Terrible. Received faulty product - frame doesn't fit together properly. Requested replacement.... After several weeks we've now established that I have to send back the faulty item for inspection before a new one can be despatched. Already sent photos which have been seen and accepted as proof as the problem, so why they can't despatch another and get the courier to collect the faulty goods at the same time I just don't know. Taken three weeks to get precisely nowhere.

I went to pick up something that I'd ordered on our account. 11.00 p.m. on a Wednesday, heavy rain, very few customers in the store - maybe five or six. I went to the counter, where there were four assistants. One was on the phone, one was looking for something under the counter, one was dealing with another customer, one was wandering around looking lost. I waited for four or five minutes whilst this pantomime continued - during that time not one of the assistants made eye contact with me, acknowledged my presence, or apologised for me having to wait. I was invisible. In the end, I had to introduce myself. " Hello" I said " I'm a paying customer and my company has an account here. How much longer do I have to wait for my presence to be acknowledged ? I may want to spend some money in your store ". I was greeted first with silence, then a begrudged apology from someone who seemed to be the head assistant, then made to feel bad for intruding upon their important business. After I'd finally got my order, I said I'd like to look at a particular lens. I was asked if I could wait as there were other customers being attended to. I was the only person at the counter at this point, so I don't know where the other important customers where. I walked out of the store, and you lost a potential sale on a £ 1200 lens. Guys, it's very simple. If you continue with customer service like this you're going to be belly up in the water within a year. And in case you think this is a grudge or fake review, I'm not going anonymous here. I'm afraid it was a disaster from start to finish. Did a credit check based on one payment system and was accepted on a different finance agreement. Had to do a second credit check. No communication from you regarding what was happening with my order, unless I called you. I did three times. I then received an email on Monday (07/03/2016) telling me my order had been cancelled and that could only happen if I did it myself(I hadn't) and would I like to reorder? Slightly bizarre to get that as the order was actually delivered earlier in the day. It was the wrong camera(ordered black, got sent silver). There was two plug sockets-both European and no British. The £50 worth of accessories weren't in the delivery either. I sent it back on Tuesday and know you received it back at 11.55am this morning(10/03/2016). I have had no notice from you that you have received it back so far. In fact my order is STILL showing as "in progress".

I ordered a Nikon 7200 camera body from Calumet's Birmngham store on Monday 22 February and asked to take the 24 month free interest payment option available at that time but also to collect the body from the Birmingham store because I didn't want it posting to me as I was going away on Sunday 28 February. The man I spoke to was very helpful and emailed me a link to the finance company's website and I filled in the application form. I heard nothing from the store for a few days so phoned the store on 25 February and spoke to a female member of staff who said she would check out the situation and she subsequently phoned to tell me that it appeared that my application paperwork hadn't been finalised. I checked and completed the documentation and was soon advised by the credit card company that my application had been approved and that they had emailed Calumet to say they could release the goods. I phoned Birmingham store and asked if I could collect the body and was told they were awaiting notification from head office. I then rang head office and they agreed to let Birmingham store know that they could release the camera. I phoned the store and they agreed that I could collect it that day (25/2) and I said I would be there later that day. Up until this time my experience was reasonably positive apart from me having to make a number of phone calls to speed matters up but when I arrived at the store around 5.00pm to collect the camera I met very poor customer service. The member of staff who served me, and who I had previously spoke to on the phone, seemed completely disinterested in the sale and didn't offer to open the box or discuss any accessories that I thought she might have wanted to interest me in. I did ask for advice on SD cards for the camera and whether to purchase high speed ones and neither she nor her colleague could summon up any enthusiasm to explain the benefits, if any, of different cards. My daughter who was with me, and for whom I was buying the camera, expressed amazement to me afterwards about the poor quality of the service which she found much worse than her usual supplier - Jessops in Birmingham. I myself have also received far better customer service at Jessops and at Harrison Cameras in Sheffield. I was totally disappointed by the service I received in the store, particularly as I have had excellent service in the past at this store from both the manager and from a male member of staff both of whom were excellent and from whom I bought a Fujifilm XE2 in 2015. Lastly, I received an email from Calumet last week to say that you were offering £50 off accessories when purchasing many cameras including the Nikon D7200 - this wasn't mentioned by the assistant in the store and I do wonder if I qualified for this offer? I didn't get to use this green screen on my shoot and had to hire one on the day. This is because apparently, next day delivery can take up to two days. In the end it took three days, with Calumet unable to give me a tracking number or contact the courier at 6pm on the day of scheduled delivery. At one point we were told that delivery had been taken by Christina - there is no Christina at our office – but was clearly mis-information anyway as the delivery arrived on Monday, when it was ordered in time for Thursday delivery for a Friday shoot. I'm so glad my review is important to you. It's a shame customer service isn't.

I did not recently make a purchase, I cancelled an order that I made back in November. I was told that the items were on back order at the time but did not expect to have to wait until now and still not be told when to expect the items.

On visiting your Edinburgh store, looking for a flashgun for my Canon camera, I was supplied with a product which was not compatable with my camera. Unfortunately I had disposed with the box it was in and when I returned the flashgun for a replacement they took 15% off the original because it was not boxed. This was the day after I purchased the gun on their recommendation. Not the best of service by a long shot.

Very disappointing break from normally good service. I made an enquiry to order some items and discussed the possibility of getting the items delivered the next day, since it was the only day when I'd be able to take delivery. At noon I was assured it would be no problem, so long as the order was made before 3pm - I finished the call by saying that I would reply to the email quote within the hour if I wished to proceed. At 12:45 I replied, asking to proceed with the order and confirmed the next day delivery request. Over the next two hours I phoned three times as I'd received no reply - each time whoever answered the phone could not find the salesman who I'd been dealing with, but a colleague told me each time that an urgent message would be sent to him and that he'd get straight back to me. Each time i explained the urgency of making the order by 3pm. On my fourth call, after a long wait, I was finally put through to the salesman who told me that it was too late to make the order for next day delivery. When I explained my disappointment at his failing to deal with my order he replied "Well, I've been busy dealing with other customers, what can I do?" I'm sure he had been busy, but it wasn't a good attitude. At the very least, there's clearly a problem with staff not communicating between each other and not being able to deal with anything other than the most recent customer. At the worst there appears to be a lack of respect for customers who are spending several thousand pounds with the company. I was eventually able to arrange delivery on a different day, but had to ask a favour of another company to accept delivery on my behalf and then I had to pay for a taxi to bring the items to where I was then working. I'm going to ask Calumet to refund the taxi cost.

I ordered a tripod and head, they took the money out of my account very quickly. No account updates, no emails, nothing for two weeks. Two weeks later I get an email saying my order is cancelled and money will be refunded to my account in the next few days. What happened to my rights with mail order, What happened with just plain talking to people. I wanted that tripod and head and they have had my money for two weeks and then just let me down. Ridiculously poor customer service.

I put an order in on 31 Dec 2015, the item was advertised for next day delivery. As this was over the New Year holidays I did not expect delivery until after the 6 Jan 2016. It has taken until the 12 Jan 2016 for delivery. The purchase was also delivered to the wrong address. All this was after 2 phone calls and an email to the suppliers, during one call I was informed that the item I had purchased was out of stock for several days, but no one informed me of this. Over all I am very disappointed with the hole service
