“When we were arranging the motor insurance cover on the phone we received a lot of help and advice But we have not received any confirmation either by email or post that we are actually insured and under what terms. So we are a little disappointed”
“A very nice young man organised my policy, he was very thorough, explaining everything well as we went through the stages of the policy, making sure I understood everything. we concluded the application, and I bought the policy. After the call was ended, he rang back a few moments later to check on something he felt he had omitted, or hadn;t explained properly. Altogether, a very friendly, efficient young man.”

In 60 years of buying car insurance in the past all I have done is get a quote, pay,s my money, documents arrive in the post. job done.
Why all this manage my account ???. I don.t want to manage anything, all I want is insurance cover, full stop.

“Castle produced the cheapest quote for me through Compare the Meerkat, but I was also pleased to see they were backed by Ageas - a major player in the insurance market. I was impressed by the free NCD protection and also took the very-reasonably-priced legal protection.
Two days after taking out the cover, I was called by a friendly, native-English speaking, customer service advisor, who confirmed Castle's receipt of my NCD proof and then discussed the excess and options. He made a brief attempt to "upsell" options I hadn't selected, but was not at all pushy. He asked if I had any queries and assured me that, if I had any in the future, they would be happy to help.
My experience with Castle so far has been excellent, and I would not hesitate to recommend them.”

“I have been frustrated with creating my online account which led me to having to call Castle to sort out. I uploaded proof of my NCB, but still got requests for the document. I email it across to Castle, but was sent further requests. I emailed it a third time before it was accepted. Then I wanted to make a small change on the policy. The website portal is very difficult to understand and despite Castle trying to explain where edit button was, when I showed them screenshots of what I was seeing they conceded that it was not there! They then asked me to call the Portal Helpdesk so that they could assist. I still was not shown where the edit button was, but the gentleman I spoke to did change my details himself. I think everything is sorted out now, although the insurance has not actually started yet! I was very closing to cancelling. A frustrating experience - I hope I don't have a claim! “Initially I was satisfied with the quote given and paid for the motor Insurance, however after providing documents as requested, the service was poor, no initiative or common sense but causing unnecessary stress. I just wish I had gone somewhere else!”
