“I attended a studio lighting workshop with John Clements. The facilities ant your London branch were good. John is a leading expert in this field. He is concise and insisive and made a complicated subject easy to grasp with his step by step delivery. The course was very good value for money and I would recomend it.”

“Found item I wanted by Internet search. Calumet had a good price and the Google listing mentioned a free photo viewing lamp. However, this offer was not on the Calumet site when I opened it. After an exchange of phone calls, Calumet opted to honour the outdated offer. I collected the item from the Euston store. I had to wait a few minutes before the counter and noted how thoroughly customers were treated by knowledgeable staff. It's unusual not to be rushed through a sale these days; and it's very welcome.”

“Excellent service. Was going to buy a new version of the lens to save me a trip to Glasgow, but was persuaded to go and look at a used lens. The guy said it was as good as new, and he was right. Pointed out I could test it for any faults up to around two weeks, and gave reassurances about the guarantee.”

“I needed an album for the photos from a Diamond Wedding party. John was, as ever, very helpful and after some deliberation over a variety of books I was able to choose one that was 'just right'. Calumet never fails to give me excellent customer service and first class advice.”

“Calumet Birmingham: Very helpful on getting kit they don't stock in for me to look at. Though they do stock a vast range in the shop. Also very knowledgeable on the equipment they sell and assisting with equipment to try out. This is the sort of service you can't get from the internet or discount shops.”

“As ever I left making the purchase of a California Sun-Bounce for a job I was working on until the last minute. A quick call to Calumet assured me that the product would arrive before the job date. It did and I was able to use the product on the job. The Sun-Bounce has really exceeded my expectations. It was an outside, sunny location for a car company with people and cars, so I needed to get some serious light into the shots. The throw on the CSB is amazing and given it's sturdy but really light weight aluminum frame the CSB is easy for an assistant to hold for long periods just in the right position. I went for the mid-sized as I think the large might just have too much of a 'sail' effect in breezy conditions.”
