“being effected from the crash of 09 , the economy falling short ..my wife and I have watched pennies and have looked at all spending a little closer , recently I had the opportunity to purchase a new used 08 gmc truck . I used car fax to determine the trucks history and to comfort my purchase , as some of you know the last 5 years have made us all more aware of the resources to prevent being taken advantage of AND carfax is definetly one I relyed on .. Thanks”

“I was looking for cars for months, and it was very frustrating and monotonous. I found cars everywhere that I knew nothing about. Thankfully, I purchased a Carfax every time, and I found out that many great deals were not so great. I found out many had previous accidents and even salvaged titles. “Our 2004 Chrysler Dream Cruiser...After totaling our 2003 Chrysler PT Cruiser we wanted to get another one, for the love of those PTs! So the hunt was on and found one about 2 1/2 drive away from where we lived. I contacted the owner and got the VIN Number and went online to pay the one time fee to get the report. Not only was it accurate but had all the info we needed to make the Right Choice to purchase this PT Cruiser and have been so glad we did! The owner also had all the s r vice records and they matched the Carfax report so I was very Happy I decided to check out the PT Cruiser first! You have one very Happy Carfax customer!!!! ????? “A friend of mine bought a car from a well known car dealership. I told her about Car Fax because my car checked out to have no problems. She didnt and her car has broken down and two different mechanics told her her car has been in a bad accident, her transmission went out and a defect in her axle. If she would have done the Car fax im sure she wouldnt have bought the car. So she has a LEMON”

“I checked out a 2002 Ford Taurus and checked out the carfax and it actually ended up being a good deal. It told me every owner and every maintenance record for my car. Thanks car fax!”

“We were looking at a car on Craigslist. We ran the Carfax and discovered that it had a rebuilt title, something we had never heard of. When we ran the Carfax, we were provided not only with the vehicle's complete history, but also definitions and explanations of what a rebuilt title is. Fantastic! We avoided the purchase.”

“I recently purchased a car from a private party. I ran the car fax and brought a print out with me, I was able to negotiate with the seller much more effectively while pointing out the car fax report listed the small faults and it's not as "perfect" as the seller advertised. The $50 was well spent in exchange to a $3000 lower price for purchasing the car!”

“Thanks to CARFAX my son didn't make a huge mistake on buying his first car. He saw his dream car at a local small dealership in our town. It was a Mustang. Car looked pretty good and the price seemed good and was in his budget. A friend of mine told us we needed to use Carfax to check on the car. Once we did we knew to stay away from that car. It had 8 previous owners, had been in 5 accidents with the 5th one totaling out the car. None of this had been mentioned by the car dealer. ( he said as far as he knew it had only been owned by 2 other people and didn't know of any accidents and seemed to be a great sound car).... Well 2 days later my son found what is now his 1st car and he loves it. It is a Mitsubishi Eclipse and the Carfax report came up with everything GREAT on the car. Thank you Carfax for saving my son from losing all his hard earned money he saved up.”

“CarFax was a good investment for me. I needed a car in Florida and the best-looking car I could find of the needed make and model was in Indiana, nearly a thousand miles away. I had some photos of the car, but I needed to know more, so I eschewed the website's proffered history check and went with CarFax. Even though CarFax cost a bit more, it was worth it because it had more records. CarFax shows the car had been well maintained but also that it had a recent minor rear-end collision. Nevertheless, because the photos showed repairs had been completed, we bought the car and had it transported to us. Now that we have the car, have inspected it, and have driven it, we know we made the right choice. It is an excellent car.”

“We were looking at a used car that looked great, but the dealer did tell us that they had no intention of looking over the car as they were going to send it to another dealer. We ran the car fax and found that it had no accidents, one owner, and was recently in for service for new brakes and tires. We bought the car and were able to save over two thousand dollars because we did our due diligence and the dealer did not! Thank you Carfax!”
