“I booked a ticket last night and I chose the correct date and then they switched the date themselves and charged me a fee to cancel. Do not book anything with this company because it’s a rip off. When I contacted them to fix it the stated it went up by 250 dollars”

We called and asked them the correct the mistake, but they told us that we had to pay $200 to make the correction claiming that it wasn't their agent who made it! Anyone who has talked with their agents know that they speak little English with a heavy accent and have serious problems spelling names. In addition, the background noise is intolerable! “I bought a ticket for a long flight to Europe and paid for the Insurance. IThey said I had 24 hours to cancel, and did not gave me the seats. After I paid I got an email where I was able to select the seats...Surprise!! Only the las seat was available and no together with my husband. I called to cancel the flight next day after work. They said because it was 26 hours after buying it I had to pay $500 to cancel and get my full refund. I asked for the Insurance I paid in case of canceling it and they did not accepted it ans did not refund me the Ins fee. I will NEVER again consider cheapair or recommended to anybody”

“Honestly, very disappointed with cheapoair. Buyers beware - they do not disclose that cancellations must happen within 24 hours. And at time of booking, that is NOT in their terms either. Ended up paying an extra $60 per person for seat assignments that didn't disclose their cancellation policy. They had no problem charging my card right away though. Customer service is as useless as pigeons. Seriously don't bother booking with cheapoair. And if you do, read the terms (if they even display it) VERY carefully. I called and advise them I had a confirmed reservation and was told that they would cancel their reservation. They assured me it would not cancel my confirm reservation. I found out they did cancel my confirm reservation with Spirit Air. I ended up rebooting at a higher rate

I bought a flight for my family from Buenos Aires to Curaçao with a short layover in Lima, and they changed the outbound flight to one with very long layovers in Santiago de Chile, and Bogotá, Colombia. I never accepted that change when they offered it to me. It's not the first time this has happened with Cheapoair. I don't recommend that site. They sell flights and then change them!”
“My wife passed away, within days of booking flight to Bakersfield I had to cancel, neither the airlines, CheaOair, nobody would allow it. Sent death certificate, explanation, nothing was accepted. Flight home from South Bend to Chicago to Tampa was interesting. Boarding flight in SB to Chicago turned out to be a bus which then took us to O'Hare. I have used them a number of times with no issue but this time I had to cancel a flight. I had even bought their insurance. My flight was camcelled- they charged me a fee!!!! That i had to pay out of pocket for!
Then, i did not get a refund , I recieved a credit. Fine, I travel a lot.
I go to use said credit- I am on their website looking at the fairs while talking to the agent ( they won't let you book online and use your credit you have to 'call them') and they give me a flight price- looks like what I see online- and I say ok now take my credit off it and I get ' that is with your credit' WTF THEY TRIED TO STEAL MY CREDIT AND WANTED TO CHARGE ME ANOTHER FEE!!
I called in 3 times- 2 times they promised someone would call me back. I GOT NOTHING.
I ended up calling the airline and telling them what this company was doing and the airline refunded me my money.

“This company is a scam. I booked a round trip and the dates got switched when I selected confirm so I got flights for a time not aligning with my dates of travel. No one was willing to help me and to top it off, I authorized a payment of $450 for my flights when I confirmed. I have now been charged double the amount, throughout six seperate transactions, and no one is willing to help get my money back.
