“They did not effectively Communicate with my bank and I had multiple emails that my card was declined which was actually my Bank protecting through fraud alert. By the time I got it settled my fare went up and I almost cancelled my trip. They gave me what I originally agreed to but I will not use this website again.”

“Prior to booking they claim free cancellations. When I called to double check, they confirmed this to be true. When I called & asked them to cancel within the 24 hour timeframe, I was told I would not receive a refund. The person on the phone made several snarky comments. I had a horrible experience. I will not use this service in the future and I will not recommend to anyone. I spent $300 more using cheapflights and spoke with a rude customer representative. UPDATE: Other agents called me to get me to adjust this bad review. I was told the same thing, but with respect. Again, they weren’t going to provide a refund even though they said they would prior to booking. I was also told they could rebook me for a cheaper flight, but I would have to pay the same amount of money…just lovely. The previous agent was rude and did not refund me even those the booking said free cancellation within 24 hours. A refund was not part of the resolution. I was asked several times to adjust my review.…Please adjust your service next time to avoid having bad reviews in the future. I will not be using this service again.”

“I bought a return ticket from Newark to Las Vegas. I paid extra for assigning my seat on window, but the airlines did not give me the seat claiming you did not book it for me. United service sucks and does not know how to attend and serve customers. Seems you messed up during reserving my flight. Thanks Cheap flights for calling and trying to resolve the issue. Seems like you did your job right but United messed up. I am happy with you for calling back to apologise and giving the refund. Good job”

“I have 3 pending charges on my credit card because of this site. 2 from you and 1 from my airline. I also have 2 fees that were not made clear to me before I completed the transaction and I don’t know why they are separate charges or why I even have to pay you a fee when I booked the flight myself. You also shouldn’t be holding money from the customer just wait for your money from American Airlines! I’m not responsible for making sure you get paid, I’m laying the airline for the service of a flight, not you.”

“Ridiculous that not only paying cancellation fee of a $100.00 to get your refund but to be charged $75 for rebooking/changes. A complete rip off and doubt very much I would ever travel with cheap Flights Fare. Y’all lack compassion and understanding for your customers. Y’all don’t explain properly nothing. Also the fact that a refund cannot go towards basic economy but only main cabin, straight no sense. Very disappointed to say the least. A simple trip that was originally $300 I. December somehow manage to cost closest to $800.00 less than a month and a half later. SMDH SOLVED 🙏🏾”

“I booked a flight. Got no confirmation so I called and was told the flight they sold me was booked. I got offered another flight. For a lot more and was pressured into taking it over the phone. As soon as I got off the phone I checked the prices online. I was charged over a hundred dollars more than the advertised price. This was a one and done scam for me.”

“My flights where canceled and I had to wait hours to be able to take my flight. They never reached out. Will never use them again. I did buy the travel insurance but I am not sure if they will do anything. I was stuck.”

I was seeing Canadian currency price at $625 each ticket. To my surprise, I paid in $US dollars and with the conversion, my total moved from $1240 CDN to $2070 CDN, a difference of $700. Can you help me because I beieve I was mislead.”

“Cheap Flights was not cheap at all, in fact, they up-charged for all services. They were not very helpful and customer service was difficult to understand and not very forthcoming with answers to important questions. They actually made flying for senior citizens who haven't flown in 2 years, the hardest thing to do in the hardest of situations regarding flying in general”

“I booked a round trip flight and I found a misspelling in my name one hour later. I called customer service to fix it. Representative said I have to cancel and rebook the flight but I have to pay $290. I did then I got an email saying policy that included free refund within 24 hours.”

“I purchased a flight through this app and after submitting my payment, charges for carry-on and checked baggage were added to my total. I called customer service directly after submitting my payment to correct it and the agent (Allan, who was of Indian descent) was rude and did not want to listen to my side of the story. He said the offer that I selected was no longer available and he could not refund me the amount for the baggage. Then why was the offer still being advertised? After I threatened to write a bad review, he took off the added charges but charged me an extra $10 for the ticket that I purchased. I will never use this app again! The non-refundable clause that is in fine print is a gateway for them to rip you off!”
