“Maybe an idea if all persons wishing to sell a vehicle of any sort unless through an auction should have this check ready as part of the requirement to sell a vehicle on to stop any grief of after sales finding information too late. Many people are not aware of this procedure. The grief in finding information out too late and the amount of time effort and paperwork trying to chase information could be alleviated in this way. Just a thought.”

“Was a little disappointed at the results brought up. I think the cheaper package would have been more suitable. Not all MOT history was there. It promised a full history of the MOT and did not get that”

James, sorry that you weren't happy with the MOT history. Unfortunately we can only show what's been digitised by the DVLA which sometimes isn't all of the records. With our Gold check you get the full finance history on the vehicle to be sure that the car isn't still on finance - this is increasingly common, even with classic cars and we highly recommend this check. “I used the "sliver" check and was a little dissatisfied with the fact that this service didn't cover a basic financial check, asking you to pay more money for that. It was however quick and I discovered what I required. I already knew that the financial side was not a issue, but it would have been good to have that confirmed, if the check had said it was an issue then people may feel justified to spend a little more to discover what it was, but to say nothing either way, then to pay and discover that there was nothing wrong is a little shady.”

Dear Melanie, thanks for using UKVehicle.com and for taking the time to review us. The single AA check is actually £19.99 - our Gold Check is just half of this cost at £9.99. We've taken the choice not to offer 'multi-buy' deals as a lot of people forget to use all five checks which ultimately ends up costing them more. It's also important to note that the AA check doesn't include our valuation and mileage range info, previous sales events or MOT history!
