“Amazingly fast delivery of nearly all the equipment and lenses I've ordered from Calumet. My last order, a 50mm f/1.4 Nikon lens arrived the next day, not that unusual for Calumet. The only surprising lapse was an order for a 77mm UV filter which took well over a month to be fulfilled. Their Drummond Street shop in London is an Aladdin's cave which I used to visit when I worked around the corner in the Euston Tower. I have always found their staff to be knowledgeable and professional, and their prices competitive so I rarely buy new photographic equipment anywhere else.”

“Purchased bowens lights and found them to be substandard and kept overheating when not being even used, just switched on! I was informed by Calumet that "they were aware of the problem but were not prepared to do anything". After threatening with court I finally received a refund. I have used Calumet for many years because the Milton Keynes trade counter is very convenient. I will however be very unlikely to ever use them again.”

“Hi there. Shopping at calumet is great, as the staff are knowledgeable and talk to customers as professionals. On a few occasions, however, I've found the same product elsewhere significantly cheaper (the Sennheiser G3 unit comes to mind immediately), which is quite irritating if I've already bought it! Still, exceptional service, and very pleasant shopping experience.”

“I placed and received an order from outside Uk. Having a valid european VAT I am eligible for sales tax waiving (for purchases made between 2 european countries). However when I requested to have my invoice revised I was told that it would not be a problem as soon as show up in person in the store in order to fill up the paper work. Not worth the trouble to shop from abroad if afterward I am asked to come to the store.”

“Purchase made some time ago so not fresh in my mind. Easy to order online, good price, fast delivery. I ordered a tripod which is very sturdy and easy to use once you have tried it a few times. The central pole is sticking, however, so I may need to go along to my local shop for advice as it would be more hassle to send it back.”

“I haven't shopped online with Calumet, but find your Glasgow store to be excellent. All of the staff are first rate and extremely helpful. Tommy in particular is always very knowledgable about the products and willing to help out as much as he can.”
