“Great range of products and staff with a great knowledge of it. Always helpful and not pushy when it comes to offering advice. Unlike other camera retailers, it's not just about the sale. I sometimes pick their brains long before making a purchase and they're always willing and able to assist. Ideal support for someone who, like me, isn't a professional photographer but is keen on making the right purchases for what I need.”

“Staff knowledgable, friendly and helpful. Parking available at the store which is very helpful. Staff members supportive but I did not feel pressurised in any way. Have previously purchased items at this store and returned because of positive staff attitude. My initial impression of the store was that it was solely for professionals but once I was approached by staff I relaxed and found the product that suited my needs.”

“I found the sales assistant not to be as informed as I had hoped. He was friendly and co-operative but lacked knowledge in respect of my requirements. After I had made my purchases I then inquired about the new A3+ Epson Printer but again got very little information, in spite of the fact that there is a short article in your most recent publication about this particular printer. Quite disappointing really.”

“I popped in to see what accessories you stocked for the GoPro Hero 4 and ended up buying loads of bits I didn't need in your sale! Amazingly low prices and the guys that served me were very very helpful :) Calumet is always a great place to visit because the staff are always so friendly and helpful and nothing ever seems to be too much trouble for them!!”

“I always find the staff at the Bristol branch of Calumet to be very friendly, helpful and knowledgable. The store is quite compact but the available space is used to good effect. If on occasion they don't have what I require it is only a matter of days before it is delivered to the store for me to collect. It could be delivered to my home but as I am at work I prefer to collect in store. All in all Calumet meet all my requirements.”

“Beyond disappointing. When ordering they insisted taking the full payment up front saying the lens would be with me inside two weeks at the latest - I wanted to give a deposit. 3-4 months later no lens. I called 4 times over that period to get information and every time they said they needed to check with purchasing and then would phone me back. Each time they didn't bother. I have just cancelled the order and will never use them again. Not because I am angry. There are simply better, more professional alternatives that provide a better service. Oh and cheaper. I'd look elsewhere.”
