I just wanted to let you know that Brian Y. is the best. I feel heard and understood every single time we chat. He goes above and beyond to understand what I am going through and feeling to make sure that my medication is the best fit. He is super kind and understanding and I actually feel like the meds he put me on are helping my quality of life. Just wanted to let you know that am so glad I picked him when I first started out. Perfect fit and I don't feel like I am going through this alone. Thank you so much

The cost is too expensive and works poorly with insurance that would cover therapy, doctor appts, and all medical costs everywhere.

I will never use this app ever again. The way you unsubscribed is absolutely insane. Why am I still after a month of cancelation of this service that I am still being charged and now more then what I was asked to pay. It's 300 plus dollars every week your trying to steal from me and only today did you guys became successful. Send my money back plz

I just had my first 2 appointments. I've put off therapy for so long, for so many reasons. The convenience of doing this at home is amazing, and both ladies were great! Thank you so much. I'm actually looking forward to getting ahead with my mental health for the first time in years!

Responses are very slow. Scheduling with a provider is slow as well. After your first appointment you usually have to wait atleast 3-5 days to speak with a provider once you reach out to schedule. This doesn’t work if you need immediate change to your medicine

First….THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH FOR ALL YOUR TIME you have put into my account! This is one of the best emails I have received describing everything I need to know. I completely understood it all. Plus, I’m actually suppose to be doing weekly therapy but I couldn’t afford it once I moved here. And now that I have insurance I can! So this plan is exactly what I need. I’m so happy to be able to have someone to talk to weekly. For the past three years I’ve been in weekly therapy. It is very helpful to me. 💕

The care givers I’ve talked to have been nice but there is zero consistency. I’m now on my 4 prescriber and I’ve been extremely frustrated.

Excellent provider and therapist but I think there needs to be more hired on because their time slots fill up so quickly. Also longer therapy sessions or twice a week.

I wanted to say thank you to Nickole for her help. She has been an amazing counselor, and if I had to choose one person who has made Cerebral worth it it would be her. I always felt like I was speaking to a friend and was super comfortable. She would bring things up from past sessions even if they were a while ago. She is clearly invested in her work and I would recommend her to others if I could. All the best!

I am constantly surprised and impressed by the professional and considerate care I receive from Cerebral; I have not had a single negative experience and truly feel seen and heard in every interaction no matter who I talk to, from support staff to my care team to my provider. My mental health difficulties make in-person appointments extremely difficult and I'm prone to masking how difficult things really are for me with people I don't trust; this platform allows me to get the help I so desperately need in a manner that makes me feel safe and secure. I tried another similar platform for a few months before coming here and felt like I was never a priority, just a nameless faceless person behind a screen, but Cerebral has never made me feel that way. Thank you to Cerebral as a whole and the amazing teams I've had the pleasure of working with so far, this is such an important and necessary service that is truly improving lives.

The care team is so understanding and looks out for their patients as much they can. Communication is always very quick and they’re willing to work with your schedule as much as they can. Love it!

I find myself trying to find a "NICE" way to express the abysmal failure that Cerebral. It all sounds good on paper, but when applied is this rushed detached thing that wastes your precious time and money. I don't think Cerebral is set up for anything other than a relatively easy way to obtain a prescription. Oh wait, unless your doctor decides for literally no reason you don't have ADHD, even though YOUR tests say otherwise. Okay. This is just income to most of you, isn't it? A means to an end? I honestly pray that I am the only one feeling this way. Maybe I just unlucky? I guess it's my fault I chose a counselor entirely too distracted to be of any help on the call. We are humans too, on the other side of the screen! I will be ending my business with Cerebral and making a point to warn others. You (as a company) should honestly be ashamed.

the cerebral team really cares. the program is fast to begin, they work with your schedule, and it is not even expensive like lots of mental health services can be. i feel my depression, negative adhd symptoms, and anxiety fading with the help of cerebral !

