“Our Company have been dealing with calumet for many years and I can honestly say the staff in the Belfast store are now the most efficient, helpful and informative group of employees I have came across in over thirty years. Special recommendation to Kelly and Angus. Due to their own customer relations I intend to remain a devoted customer due to the service I receive.”

“Friendly and experienced staff who do not push anything that they sell but have the knowledge to enable a customer decide on what is best for them in their occupation or hobby. Time is the customers no matter how long that takes and the staff stay on hand to answer questions or offer professional advice until the customer decides what they want or not as the case may be. Their service, attitude and knowledge blows the pants off a few other places I could mention.”

“After hearing about the Calumet reputation and being recommended by a friend to bring my camera for repair I was hopeful and excited about receiving a great service. Unfortunately I was utterly disappointed and deflated when it took over a month just to get a quote back on my repairs and even longer to have the actual repair finished. I would expect that Calumet should understand the importance of having a camera available at all times, but instead I was forced to pay a fortune in hire fees because of how slow the service was. I never thought I would wind up feeling like I should have gone elsewhere to have my camera repaired. The in-store staff were great and really helpful. It's just highly unfortunate (and unacceptable) that I had to make constant phone calls to check the progress of my quote, let alone getting the actual repair done!”

“I phoned my local store to inquire if the bank holiday offer on the Canon 70-300L lens was also available in store. My call was automatically diverted to a central number and I was told that the offer was only available on line. I asked if I would be able to trade in an old lens at the store and was told that this would be OK. I duly bought the lens on line and went to the store to collect it when it had arrived. The store salesman was surprised at this as he could have offered the same deal and the lens I collected came from his stock. Trade in was a problem as he didn't have a sale to take the trade in against. However after a lot of effort on his part I managed to do the trade in against a small item. So: on line OK, store very good, central phone support poor.”
