“Great idea but disappointing when items where receved”

“I ordered some of your Glitter Flip lipsticks, which after receiving today I love. I am really not happy with the customer service though. I understand that this time of year is hard, but after paying £15 for the product I wish I hadn’t bothered. If you can’t handle the Christmas sales, don’t have one. Don’t say it will take 2-3 days to post (which I had to pay for by the way) when it takes a lot longer than that. I was also stunned to find that customer services was shut, even though the website and social media accounts were running and were kept up to date. I know that sadly I am one of many, who too have been disappointed and ignored. Ciaté you have lost me as a costumer! I am not happy with the service at all!”

“My item never arrived. Hermes was the delivery company and I think very poorly on companies who use Hermes as they already have an atrocious reputation!”

“They deliver using Post Office Signed for, and as I was out I had to go to the post office the next day. Why is a small parcel "Signed for". If so why don't they use a proper carrier where you can tell them when you are in .”

“First of all, get my name right. I have a double Harrell surname, I am sick of people (usually companies) dropping the second part of it and addressing me incorrectly. Secondly, delivery time was awful, it took over a week to be dispatched and then another week until it arrived and was falsely signed for. It was delivered to my business address which is closed on a Saturday yet I received an email on the Saturday saying it had been signed for and delivered (it hadn't, it turned up on Monday). Finally the actual product is nowhere near as glittery as the adverts made out and 2 of them do not flip at all which means only 3 out of 5 work and poorly at that.”

“Poor customer service. Items took much longer than 2-3 days to come once dispatched. Emailed, tweeted and Facebooked with no response. Appears lots of people were having the same issues. Unable to track through Royal Mail. Couldn’t find a phone number. When I did, spoke to someone who was very nice but promised to email and they didn’t...surprise.”

“I bought the "Mini Mani Month 2018" as an advent calendar - I'm sure many others do. I bought it on 21st November, paying for courier delivery. It was finally planned to be delivered on 1st December, sone 11 days later - not exactly helpful to give for advent. When I talked to Ciate customer services I was told they'd been really busy (what a surprise) and that they hoped (!) I'd get an early delivery slot on the 1st. They did absolutely nothing to help. Well, at 6:30pm on a Saturday evening (1st Dec) it still hadn't arrived. We left for the weekend. Apparently, some time later, it was delivered to a neighbour. I didn't get to give the gift on time. I didn't expect advent to be a surprise to Ciate or for it to take 11 days to ship with a paid for courier service. Totally let down. Don't use them if you want to receive your goods in a timely manner nor if you expect them to react to problems. As for the calendar - well, it's a pile of nail polishes of varying shades and types. They're so varied that it's very likely that you won't like quite a few and some you will.”
