“Honestly, very disappointed with cheapoair. Buyers beware - they do not disclose that cancellations must happen within 24 hours. And at time of booking, that is NOT in their terms either. Ended up paying an extra $60 per person for seat assignments that didn't disclose their cancellation policy. They had no problem charging my card right away though. Customer service is as useless as pigeons. Seriously don't bother booking with cheapoair. And if you do, read the terms (if they even display it) VERY carefully. Shame on this company for operating like world-class scammers.”

“I originally booked thru them for flight Houston to Las Vegas. My payment was declined (address error). Received email from Spirit Airline to confirm payment. They processed payment successfully. I received an email from CheapOAir that they were going to process a payment
I called and advise them I had a confirmed reservation and was told that they would cancel their reservation. They assured me it would not cancel my confirm reservation. I found out they did cancel my confirm reservation with Spirit Air. I ended up rebooting at a higher rate

“My wife passed away, within days of booking flight to Bakersfield I had to cancel, neither the airlines, CheaOair, nobody would allow it. Sent death certificate, explanation, nothing was accepted. Flight home from South Bend to Chicago to Tampa was interesting. Boarding flight in SB to Chicago turned out to be a bus which then took us to O'Hare. I will NEVER book through this site again, untrustworthy and just plain evil.”

I have used them a number of times with no issue but this time I had to cancel a flight. I had even bought their insurance. My flight was camcelled- they charged me a fee!!!! That i had to pay out of pocket for!
Then, i did not get a refund , I recieved a credit. Fine, I travel a lot.
I go to use said credit- I am on their website looking at the fairs while talking to the agent ( they won't let you book online and use your credit you have to 'call them') and they give me a flight price- looks like what I see online- and I say ok now take my credit off it and I get ' that is with your credit' WTF THEY TRIED TO STEAL MY CREDIT AND WANTED TO CHARGE ME ANOTHER FEE!!
I called in 3 times- 2 times they promised someone would call me back. I GOT NOTHING.
I ended up calling the airline and telling them what this company was doing and the airline refunded me my money.

“This company is a scam. I booked a round trip and the dates got switched when I selected confirm so I got flights for a time not aligning with my dates of travel. No one was willing to help me and to top it off, I authorized a payment of $450 for my flights when I confirmed. I canceled both. While I fully understand not getting a refund/credit for the travel insurance, they did not refund: ESA fee $19.95, Baggage Service fee $13.00, Baggage Protection $5.00, Checked Bags $70.00, or the rental car fee paid at time of registration $47.66 for a total of $155.61 They were going to charge a $75.00 flight cancellation fee which they waived. They DID charge a $15.00 car rental cancellation. They bagged $170.61 for things that I WILL NOT BE UTILIZING.”

“This is trash . Do not book any flights or hotel with them . I gave them enough chances to improve themselves but they do not intend to change. If there is any negative stars I would love to give them . I booked flights with them yesterday for 7 of us . Was chatting directly from their website also on phone at the same time . I asked I need 2 check in baggage . He said okay and send me the detail . I asked him there is only one he said he upgraded to 2 and not to worry after an 30 minutes he called me and said he wasn’t able to make 2 luggage but the price will remain the same . I told him paid extra for luggage . He said he cannot able to change anything I asked him to cancel and he said he will proceed . He called me again I missed his call when I call him back in a minute he was already gone . I talk to that person to cancel my flight he hung up on me . Called again and talk to this guy and would like to proceed with cancellation.. at the mean time I said I will review them he act like kid and told me I am threatening of review and he has to transfer call to his supervisor, I said okay was on hold for another hour no one ever answered . Called again and cancelled the flight after 2.5 hour on the phone they are total trash . They lie at first and later story changes .. all the time .. we should avoid them”
