“Purchased a flight for my handicapped father and wound up paying $72 for seats that were still available for purchase and never reserved by cheapflightsfares. After booking my flight with them I called the accessibility office at United to request wheel chair assistance and they mentioned that because of my fathers condition that he wouldn't have to pay for seats. After reviewing the reservation the attendant didn't even see that seats that I had paid for were reserved. In United's system they were still available for purchase. When I called the office at cheapflightsfares to explain the situation about the seats not being recognized by United and asked if it would be possible to get a refund for the seats because my father no longer needed them they said NO! I said so you're just going to take the money for something that you guys didn't even reserve the attendant said that because you are in basic economy that is the way that it is. This is absurd and they have absolutely poor customer service. But I guess the truth is in the name. For me and my experience with them I give them... Two Thumbs Down and wish I had more thumbs because they would get them all ! Proceed with caution!”

“The "cheap" fares are a complete lie. The added baggage fees are enormous, and $65 for a carry-on is insane. Furthermore, I changed my return flight and was overcharged from what was quoted. Now I'm fighting with customer service for a credit, which they are not responding to. It was the first, and last time I'm ever using this airline.”

“It was very difficult to get refund 7hrs after booking when site clearly states have 24 hrs was told I could only get voucher to use at a later date when I insisted it states 24 hrs to cancel I finally got my refund approved .. Understanding the written terms by customer service was possibly reason for the misunderstanding. I wouldn't use the site again.”

“I had to change a flight due to Covid, a additional fee was changed, the total cost 807, the sight offered refund insurance, so I accepted it. My itinerary from this company showed its included. I call and need to cancel, now you say your not going to honor what it says! No one should use this company! My experience has been horrible. American Airlines told me to never use this company because they have done this before!! So now they say I’m getting a refund of 640 back, and sent me the following amount of 1$ back on the original form. I person I talked to told me it can only be by check. This continues to be an horrible experience. The sight when it asked do you want to protect your 807 that you are paying for your flight. Not do you want part of your money back at a cost of 77$ for the insurance and a horrific experience trying to get your money back!!!!”

“Oh did I also mention that their policy where it mentions "The basic economy fares typically cannot be changed or canceled after the 24-hour grace period" is fake. Lol. It just gets better. Don't waste your money with them”