If you are thinking of signing up - PLEASE READ! ZERO STARS. I never write reviews but this one has to be done! I spent several months with their services and I can not stress enough as to the constant multiple problems I have had with them so I just had to write this review because this level of service has never happened to me like this. From poor communication, crappy providers, dismissed, invalidated, to being treated like a drug addict, it was a constant stream of problems since day one (of 3 months) and really shocking how I was treated. If I would have known what I know now I would have ran in the other direction and far far away. I am not the kind of person that ever writes reviews but this MUST be done as I was going through the worst time in my life at the time I signed up and along with a history of ADD, anxiety, depression and panic attacks, and all Cerebral did was make my life much much worse. Everyone should know their deception, that the so-called coordinator “person” with a name like “Eileen” on the message portal is actually a fake name, a picture of a fake person, and you aren’t actually speaking to that person but with multiple people who pose to be this one person, which is why you get that copy and paste kind of responses of sloppy communication and close to robotic, that is, if you end up even getting a response! I found this out one day when I came across a coordinator I spoke with over the phone who actually revealed that hidden piece of info to me but I dont think he was suppose to however after awhile you will start to figure it out due to the bizarre and slow responses you get. Several therapists later during the 3 months of relentless hell with Cerebral, it was ruining my life and did nothing but make my mental health worse. That really says everything there doesn't it?! None out of the 3 therapists I saw really gave me ANY tools to work with that were actually of any benefit, it was basically just me talking the entire hour as they really didn't know what to say. I was told to put ice on my face while having a panic attack, or just “be mindful” during a heightened panic attack, so you’ll end up paying $$$ for someone to tell you these kinds of things. Talk about frustrating. My wallet was lost so I had to cancel my credit cards so one of those was the one I used for Cerebral and as soon as the month changed over and they couldn’t get their automatic payment I was getting non-stop phone calls on a daily basis like gangsters ready to get their money, it was alarming. They want their money that is for sure, but yet when YOU need something from them they are nowhere to be found or will straight up abandon you! My first visit with a provider and he asked me one question, just one and one only during the entire 20 min conversation, it was after I was bawling my eyes out expressing my current life circumstances to him and I could tell he just didn’t want to be bothered, the only thing he asked, “So are you having a crisis?”, and it was in a way that was as if he was really annoyed to be dealing with me. Kind of like, hurry up and get out of my office, kind of vibe. And then he was clear that he thought I was just looking for drugs. It was incredible how I was treated just in that short conversation, and that was day one. These people really don’t care about you, they only need a paycheck. My visits with some of these providers was awful, I was treated like I was an addict and as if I was out looking for drugs, but no matter how much I said or bottles of past prescriptions I could show them, they still made it really difficult to give me my medication as they kept refusing, you'll be treated like a drug addict for just mentioning your past. When someone is having panic attacks ongoing daily for months and nothing they suggest is helping than why wouldn't you prescribe a former benzodiazepine to help the patient? It was cruel and it's as if they know this and want you to suffer. You all should know that they are big on promoting anti-depressants and refuse to refill any past prescriptions of controlled substances no matter how long you have been taking them or how serious your condition currently is, they just don’t care. And any medication they did prescribe took at least 15 days to arrive by the mail, but yet when you call and try and speak to anyone there to find an answer, no one knows what is going on and they always point the finger to someone else at the company and then they tell you they will call you back and never end up calling you back, so then you have to call in again and you get a different person who can’t seem to understand any of the notes that were left on your account and then days into weeks later the cycle starts all over again leaving you nowhere and everyone is clueless and careless. I did this exact thing SO MANY TIMES because no one wanted to address any concern I had at the time of the initial phone call. Talk about frustrating and unprofessional. They take no accountability for their actions and hide behind pointing the finger. And here’s the big kicker, this is like the end finale to my already walk-through-hell of dealing with Cerebral... I was THROWN OUT from their services. Yep, Cerebral kicked me out with no real explanation or legitimate grounds for this decision whatsoever. I received a voicemail from the doctor, which was shocking that she called because they are extremely hard to get ahold of no matter what, never around, never can get them, and my next appointment was 3 months down the road, which was her “next available”. So she ended up calling me and leaving a voicemail from out of nowhere telling me that she is unable to help me any further from here and that she recommends that I see another doctor telling me she spoke with her supervisor and they felt that my “condition is too high for their platform” to deal with and so they are referring me out. From out of nowhere! I last had an appointment with her 2 weeks prior and none of this was said. I think they did not like that I confronted their bad behavior and wanted me out. She said she will refill the last round of my prescriptions while I find a new doctor, but these were medications that you can’t just abruptly stop but she didn't care, Cerebral doesn't give one rats ass care about this, AND the prescription NEVER arrived because she never put them in to be refilled to begin with! So there I was left cold turkey, and if they TRUELY did care they wouldn't have treated their patient like that. Prime example of how they lack empathy and any human decency. Absolutely ridiculous and extremely careless and unprofessional, but yet I was made to feel as if I had the problem, as if I was "too extreme of a condition for their services", yeah just like an abusive relationship who uses gaslighting. So they will take your money and will treat you ONLY if you have some light depression and some minor anxiety? What a joke! I have panic attacks and anxiety, what is the problem? I really think they could not handle the fact that I kept questioning their bad business practices and confronted their continuous incompetence and dismissive and invalidating abuse. They really care about you don’t they, they really care about your mental health. ZERO empathy. Chew you up and spit you out like you don’t mean anything and leave you with zero medication to cold turkey from. No explanation whatsoever, just a cold hard cut with no access to my account and when I kept trying to call in and get an answer as to if they will keep their word and give me one last refill like the doctor promised and they once again was pointing the finger at someone else and claimed that they were not able to quote "our hands are tied" since they closed the account. Unbelievable! They clearly had no intensions of sending me off without a last refill, they really don't care! This is what they do to people who already have told them they are all alone and have lost everyone and everything in their lives. It was as if I was made to feel it was my fault, my condition was my fault that they somehow could not help me. Just from that situation alone I went through 4 “care coordinators” over the phone who kept ignoring my requests and promising me they will talk to their managers and get back with me with a phone call and ohh how sooooo sorry they were for me to hear that all of this happened, yeah right. I'm amazed at how many of their employees are brainwashed into their abusive ways. The entire debacle left me terribly disgusted and angry that I was treated like this and people need to know what happened. We’ll see what happens when they start speaking to my lawyer. Oh and Cerebral don't even try and pretend you care with responding to this review with some sugar coated phony sympathy message or by trying to bribe me with another one of your discount codes, clearly you have failed and nothing is going to change that. If you are looking to bring more stress, anxiety and unnecessary hell into your life, then sign up for Cerebral, they will be more than happy to take your money and treat you like $H#T.
