Rajesh who provided fantastic service. Went to the store at Euston to be talked to like a complete idiot by a pair of 'staff' who were basically sales prevention humans. Very disappointing service and, had I not required the equipment there and then, I would have cancelled the order and taken my business elsewhere. Will not use again.”

“We have used Calumet many times and have been very satisfied - the last order being the exception. Only one small part of a big order arrived within 17 days. On chasing it up over a fortnight after original order was placed we were told that the consignment had been dispatched promptly but returned to the sender as FedEx said that they could not find the address (despite many previous deliveries). The second part of the order was not in stock and took over 2 weeks to dispatch (still not received). These things happen but on no occasion were we contacted either by phone or email to advise of delivery problems or back order delays. We will continue to use them as we appreciate the service in our local outlet and that the problem was primarily with FedEx - and their frankly pathetic excuse.”

“Calumet in Manchester are my local photo outlet and although there are other retailers in the area the service cannot be matched. Everything you may need is under one roof and what is not in stock can be ordered and be there in a matter of days. The staff in the Manchester branch are the best , polite and have a good knowledge of the products, couple this up with the seminars and the open days which are brilliant no need to go elsewhere. All in all - Staff rating 10 out of 10”

“Went in to edinburgh branch found staff very helpfull and freindly I picked a new tripod and head with no pressure what to buy and found it came with a free mono pod”
