“Please don’t sign up with them. I asked for a cancellation and they pressured me into just pausing my account during the pause, my cc got stolen and was cancelled and a new card issued. All other services tied to that card were unable to charge it (utilities, car note, Spotify, Netflix) however they managed to charge the cancelled card. I immediately asked for a cancellation and refund as I hadn’t used the service in months due to financial reasons. However they denied the refund even though support initially told me they did cancel and refund. I’ve tried speaking to multiple support agents and requested to speak to a manager which they said also denied my request, so I was gonna chalk it up and try speaking to my care counselor, however they suspended the ability to even speak to any counselors or use any of their services even though they charge you for a full month and it shows it’s set to cancel on 7/17.”

“I’ve heard great things about Better health so I figured cerebral wouldn’t be the same, but my experience here has been less than satisfactory. My appointment was canceled on me twice so I never spoke with anyone the first month, and I was charged a second time without having met with anyone yet.”

“I signed up over a month ago and my provider has such a full schedule I wasn't able to schedule for a month. I can't necessarily schedule during the day unless it's Fridays. Unfortunately, I had to move it out another week due to a scheduling issue on my end, but I've paid for two months and haven't even had my first session.”

“I appreciate the fact that I have a counselor and a prescribing Dr., and a coordinator to help me communicate with them. However, I just started on higher doses, per the Dr.'s orders, and I have concerns about my symptoms and side effects, and asked to speak to the Dr. about it, two weeks ago, and haven't heard from her yet.”

“I like the idea of Cerebral a lot, but I think that there are still some things that need to be figured out. For instance, I think there need to be more common insurances that are more widely accepted. While my medication is covered, the actual use of the platform is not, and it's an added stress to have to worry about how I'm paying for this.
Then I feel like there is a sort of lack of communication on how the whole thing works. Like how many times am I allowed to reach out to my care provider through text, and what are some of the expectations of the appointments that I do have, I'm just not entirely sure how all I'm supposed to be supported or if I signed up for a package that doesn't really have those benefits.
But there are good things about it too. I love that they ship your medication right to you and all my providers have been super friendly and kind.”

“The Cerebral app has completely changed the way to approach and manage your mental health. From convenient video calls with your providers and medications shipped directly to you, to affordable services, you wouldn't want to bother with themore "traditional" psychiatriatic process. “I wish with the counseling package you get more than one session a month. I feel like two would be a better option then capping it at one and then charging $30 per additional session. Also, I wish Cerebral sent out notices of when they will charge something instead of just seeing it was charged and not seeing any type of notice. For example I was getting small charges and had no clue what they were for until I saw that my medications were the same pricing.”
