“We were going to purchase a 2006 HHR for my wife. Something about the deal seemed 'not right' and so we used Carfax. Turns out the HHR had a salvage title as a result of a collision that had deemed the vehicle totaled! That made the difference in our NOT purchasing that vehicle and most likely resulted in a headache for someone else and not US! Thanks to Carfax.”

“I wanted to know what reports were given to you guys on my 2009 Ultra Classic Tri-Glide Harley Davidson. The report was spotty at best. I wanted to give this a lower rating but thought it not fair as I do not believe it is car fax problem that people do not report stuff. I bought this bike with 1200 miles from a company called siam motors in Vancouver BC. The report says the last person to own this bike was an auction house in Seattle Washington. I know for a fact that the bike was purchased from a dealer in Texas. For some reason there is no report on the owner that bought it from Texas and anything before the auction. I am the next person on record to have owned this bike.”

“Getting the CarFax report package for 5 cars allowed me to screen that many cars until I found the right one. Even though the car's mileage was higher than some others, the car's history matched up perfectly to what the seller told me about its history. I was able to buy a really nice accident -free car and it was well worth the cost of the report. I was able to be confident that I was making a good decision about a car that I might otherwise have not considered.”

“I bought a 2008 Nissan Altima and the Car Fax report let me know that the left side of the vechile was in and accident. Also the car was a rental and we all know that people run rentals to death. Thank you car fax for the information and will use you all the time when I ppurchase vechile.”

“CarFax closed the deal much better than any mechanic inspection. CarFax provided history from day one. The buyer was satisfied within minutes of me ordering and sharing the CarFax with him. He was the first and only person to see the Van. He obviously did his homework and together with the Carfax he didn't have a problem pulling $6,000.00 cash out of his pocket! My personal experience as a buyer requires sellers to provide a clean CarFax or I stay clear. GPL”

“I was in the process of getting my carfax when my computer crashed after I entered my credit card info. I never received the carfax but was billed for the service. I have since paid for the carfax that I never received.”

“Be VERY careful when purchasing CARFAX. If their system is down, it's your problem. Try to get assistance? Your problem again. We purchased a CARFAX package while looking for 2 vehicles on Craig's List. After a long drive to one vehicle, we could not access our CARFAX account or get any assistance because it was a weekend. Refunds? They've got your money. Proceed with caution!! I'll never use them again.”

“I paid unlimited access and bought a car that carfax said was not wrecked. And it had been wrecked. I went to another site and paid $6.95 to get report and it showed wreck. Paid over $50 with carfax and it didn't show wreck. I am not happy.”

“I purchased a used motorhome from a dealer who told me it was a local unit... I quizzed the salesman on the under body rust and he said it was salt from snow hills.. I pulled a car fax that showed the unit was repaired and out of state. Got my money back after confronting the manager”

“My car of choice was a 2000 + Mercedes SL500. My son and I (I'm 80) looked at about twenty different models in addition to the SL500. Three were ruled out because of information on the car fax (one being a totaled car) I eventually ended up with a 2003 SL500 as my son didn't think I should mess with the removal top. I in retrospect think he was right. I love my convertable. The top goes up or down in 16 seconds. Robert D. Rowen bobr7777@aol.com”

“Before trying carfax I didint know If I should spend that much money on it , but at the end ot turned out great I ended up buying 2 car one for my self and one for the family. I have and definitely will in the feature recommend carfax to family and friends. You rock carfax finally there is something to trust on!”

“I was looking for a Mercury Grand Marquis, One was pointed out to me. Upon seeing the car, it was low mileage, and an exceptional body. i did notice a small area of paint over spray after the hood was opened, I knew then and there a CARFAX report was needed. The report that the care had been in a collision, and had a salvage title. CARFAX saved me from a huge headache. Thank You CARFAX.”

“08/02/14 Every used car I buy, i always have carfax by my side. very relieable truthfull, an very helpfull.. several times I went to look at a car, Iguess the sales person forgot to tell me something about the car i'am looking at. Came back home, did some reserching, with the help of CARFAX, Isaved myself some problems & headackes I've always use a carfax when buying a used car or truck Thank u CARFAX”
