“Order W-00015829-UK The Item which i understood was not in stock and i would have to wait when i placed my order. I contacted yourselves with the following e-mail:Hello I placed an order for the following item item: Tamrac 5608 Pro 8 Camera Bag – Black, order number W-00015829-UK, Date of order 21/July/2014 I understood that the item was not in stock and orders were being taken, and contacted yourselves on 28/July/2014 by e-mail asking for an estimated date of delivery? I received the following reply on 28/July/2014 : Hi Kevin, Thank you for your order. The Tamrac 5608 Pro 8 Black Bag is due into stock at the beginning of next week. Kind regards Kim I checked the website to look at the status on Wednesday and it still sat at progressing? I contacted your customer service by phone and spoke to one of your representatives called Kelly, she took my details and rang me back in the afternoon to say it would be dispatched today Friday 8/August/2014? I have checked the status again and it is still sat at progressing? I have rang and have been told it is being picked and will be with me tomorrow? I am a bit disappointed in the service I have received from your company, I fully understood that I would have to wait as you were not holding stock, I am disappointed in the communication, if I were to be kept updated then I would of been more than happy, but when I have had to e-mail and ring to find out the status of the item then you have failed to inspire me as a customer. Hopefully I will receive my item tomorrow? being Saturday 9th August 2014. Never arrived. It did arrive on Monday 11th August 2014.”

“The assistant we had a Calumet Drummond Street went beyond the normal call of sales. He gave advice and guidance in a non-patronising manner, we felt very relaxed and un-rushed. Thanks”

“The attitude of staff in the Glasgow Branch has improved greatly in recent times. For the first time ever I was asked about my photographic interests and was told about an upcoming event relating to that interest. prices are still marginally above those of other online and High Street retailers, but good and informed service counts for more with me.”

“Best source for Epson printers and Epson and other papers in the Manchesterarea. I no longer use Canon cameras; I now use Olympus and Panasonic "Micro 4/3rds" cameras and lenses. It is very rare that I need a larger format. I think you are missing a large part of the market.”

“Thoroughly enjoyed my buying experience, quick clean an easy , although the paperwork could have been better as when i came to insure my purchase with my insurers it took a bit of two and frowing but between us we got there due to me buying a kit rather than body and a lens.”

“The only photographic supplier I could find that actually had in stock the new larger eyecup to fit the Fuji X-T1. Prompt delivery...but not to my house! Didn't leave me a delivery note to say he had left it with a neighbour (despite me being at home at the time of delivery). Calumet quickly sorted the problem for me by contacting the delivery company and supplying me the information to retrieve it. CLG-DESIGN”

“It's so valuable to get good advice from knowledgeable people in a relaxed environment. I was after a Canon lens and tried it out, went away, came back, tried it out again - I asked loads of questions and got the help I needed. The lens is fab and I'm very happy.”

“Bought a Nikon D610 from Birmingham Calumet recently. Went in twice as I decided to return a different model which I'd decided wasn't for me. Staff were very helpful and friendly on both occasions and spent the time to chat and answer my questions (I had quite a few). I was able to try out my lenses on the test body for the first camera. The only thing that would've improved the experience is the chance to trial a body for the second camera. I was led to understand they usually have one but it was out on rental at the time. I feel it would be useful to have a copy of each body which stays in the store at all times for trial use.”

“First time visit to Calumet and was greeted with nice friendly manager of store (Birmingham) who helped me choose the right rucksack after looking at several different options, there was nothing she couldn't do for me, very knowledgable of the products in store. Will definitely return in the future, I know we all buy online these days but to actually handle the products and see them in store is worth more to me and the price of my rucksack was competitive anyway.”

“I bought an Epson printer online when it arrived I could not get it to work properly most likely due to my incompetence. I phoned Calumet in Manchester and explained my problem the said bring it down and we will see what we can do, they could not have been more helpful after one cup of coffee they had sorted it and showed me the error of my ways. I cannot praise their staff enough nothing was to much trouble for them including the coffee. Mr R Taylor”

“I used Calumet's Try before you Buy on a Bowens 400rx studio flash kit. The service was excellent and I subsequently bought the kit. I wouldn't have been able to do this with any other supplier and I will definitely use Calumet again. The price was also better than any other supplier. Thumbs up from me!”
