“I ordered 2 new mini ovens 3 weeks ago, the tracking system of their delivery company Yodel said the items were with them?? As I haven't received them I have contacted Coopers by phone, email and via their online web portal without any feedback t all. Today I have spoken to their customer services dept who advised they have picked up on the error sent me 1 out despite me ordering 2!!! Lets see what arrives but so far customer service atrocious”

“Bought 2 halogen heaters,"buy 1 get 1 free offer" back in 2014. 1 of the heaters we used since then,the 2nd one was set aside as a standby until 10 days ago when we started to use it. After a few days one of the elements failed. I sent an email to Coopers explaining the above. Their inconsiderate reply said sorry but not interested in helping ,unit out of guarantee no discretion used .I have been a customer for many years but no longer. Sam”

“Bought a dog gate/partition from them , it was the best price from the Internet , delivery was free in the price , good quality Product , but only suitable really for small dogs about the size of Yorkshire terrier , found the company to be really quick on the delivery as they stated it arrived on time , would recommend this company. “The quality of the items, and the service, was beyond appalling. I returned an expensive item that simply did not work. I had to pay the postage to return it, and I have never had any response or refund since. I would say to anyone thinking of buying anything from Coopers of Stortford ... Save yourself a lot of time and money, buy it from Amazon, at least Amazon's goods actually work, and Amazon's customer service is excellent. Unlike Coopers of Stortford. Their catalogue goes straight in the rubbish bin now.”

“We had a faulty product (a mincer some 10-11 months old) which needed replacing. No questions asked, a replacement was sent - cannot fault their communications or customer service.”

“Take order do not inform when out of stock until you query why item has not arrived. they claim spend over £15 get free postage not true you are sent a £5 voucher but must spend over £25 to claim this and must use within two weeks Will not use this firm again.”

“i bought the ceramic car heater 12volt because one review said it was a good product, and that it would clear car window from condensation, my car heaters playing up, thats why i bought the car heater, also the picture shown on website makes the car heater look bigger than it actually is. the product is a waste of money, ive thrown the car heater in the rubbish bin. to any one wonting to buy car heater from coopers please dont bother you will regret it.”

“ordered a Falcon bird scarer as have been plagued by seagulls and jackdaws from 5am ,thought I'd try your product and since I put it on the shed roof in the garden there has been a conspicuous absence of the "racket" . thanks very much .”

“Over the past few years we have purchased 5-7 cree torches from you....after a relitivly short period of time they fail. They are kept indoors just to check the driveways and back gardens. We did try to state this but were told they were out of warranty each time. If we have bought 5-7 and each had a years guarantee that is in total 7 years ago!!! Why you did not replace them we will never know. As we achieved NOTHING by contacting you we did not continue with the query. But as I am moving now I have just found another dead one that failed.... These are faulty. Do not buy. The Cree torch is the blue pistol grip item.”

“put order in over 8 days ago for lanterns no mention that they where out of stock when order was placed money went out the next day via pay pal just phoned coopers they were out of stock when i placed my order and not due back in stock till the end of july the money according to the web page should not of gone out until items where dispatched had to ask for manager to get refund back wont be using this company again”

“purchased pebble strips for the garden which i was happy with so purchased more to complete the project. however upon coming to the end of the box noticed 2 of these strips were much lighter and contained fewer pebbles. after a costly 10 minute wait on the phone to customer service told to return full box when i pointed out it was only two strips needed replacing and the others are now glued down was told by the operator i should check these things before starting. needless to say i wont ever purchase from them again”

“7 reviews Published 2 seconds ago Just Lousy Customer Service I have now purchased five products from Coopers of Stortford. All products were over the UK£15-00 requirement for free postage. Three of the purchases were with a discount free postage voucher???? And still I have been charged the postage for each article at UK£4-99p. On all purchases i queried the postage, (via eMail) got a reply being looked into but never received an acknowledgement or explanation? I think - no! I know; this will be my last purchases from Coopers of Stortford.”
