Cliff and Pebble is amazing! I bought a few grinders from them and it's always a great process. I had a few issues with some of the grinders as well but customer service was awesome and they fixed it right away. Can't recommend enough!

My experience with Cliff and Pebble has been poor. I ordered a grinder from them and it never shipped. I sent three emails and did not receive a reply. I tried calling and their system just told me to send an email (no option to speak to anyone). I tried their chat and it also said to send an email. It is the worst customer experience I think I've ever had with an online retailer and it even has me wondering whether the company is a scam. I do not recommend.

Hi Brian, We’re genuinely sorry that this experience left you feeling frustrated — that’s never our goal, and we take feedback like this seriously. We do want to clarify for anyone reading that we did respond to each of the emails sent regarding this order. Our replies were sent on multiple dates, but it appears they did not reach you, likely due to email filtering. We even asked for confirmation of receipt in our final message, as we were concerned our responses weren’t getting through. The grinder you ordered experienced a short, unexpected delay due to a shipment issue at the border, which we communicated as soon as we were made aware. At no point was there any intent to mislead, and we absolutely are not a scam — Cliff & Pebble is a small, independently owned business that has served thousands of customers over the past decade. That said, we fully understand how the combination of a delay and missed communication would feel unacceptable from your perspective. Once you requested cancellation, we were happy to process it immediately and have sent you another message (that we hope you will receive!) confirming your cancellation. Great price for DF54 v2, shipped promptly as well. On receiving noticed issue with the product before first use. Reached out to them and were prompt to exchanged the product with v3. Love that they have 365 return policy in case anything goes wrong. Highly recommended.

Updated review: The owner reach out directly to get my feedback after the review, he personally helped expedite the response from Lelit and received my new machine pretty soon after that. This shows commitment from them and that is why I'm revising the rating. The owner also indicated he will make sure the guidelines are followed so they can help clients with claims to OEM. Original review: I’m not happy at all, I received the espresso machine damaged and you just passed on the responsibility to Lelit, which are not responsive at all. I’ve submitted my claim 1 week ago and I’m still waiting for an answer. I wish you could get more involved and help your clients with claims to the OEM.

Hi Marco, We’re truly sorry to hear about the condition your machine arrived in and understand how frustrating this experience has been. Because this order shipped directly from the manufacturer, any freight damage claims must be opened and processed directly with them, which is why we advised you to create a support ticket with Lelit. That said, we absolutely do not “pass the responsibility.” We remain involved and actively follow up with the manufacturer to push for resolution. Unfortunately, this time of year brings significantly higher ticket volume for manufacturers, which can slow response times. We agree that a week is longer than anyone would like, and we apologize for the delay you’ve experienced. Please know we’re continuing to advocate for you behind the scenes and will keep pressing for an update until this is resolved. Our goal is always to make sure our customers are taken care of, even when a claim requires manufacturer involvement. If you’d like, feel free to reach back out to us directly and we’ll be happy to provide the latest status.

Love love love Cliff and Pebble!! Let’s see my Elizabeth came perfect, warranty and return policy is the best in the industry… I can upgrade within the year if I wanted too and everything is priced competitively. How can you not shop here!!!

I ordered and received a new Lelit Mara X from Cliff & Pebble. Phenomenal service and support. Very highly recommended. Much better experience than the big name online prosumer espresso machine companies that I have dealt with several times in the past.

Its only been a short time with this machine, but my initial impressions are that it is incredible on its own and even more spectacular considering the price point. The joystick steam/water controls are a beautiful luxury, and the fit and finish is top notch. My biggest hesitation with this purchase is that there is no parts list and the user manual is pretty limited for an appliance of this caliber. I reached out to see if there may be a parts list from Turin, and never heard back. Even though this is an incredible value, I would feel better knowing Turin had a parts list to help with repairability if the situation arises. Even with my Rocket/Ascaso machines, I kept spare parts and had ordered items to fix and maintain these machines.

Cliff & Pebble has a fantastic selection, and their personalized customer service is truly excellent. I originally ordered a DF64 grinder that was out of stock everywhere with a long delivery window, and Matt went out of his way to rework my order so I could switch to an in-stock option for quick delivery. Great communication, smooth process, and a company that genuinely takes care of its customers. Highly recommend!

My espresso machine that I've had for years started failing, and after tons of research I decided on the Lelit Bianca V3. Found the exact model I wanted on Cliff & Pebble. I reached out to the team and asked some questions, and was promptly given all the answers I could ever need and decided to order it from them. The machine arrived today (earlier than originally scheduled!) in a very nicely packaged box, no dents or scratches. The machine is in perfect condition. They've made a customer for life!

Received my Lelit as expected and on time. Their customer support was exceptionally quick and helpful. I ended up using their 90 Day price guarantee since the device went on sale just a couple weeks after my purchase. It requires a support claim but it was quick and easy!
