“When picking car up off site from Cork Airport, when signing all documents etc, I was asked to pay either a further £152 or £132 for insurance for 4 days hire. Twice as much as original car hire. I have tried to raise a query on this with CarJet but no response. Online it states if you wish extra insurance it is £7 per day ?”
“I hired the car at Greece for Volkswagen T-Roc. When I went there they didn't have any VW cars at all. Agent confirmed they never had one Volkswagen T-Roc. It was mis sold to me and also they pressurized me to buy extra insurance which is rejected by the car company. I am not happy with your service and mis leading information provided.

They charged me before and when I reached the venue to collect the car they refused saying I don’t have proper credit debit card and they won’t let me have it. So I lost all my money. This is total fraud company. Don’t ever rent a car from here.

“I reserved a car and paid for in Feb'24 to puck up from Lisbon airport in June, flight was slightly delayed when I went to the meeting point the van from Okmoblity never came (they should deliver the vehicle) tried to call the number on the form but to no avail, it had a recorded message saying the offuce was closed so I took a UBER and went to my destination, the following day I went to Okmobility's office and they said they could not help me anymore because they didn't have the car. OK Mobility our me in contact with Car Jet in Spain and I had a very rude lady talking that didn't want to give me her full name and refused to help at all saying that because my flight was slightly delayed (1/2 hour, if so) I lost the right to the car and the money. I suggested to take one days value and give me another vehicle for the rest of days and was refused, requested the money back minors one day and she said they can't refund. So I lost 130€ to these scammers.
I sent an email explaining what had happened and I never got a response but instead started getting emails to give reviews and book a car again. CARJET NVER AGAIN IN MY LIFE SCAMMERS...A

Eenmaal geland belde ik hen op maar ze melden mij dat ik 2000 Dirham, €180 boete moest betalen omdat mijn vlucht te laat was en ik daardoor de auto later was gaan ophalen!!! Dat is pure oplichterij!!! Dit is overmacht! Let op bij deze maatschappij, ikzelf zal er nooit meer boeken en ik raad ze niemand aan! OPLICHTERS zijn het.”
“We hired a car from Heathrow allowing plenty of time from our flight as it allowed us to return it at a more convenient time as well. When we landed we called the number provided and were asked about luggage and told where to wait. We waited for over an hour for the pick up and a minibus arrived where the driver opened the door but didn’t explain where we were going or make even the smallest polite conversation. A couple of other hirers were there as well. We were taken around 15 minutes away from the airport to an anonymous office building where again we followed the transfer driver in but no explanation. A number of other people were sat in the foyer of the office in silence. After another 15 minutes nothing had moved and our hire time had arrived and we needed to get away as we had an appointment quite a long distance away. We went to try and see what was going on and found one lady in an office processing hirers with two people sat in the office. It then transpired that if all the people waiting, all had times earlier than us and going back 3 1/2 hours and no one was moving quickly. Eventually the first family were processed to pick up their car and waited outside where they stood waiting for what turned out to be one person who was cleaning the returned cars for another 20 minutes or more. Now, at an hour later than we needed to leave we interrupted the lady in the office to say we had to go to another company. She made no apology, explanation but just said we would need to speak to the broker (carjet, who we thought we were in the offices of). We got an Uber back to the main airport and picked up a car from Enterprise who dealt with us from start to finish in about 10 minutes. We have since followed up with carjet who have refused to give us a refund so we have lost all our money for the hire. DO NOT BOOK HERE!”
“Absolutely brutal, they are just a booking site. The company they put my rental through is called easirent, waited 40 minutes to be picked up, the lwb van I hired and paid for was a medium van van, no refund of the difference. "We called you to inform you" No they didn't. Then tried to charge me €30 for insurance excess which I already paid €12 to Carjet. While I was dealing with them, another couple cancelled their hire after an hour of being kept waiting. A mother and daughter from England also cancelled their hire while dropped the van back. Stay away from both CarJet, and Easirent. Also a block of €2900 is put on your credit card not for the duration of the hire but for 30 days.”
“Do not book with this broker- go striated to the actual car hire companies like europcar. We bought a "prepaid" voucher with them and them ended up having to pay the car.hire company as well - voucher was never redeemed. I am weeks dealing with their "customer service" and no joy.... its a pure trap!!!!!”
