“Excellent information. It was accurate and I utilized your information and was saved from purchasing a car that the dealer lied about. He displayed false information online as well as face to face. When I pulled up the Carfax and told him that his information was incorrect he basically told me to leave his dealership and said I would not find a decent car in my price range. Ironically, I found an excellent car and once again utilized Carfax and without fail found a car in excellent condition in my price range. Without hesitation purchased a cash car with confidence. FYI...I took the cash car to a mechanic and he verified the car was mint condition. Thank you!!!!”

“I purchased a 2008 Ford Escape and utilized a carfax report to make my decision. It had information regarding prior mechanical care that I found useful. I will definitely use Carfax when buying a used car!”

“I always depend on Carfax before purchasing. The one time I didn't do a Carfax I purchased a flood damaged motorhome. Lesson learned.”

“I traded my car to a dealership that said it needed a new transmission. After several months I ran a car fax and it reported brake work done on the rear wheels. How can I know if the dealer did the transmission work or not? Sounds like I will never know and I have been Taken.”

“I have really enjoyed using Carfax during my recent search for a used Ford Excursion. It kept me for getting two of the units that I was looking at (one had a false odometer reading). Then it gave me a great report on the one I finally purchased!”

“Because of some incompatibility issue with internet browsers, it is impossible to print out a complete Carfax report on demand. One has to contact customer service (48 hour delay) to get a PDF file emailed to you. If you are depending on the report to use when buying a vehicle...the opportunity maybe list due to their delay. I do not recommend their service.”
