“I bought a 2004 Toyota Camry based on the Carfax report I viewed. The report showed that there was only one owner and he/she took the car regularly to a Toyota and had all the recommended factory service done right on time. I am thrilled with the reliability of this vehicle and will definitely use Carfax the next time I buy a used car.”

“Carfax saved me! I was going to see a car in Long Beach California with my 18-year-old son for him to purchase and though we did not end up getting the car we looked at, we drove another car, a 1996 Mazda Miata. The Miata drove very smoothly and it obviously had some very good engine work done as well as new tires; however, what the Carfax revealed was that the odometer have been rolled back by over 100,000 miles! Carfax saved us from purchasing a vehicle that was overvalued.”

“I was helping my brother look for a Lexus. We are a Toyota family. He was in the process of moving to Florida for his first adult job, and needed an adult car. He really wanted an IS250 he found. It just didn't feel right, so he asked for my assistance. The guy said it was a 2 owner, and it had never been in a wreck. FALSE! I ran the CarFax and it had actually been in 2 accidents, and he was the 4TH OWNER! I found a Lexus GS350 for the same price, and ran a Carfax on it as well. It came back clean with many available service records, and 2 previous owners. We got that one for him, and he left Texas in STYLE! Thanks CarFax!”

“Signed up for carfax for max months did one Vin and when wanted to do another Vin it asked for my credit card information again I am really disappointed I have two more cars to do carfax on one Vin I know and another next week . Extremely unhappy it is allowing me to log on but not run searchs”

“Been a long time since purchasing a used car and wanted to make sure I was prepared. Carfax not only helped me find my used truck but gave me the facts about it and a checklist on what to look for. It also helped in the negotiations on what the fair price should be. Overall from the start of looking for a truck from the history of owners to accident checks, to walking into the lot was a smooth transition Thank you!!”

“I was buying a VW Passat and CARFAX gave me a complete history of the vehicle with which I was confident enough to buy the car. Also, finding a car and buying happened so quickly, the smartchecklist is what happens to be my favourite which will remind of you the last minute items and everything falls in place if you have the CARFAX reports.”

“I was all set to purchase a 2000 Miata with around 33,000 miles but wanted to run a CarFax first. When I did, the report told me there was a lien against the vehicle. Instead, I bought a 2001 BMW Z3 when its CarFax report showed it was worth $1400 more than market value, based on mileage and maintenance records, and I bought it for less than market value! - Jim K.”

“I was looking for a vehicle to buy for my girlfriend as she was going to start college soon. She wanted a manual beetle, and it was my mission to buy her one. I bought 5 carfax and had them ready for every beetle I went to go see. I saw two and I didn't like them very much so I didn't even bother to check the carfax. I saw three other ones that I really liked. A black one, which I really liked, had a big accident, and I thought it was a little too expensive for the price so I didn't buy it. I saw another beetle that was lime green, and it looks really good, other than a few cosmetic problems. Another beetle I saw was red. And here's where carfax helped me. I checked the miles on it, and they were rolled back! Thanks to carfax I didn't buy a vehicle with over 200k miles! I ended buying the green one with 124k miles, and it runs amazing! Thanks carfax!”

“I was purchasing a 2000 Honda Accord in excellent condition that said it had 98,000 miles on it when I ran the carfax and it had three hundred and forty five thousand miles on it two years ago saved me a ton of money”

“Provides a thorough history of the vehicle and purchasing becomes easy with it. Your decision making is directly proportional to the carfax report. Although few things aren't granular, the existing information in the report is still of great importance for any buyer.”

“Shopping for a used car for my son, we found this '06 Acura RSX-s type and took a test drive. The seller said he was the original owner. With thought something was suspicious - so I researched it using CarFax the night before we were ready to buy. We found out the car had been bought and sold four times in the past nine years! CarFax saved us from this seller that was far from truthful! Thanks CarFax!!”

“My father was looking for a ford E350 box truck to buy. We found one for sold online by owner, when we went to see the truck it read that it only had 35,000 miles which is very odd for a 2002 box truck. Before my father made a deal to buy the truck I decided to spend the money and get the carfax. The cardiac review said the truck last odometer reading was 120,000 miles which means someone messed with the odometer. Thanks to carfax my father saved himself from a big loss. Thank you carfax!”

“By using CARFAX I was able to make the decision between two different cars I was looking at. My decision was based off of many aspects such as the number of owners, and how many miles were documented on each car. CARFAX made me feel so much more secure because I was able to see that neither of the cars had been in accidents and neither had any severe issues that would have caused concern. If I did not use CARFAX I would have been stuck with using my best judgment alone, which would have been a lot riskier. I enjoyed the comfort and reassurance that CARFAX provided me.”
