“Right car right age right price. Relatively straight forward. Sadly £40 compulsory fuel charge only gave half a tank. Consequent later £40 gave me a full tank ! See photo. Update - contacted by Martin McGuire from Peter Vardy and a £20 refund given. There are a few negative reviews here but I was contacted within 10 mins of review and Martin could not have been more apologetic or helpful. That makes this a 5* review now. Great sales/after sales service in my book. Would definitely go back.”

“I am very happy with my purchase of a Hyundai I40. Having thoroughly searched the market, Peter Vardy (especially the Hillington store) definitely had the best deals. Stuart, the customer rep was very helpful in helping me choose a car that met my requirements and was very professional. The thorough testing the cars go through before being available to purchase gives it another edge over competitors. The store is very well presented, and when I got my car, it was immuculate inside and out. Would thoroughly recommend. Peter Vardy's excellent reputation is deserved. Update: When purchasing the warranty I made it clear to the sales representative that I would be using it as a taxi, to which they said this wouldn't be an issue. I have since cancelled the warranty, after reading in the conditions that the warranty was in fact not valid for vehicles used as taxis. I was also told the one year warranty would take effect only once the five year manufacturers warranty had expired (I have no need of an additional warranty right now as the manufacturer warranty is in place for another year and a half). After numerous phone calls I have still not received a refund.”

“Although I did drive away with my car it was not the car I chose initially.. the car that I first chose was not up to my standards both externally and interior. I was told my car was being transported and due for collection when in fact it had not been , this confusion cost me admin fees with my insurance company. Sean the sales man was pleasant efficient and apologetic on his return from his holiday . I can’t complain about the service he delivered. I was disappointed with the valet service. The first car that I had initially wanted to purchase was disgusting. I was insulted that anyone would think that I would accept that. I would not buy a car again that I have not seen on site . I think the whole situation was misfortunate but I would deal with the sales rep Sean .”

“Absolutely amazing customer experience, Craig from the sales team had outstanding skills in the department dealing with me on the purchase of my new vehicle, would give him 10/10 on the service he provided would definitely recommend to family and friends 100% happy with this , although the car wasn’t up to high standards with bumps and scrapes when I got it at the handover but over satisfied with everything els”
