It was ok apart from trying to sell me more insurance. All I wanted to do was cancel my policy. And the cancellation fee was quite high

JW5 was pleasant and efficient Just really upset that it cost £60 to change my address on my policy I moved 0.2 miles It doesn’t pay sometimes to be honest

MG9 was very efficient with my Live Chat call today and helped me progress my query. However, in general, Live Chat is very laborious - it would be quicker and less frustrating if there was a telephone line to call & speak to One Call staff directly for general queries.

TD2 refunded a £24 charge for reporting a medical change that i was charged this "admin fee".

I had a problem with sending my Proof of “No Claims Bonus” the cancellation letter from my previous insurer was not sufficient proof and was an incorrect format, which I didn’t understand! After speaking with Rylie, the issue was resolved, I had to contact my previous insurer who subsequently sent me an acceptable ncb, which I forwarded on my One Call portal.

AR6 was pleasant on the chat line...but couldn't give me a better quote and gave me a telephone number which, frankly I'm dreading ringing because I know now it will take forever to be connected! I tried half the afternoon to find a relevant telephone number for One Call Insurance myself and failed miserably. As a customer who (at the moment) has both car and home insurance with yourselves, a far better service would be provided by being able to speak to someone properly, rather than going backwards and forwards via a keyboard!

I was shocked to read that my renewal was approximately 2.5 times more expensive than what I paid last year, despite not making a claim for almost 3 years and being a long time customer. Thankfully after live chatting with representative JC5 a much more reasonable and sensible quote was provided to account for the industries claims that all their costs are up, despite lower inflation (well according to the government and media) and the end of the supply chain issues of the past. Anyway faith restored somewhat with One Call and worth contacting them should you also be surprised by any sky high renewal quote.

Excellent service once I got around to finding what to do online. I was frozen on screen several times and it hasn't been easy contacting a live chat agent. However, once contact was made I managed to obtain some advice. Regards, Trevor

The operator was as expected trying to keep the policy open. The costs were ridiculous and no phone line to speak with anyone, not good! Also why put telephone in this review when you’ve closed down!

Received very good customer service from Leah about home insurance renewal. Our renewal quote was almost 82% more than last year, which was rediculous. Sensible renewal quotes to current customers would I'm sure prevent most loyal customers from new searchs to beat unnecessary inflated price rises. My new quote with Leahs intervention, was more exceptable preventing myself to renew elsewhere. Think about this skewed policy you have, for all your customers, now and in the future.

The process is too long winded even though the process is fairly straight forward, however I have no complaints with regards to the communications as such.

After trying both phone and live chat services over last three days unsuccessfully, I managed to get to talk to someone today.She managed to find a cheaper rate for my renewal.

GG1 was very helpful, even though she was unable to insure my n ew car for me but my contact with her followed a long on line session trying to use your portal. I am very familiar with computer systems, having owned a computer (such as it was) since 1979. I can safely say that the system I have experienced today is the most counter intuitive one I have ever encountered.
