“It's a great service. Best option is the Unlimited CARFAX reports using license plates search which is around $55. You can only purchase this $55 package online, not throught the APP. I recommend that package because the $39 is only for one CARFAX only.”

“I bought my car back in January of 2012 the carfax showed my car was clean and no accidents were reported. 2 1/2 years later I want to sell my car but oh my the carfax no shows an accident on it 1 month before I bought my car (12/12/2011). The report even says the accident was reported on (07/04/2013) which means even if I bought my car 1 1/2 years later after this accident I would have gotten a good Carfax for a crashed car. Nice job now I cannot sell my vehicle because it has lost so much value, good job Carfax.”

“We were interested in the purchase of a used vehicle from a local dealer. The dealer provided us with an Auto Check report, which indicated no damage history. We decided to use the CarFax VIN scan capability for assurance and learned that the vehicle had been involved in a front end collision. We were so thankful that we had the CarFax resource to give us the full story!”

“If all info is true, how many owners , no accidents that's some of the details I was looking for. Last time I purchase a caxfax the info was not correct.. It showed no-accidents, but 2-mths later it showed an accident on the car I purchase.. So, carfax are not up to date at times when you purchase..”

“Car fax help me when I was undecided with purchasing a 2004 Acura tl. Acura indicated that it had less miles but when I checked with the inspection dates they did not match. Car had about 20000 miles more then it indicated”

“It was a Toyota T100 96' nice body shape with 123,000 miles on the odometer everything look good until I run the CARFAX warning me that the truck had a major rollback odometer of about 130,xxx miles with a last read of 257,000. So thankful for the CARFAX M.Sosa”

“I was going to buy a 2011 dodge charger that looked awesome with very low miles (17k) for an almost unbelievable price (14k) was told car had a clean carfax but I purchased a report on car just to be certain and found out car have a slavage and rebuilt title along with 2 recalls from dodge. So thank you so much carfax for saving my time as well as my money!”

“I was able to sell my 2003 Suburban for $1,500 more than what I would have gotten for a trade in. Because I had a Carfax report, it gave my buyer who was 965 miles away, the confidence to purchase my vehicle knowing it had been taken care of. Now, he has a good dependable vehicle that he is happy with and we had the additional money to buy another vehicle for us. And by the way, the Carfax report on the 2013 Yukon that we bought was the deciding factor between two different vehicles we were considering. Thanks Carfax, you made this process easier giving us the peace of mind when buying and selling our vehicles.”

“I looked at four different 2002 Toyota tundras, the first three had the miles turned back. Two of the cars were from dealers , who did not seem surprised when I pointed it out. The third one was from a private seller, who was heartbroken, as he bought the car thinking the miles were genuine. He called me later asking how to create a carfax account. I told him I would not buy a car without using it.”
