The frame clamps are made of cheap, brittle plastic and are completely useless.

My order never turned up. When i called, i was told that it had been signed for by myself at 5pm, 2 days earlier. I had proof to say that i was not at home at the time, but i was made to feel like a thief by Calumet (as a company, not Adrian who was dealing). It took around a month before i received my camera, missing the chance to use it on a trip to Iceland (which is why i ordered it). I was not kept updated as to what was going on and only received a couple of phone calls. I called everyday for updates, but there was never any news.

Company sent two emails contradicting each other with delivery dates, contacted them by phone on the friday to be told that it was still in dispatch and to phone back Monday for more information, poor attitude to customer service did not attempt to resolve the issue, cancelled order and was supplied by wex photographic the next day.

There system for applying for fiance is very misleading it seem my account showed in process was told waiting for memory to me show I, when I emailed for a update which lead me to believe I was accepted i waited a few day to find it my order delivered which it had not, I went call the next working day to find my order now cancelled with no information why. no emails nothing.

I recently made a purchase and was waiting for ages for the product to be delivered, I had to contact customer services to find out to what was wrong....I was informed that I had produce Two forms of I.D. in order to the order to continue even though I had the money taken from my account. "However, we would have to ask that you send us a form of Photo ID and a Utility bill confirming yourself at the delivery address you have given us. Once we receive this we will be able to ship this out for delivery for you." I made the payment through Paypal and my address is sent with payment. I later rang Customer service who couldn't give me a proper explanation to why I had to give them photo ID in order to the delivery to be carried out. I found the whole ordeal to be an invasion of privacy and demanded my money back. I was then told it would take up to 3/4 working days. I further asked why it would take so long to get my money back....No reasonable answer was given....I informed Customer service that the initial transaction was through paypal and it should be done with immediate effect....it was sorted there and then. would I shop there again.......not a hope in hell

I ordered online on Tuesday evening. The website assured me the item was in stock and it would be delivered by the next working day so I reasonably assumed it be ok to be delivered by Thursday. I was then informed by email on Wednesday that the item wouldn't arrive until Friday which was no good to me as I needed the item for a job on Friday. I called but the person couldn't get it to me any earlier. I had to travel to the store in the centre of London to collect the item which took half a day of my time.

I ordered a second hand lens from your website in good faith. One day later I was told the product was discontinued (despite being a second hand item). I then had to wait two days for a refund.

There was only 1 Teather cable left so I bought it over the phone and on collection (the same day)they couldn't find it for 30mins and thought they sold it. I made me really stressed and late for a shoot. Staff were rude considering the situation. I will never use this shop again

For a "professional" service these guys do NOT have professional knowledge. Had a lens with backfocusing issue and had explain over and over what that means. As i wanting to use the lens on different nikon bodys that didn't all have af fine tune i return it. I wanted to try another copy of the same lens as it may have been better.(my other lenses don't have this issue.) but i was told the lens didn't have a fault and they would refund it! I never said there was a fault just a backfocus issue but no matter how many emails and phone calls no one seemed to understand :( Took them over a week to handle is matter. Also the protective packaging could've been much better.

Extremely unhelpful staff, very non-responsive. I tried to place an order for a Wacom Tablet to be delivered to an address where my friend was staying in London. The billing address is different from the delivery address, and upon requesting verification of the address, I responded immediately only for them to decide to "Flag" the order and after several attempts that cost international calls to get a hold of the staff. The staff at large were extremely unhelpful and didn't even offer to proceed even following the verification of address, full payment transfer and quick responses on my end, they just "felt" that they need to cancel the order and refund the payment. Went on to another supplier who proceeded with the order instantly without the unnecessary waste of time and hassle.

I bought second hand Canon TS-E 24mm L lens from London - Drummond Street brunch last week, unfortunately I was wrongly advice by a lady on the phone when I paid a deposit for the lens, I asked Indira, the girl on the phone, if the lens was the L II series but she told me there was one model only hence I paid and picked up the lens 15 days later once I was back in the UK. I just released there is a LII series of that lens but I’ll only be back again in the UK in May 2017. I wrote an email to the customer service asking if I could swap the lens that I bought for brand new LII series in May 2017 when I'll be back in the UK, Paul Jablonski from the customer service, said that even if he could listen at the call and proving Indira mistake, the only help he could provide me was receiving the lens back and selling me the brand new L II series with no shipping fees. I told him I was in Colombia and and the shipping fee would probably be to expensive but I never got a reply about it.

1. I bought and paid for a product I would have gotten cheaper elsewhere. 2. I bought from you because of your "reliability" 3. After payment was confirmed, I am ready to receive my product, I receive an email stating I should confirm that I am not fraudulent 4. I needed the product desperately so I sent the documents required, and called the help line 5. Product was still not delivered 6. Called next week, they "forgot" 7. Product was eventually delivered 8. I will NEVER shop with you guys EVER

After ordering a lens online I decided to pick up from calumet store on wardour street. The level of bad service was unbelievable. There were 2 men behind the counter, 1 was dealing with another customer the other was staring intently at a computer so I approached him and as I asked if he could help without even looking at me he pointed in the direction of the other guy, no manners and rude to say the least. Then the other guy who I was pointed to had such an attitude problem it was a joke. It's a shame as I'm much more likely to go wex photographic for products, possibly even JESSOPS!! And that's saying something. You need to send your staff to customer service lessons, no excuse.

Just about everything went wrong...I cannot believe I am even taking the time to write this but i am still so angry with the service I received at Calumet....I went into wardour st and was served by an extremely nice guy who told me about the lenses I was think about purchasing and when I had made a decision he said he didnt have it there but would have it sent over from euston the following day; the follwoing day no one called me when he said they would; I called and spoke to two different guys maybe 4 or 5 times - every time they said they would call em back to say why my lens wasnt there - they never did call...eventually they said the guy in warehouse at Euston had forgotten to put it on the transport; I was so annoyed with this continual stalling and lack of communication that I had to get a taxi from wardour with all my suitcases and equipment (I was shooting the next day) - wardour st had told me - Euston would give me a discount when I got there - they didnt; I was rush and flustered and very upset that I had to go over there AND pay for a cab for the privilege AND get no discount AND it was on my birthday too ....

You have a lovely manager Lesley at Manchester branch but some of your staff are abrubt and not helpful, I was looking for ink for my 3880 I purchased from you. I was not sure which code number ink I should get. I asked your staff and they told me that everything is on the shelf , what a horrible customer service then I found my ink after searching google which I shouldn't as I could have bought online but I wanted to come right your shop , there should be happy people working there
