Felt the staff were extremely helpful and attentive when in the show room looking to purchase a new car, however there was a severe lack of communication regarding when my car would be ready for collection. Collection of the car was also a nightmare - was kept waiting (sitting in my new car) for over an hour and a half with minimal updates from staff.

I paid my deposit for my car and received a call just about every day to pay the outstanding amount. I got my reveal and the car was supposed to have a wheel replaced and was not but also had been scraped since we saw it in the showroom. We had to have the car picked up to have repairs done and have parts put in the car which were missing. Not a great experience overall.

I have bought a lovely car despite a loose connection to tail light bulbs causing a warning light to come on when I first switched lights on. I have now identified the offending bulbs. I spent over two hours waiting to pick up my car as I was not told I had to bring something in writing with settlement figure for finance. I had been told by salesman he had got it from Renault Finance when I agreed the purchase. Had I been told to get this I would not have had such a delay.

I have always used pater vardy and have been happy all the time this time round I felt let down because when I got told the day to pick car up the hand break was not working, the car was not cleaned properly, they delivered the car to me and back boot light covers missing and my sat nav card was missing when I was calling to speak to anyone they would always say they would get back to me but they never did

The length of time you are kept waiting when picking car up is ridiculous. Make appointment to collect and it takes approximately an hour and a half to eventually be given the keys to drive off.

The initial service was excellent, the after sale service wasn’t so great, I was informed that a would get the 5 day drive away insurance, and it wasn’t till I was picking the car up that I was told I couldn’t get the insurance because I was 18. That then cost me £200 to drive the car home. Also they told me my car would be ready by 3pm and when we arrived it wasn’t until 3:20pm I was told the car hadn’t even been fuelled yet. The car service history wasn’t included, nor the 2 key battery’s replaced, all as promised.

Excellent service from sales team. A little disappointed in our experience after that. Ryan Porterfield could not have done more for us. His level of customer service was way above our expectations. Its a shame the rest of the organisation can't match his level of customer service.

Took too long to collect car, and mud guard wasn't fitted to back wheel. Cant open bonnet so waiting on call back. Communication in store could be better. Phoned to get told I would get phoned back which never happened either. But apart from that happy with my car.

Jodie was great and really helpful throughout the whole sale. She was not there on the day I took delivery of the vehicle. I was given a vehicle with the wrong registration plate. The store being shut on Easter Sunday, meant I was stuck with a vehicle that I could not legally drive. As I was unwilling to risk an instant £1000 fine and MOT failure if I was checked by the police. I phoned and explained the situation at 0900 on mon morning and was told someone would phone me back at 10. This did not happen and I had to phone the store back again. I brought my vehicle into the store and after waiting for approx 50 mins the number plates were changed. At no stage in this process was there any compensation offered, for what is quite a severe mistake on the part of the dealership that put me at risk of a large fine.

Chris our salesman was fantastic. Very approachable and helpful and nothing was too much bother for him. The car itself however is a different story. Car pick up was booked for the Friday night. We noticed before we drove it away that there was a flat tyre and both front windscreen wiper rubber blades were hanging off...MOT failure straight away! MOT was allegedly done 4th March by Peter Vardy Hillington. We couldnt take car away that night as tyre and wipers had to be replaced. Picked car up next day. Drove it home and noticed that the TPMS sensor would not go off, car shuddering as soon as we hit 50mph, clutch making a whirring noise and the chips on the front hadn't been sorted. (Supposed to be sorted before we picked car up). Car went back in on the Tuesday for the work needing done. Picked it up on Thursday, tpms sensor sorted, wheel balancing had been done to stop shuddering. Chips still not sorted and having to book the car back in again in 4 weeks time to get clutch sorted!! This is our second car bought from Peter Vardy Hillington, no issues with first car but this time has been a nightmare and a total inconvenience as we need our car. We have certainly been put off buying again from here and we will not be recommending either.

The customer service we got from Ross Spriggs was second to none, given it was only his first week and we were his first sale he could not have done more for us. 10/10 service from him. I would however like to add that when my husband and I came to collect the car there was an issue in what i would be paying every month for the car. The manager agreed a price the week before when we bought it then changed his mind my faith in him dropped slightly and to be honest if Ross hadn’t if been there as he agreed with us and he himself knew what price we agreed the week before we would’ve just have said forget it, like I said Ross was fantastic. Another point I would like to add a week after I got the car it was making a squeaky noise at the front right side, I took it in on my way too work on a Saturday morning and asked if I could I leave just for someone to listen to it, given I only had the car a week this shouldn’t of been an issue but I was told no and then told no one was available and that I need book an appointment which wasn’t till 2 weeks away. For a brand new car and only having it a week not acceptable it has however been fixed since. When I went in on that Saturday which was the 3rd March there were plenty of staff and I get there might not have been technicians available but all I wanted was for someone to give it a listen but not possible. The car went in and got fixed Thursday 21st March however when my husband went in to collect it they had ordered the wrong part!!! No offence but HOW is that possible so it really was waste of time leaving my car there. 2 weeks to wait till it gets fixed then it doesn’t actually get fixed in that scheduled day what a farce and very bad service and we’re not impressed to say the least given the amount of money im paying for the car. If all of this hadnt of happened I would’ve given better star reviews but the customer service from after we got the car was shocking and therefore out stars reflect that. Please pass on our comments about Ross to him as I’ve said he was brilliant and could not have done more for us. I’ve changed my recommend to a 5* based solely on Ross the issues that I had were no way his fault like I said he was brilliant

The communication after the purchase was bad, was passed from pillar to post with regards to actually getting the car. It wasn't explained what was getting fixed on the car if this had of been said there would no have been any issues.
