“I came to Peter Vardy on the recommendation of my regular garage who service every car I have owned.I found the sales staff to be friendly and helpful and not 'pushy' I visited on several occasions before seeing a car that I decided on. I was very disappointed in the preparation of the car when I came to collect it. The sales staff had told me that several paintwork faults would be fixed before collection. They were not, and I could see the marks on the car from 15 feet away and it really took the shine off the day to have to complain about he car before I had even drove it. I complained about the condition off the car and to be fair Deborah from the after sales team was very helpful and arranged for the car to be fully prepared a week later. I also noticed that no effort was made to give under the bonnet even a cursory clean which would always be done at an Arnold Clark. I also had a problem with a headlight letting in water, but again Deborah arranged to have this fixed. There is also, I think, a problem with the braking system (spongy and not responsive) The mechanics say they cannot find any fault at the moment, but if it feels the same after a few weeks I should bring the car back in for another check up. In general I found no fault with either sales or after sales but felt quite let down by the condition of the car when I came to collect it.”

“My wife and I loved the layout of the store, which made it very easy to identify the car we were looking for. We really appreciated the fact that the store was very child friendly. We were very happy, in particular, with Ben, the young sales assistant. He was respectful, polite, well-informed and very willing to answer all our questions patiently. He never once made us feel under pressure. We had previously visited other car salesrooms and didn't go back for a second visit because we had felt slightly pressured. It was the opposite with our encounter with Ben. He was so approachable and helpful that we looked forward to returning to the store for a second visit, after which we purchased our car. My wife and I were also very impressed with Ben's attentiveness in the days after the sale. .He responded to a couple of our follow-up questions in an efficient and friendly manner so that we felt that Peter Vardy were interested in assisting us even after the sale of the car had gone through.”
