“I used curology for 6 months and for the first 2 months it seemed to be working pretty good on my acne. But recently my forehead has been breaking out like never before and I’m assuming it is from this product because nothing else has changed in my habits. I honestly do not recommend this product.”

“Even tho i dont have so many problems with skin, i decided to give a shot, got a trial, n I've been using it for around 2 weeks. Only before bedtime n yesterday my special mixture finished, i opened the bottle n saw that even bottle itself is pretty big, the amount of cream is like 1.8 part of the size of bottle Got so disappointed...didn't really see that much difference so can't say about actually does it work or no”

“I tried Curology after seeing the ads offering the free trial, and had such high expectations because of the raving reviews. However, I’m sad to say that not only did it fail to help my skin, it actually gave me new skin problems I’ve never had before in my life. Keep in mind that (1) I’ve never had particulary sensitive skin, and (2) I didn’t change anything in my skincare routine or lifestyle, other than starting to use the Curology cleanser, formula and moisturizer. Soon (the day after) after starting it, my skin dried out to the point where it would actually hurt and very visibly flake. I would have to moisturize heavily multiple times a day to minimize it, which I’ve never had to do before. Even after stopping all Curology products, I’m still having lingering issues that I can only attribute to Curology because it was the only variable that changed in terms of my skin. Needless to say, I was more than disappointed with this service. They market their products as being gentle, which I’ve found is NOT the case at all. I would recommend stating away and going with more established and trustworthy brands.”

“Too much work. We have an overflow of product. You can't return it. You're charged to ask questions, after your few that are free. My bank account keeps getting deducted. It may work for some, but we're too busy and it's too much work to keep up with. Not for us.”

“Curology is AWFUL. Regardless of their product. I have been attempting to cancel the subscription for months and have not been able to get through to them. You can't call because they have no phone number. You email, and they send an email back saying they've received it and will respond soon, but you never hear back. You try to cancel the subscription through the website? It re-routes you back to the home page and half the time their site doesn't even load. Curoloy is a nightmare you can't get rid of. Not worth the product. I'm not having to dispute the charges through my bank, and I may even have to cancel my credit card, just to get rid of this ridiculous fraud of a company.”

“I wish I had done more research on this product before trying it, because it was not a fit for me. My skin is very sensitive. My major issues were clogged poors, fine lines, oiliness and cystic pimples on my chin. My first and strongest formulation gave me massive cystic pimples and a huge rash around my eyes. I hated putting on the cream because it burned and made my face itch. I tried all of their precautions, tips, tricks and stipulations before requesting another formulation. My second formulation didn’t cause a rash but the massive cysts continued. Same tips and tricks. At this point my skin developed a bumpy texture and looked enflamed all the time. So itchy and burning. My third formulation was the last chance and it didn’t pass the test. Still so much burning, breakouts and inflammation. Currently my skin is wrecked. I still have lumps and bumps all around my mouth, all over my chin and my forehead feels like gravel. I’ve never used so many pimple patches. I’m blowing through packs of them to aid my huge pimples in healing. I’ve limited all skin care down to gentle face wash and moisturizer. I understand that there is a purging process, but for me, that process in combination with itching, burning and rashes was totally unmanageable. I hope my skin heals soon with gentle care but I’m going to need professional help to recover from this. Overall this was an expensive mistake. I miss my old skin. Ot wasn't perfect, but it was much better than this. Now I’m just embarrassed.”

Hi Violet! So sorry to hear that Curology didn't work. I know that is so frustrating. While we work for many, Curology might not be the perfect fit for everybody. We sincerely hope you find something that does work for you!

“My consultant never listened to me. I broke out badly and even developed cystic acne, which I never got prior to curology. She just told me to be patient because it was part of the "purging." I waited 3 months. I sent in pictures. She just didnt seem to care. I kept getting the same responses and she seemed to assume I was at fault because she also kept asking if I was using the products correctly. I followed the instructions to a T! Every single time I messaged her (which costs you points btw), she gave me a variation of "you might be using too much" (I wasnt the bottle lasted me longer than a month because I only used one pump per application), "your face was probably not thoroughly dried" (it was properly dried because I followed her instructions and waited 20 minutes after washing my face to apply), or "it may be hormonal and I can't prescribe you anything for that. You need to talk to your primary doctor." Anyway, I cancelled my subscription, picked up some salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide products, and my skin is now 300% better. No thanks to curology.”

“I started using Curology and shortly after, my skin broke out horribly in pimples on my forehead which I haven’t had since high school, and I developed a burning, itching rash all over my neck and chest. I messaged my consultant and she basically told me to push through it and that it would probably get better. My skin was so much better before Curology and when I threw it away and went back to my regular skincare routine, the rash went away after about a week and taking steroid pills to calm it down, and my breakouts subsided. Don’t try Curology, it will hurt your skin!”

“Curology made me breakout so much. Similar to some here, it seem to have worked the first two or three weeks and then the “purging” started. It was until 6 weeks in that I’m noticing that this purging is never ending and my consultant just continued to give me the typical copy paste response. I don’t know how else I’m recovering from this because this has been the worst breakout I’ve had and I got acne, dark spots, and skin irritation because of this. The consultants and NOT professional at all because I do not feel like my product was personalized nor did they pay attention to my progress when I submit my photos. They should have noticed how much worse it has gotten and not shove it off easily as purging because it continued endlessly. Curology ruined my skin and my self confidence. I feel so self conscious now especially when it literally looks like there’s an ants nest on my side profile and I can’t help but look down or always hide it.”

“My "personalized" bottle made my skin burn. I made it very clear that my skin is sensitive, but they didn't listen! It also had such a bad smell that it gave me a headache until 5 am. I had to wash it off my face and take ibuprofen just to sleep! Just terrible. If you are extremely sensitive to smells and topicals like I am, then do NOT get Curology.”

Hi Tabitha, I apologize that this was your experience with Curology. We do not add any fragrance to our products as that can be very irritating for some skin types. “Curology is not for everyone. They warn about “purging” but within two weeks my face was FULL of cystic acne. I went from having superficial Whitehead’s around to being so humiliated to even go outside. I believe it might work for some, but I strongly encourage you see a professional dermatologist before trying some of these active ingredients. I now have to buy some expensive products to calm down and heal my skin after curology. They were able to cancel my subscription quickly and they do have great customer service which is nice. Sadly this was not for me!”

I hate to hear that Curology did not work for you. While Curology does help with a variety of skin concerns and for many people, I do understand it might not work for everyone. “I was so excited to try this product out, and to possibly end my acne forever! But oh, I was so wrong. After a whole month of using this, I developed acne like I never had before. It was internal pimples that hurt when I moved my face. The cleanser, moisturizer, and the medication made my face SUPER oily! My face would soak up two oil sheets when before that I typically used less than one! I honestly should get a refund for it ruining my face, I am still recovering from it two months later. Curology is a scam!”

“I was on this product for almost 2 years and my main concern was brown spots, this product never helped my brown spots and I did not see any difference with acne. Also when I put my account on hold they failed to notify me later after hold time they sent another package to me charging me. They should notify the customer and confirm if I want to be off hold.”

“the product kind of works I guess, but that is besides the point. I was told my card was inactive by Curology and that I would HAVE to update my card to get my next shipment, I obviously assumed they would not be charging my card until I updated it, and not to mention I tried canceling once before, but they still shipped and CHARGED me 40$ for a new bottle that im literally not going to use and now they are telling me that they CANT cancel or refund your purchase even before its been delivered to my house??? not even store credit or anything? like I don't even have the item in my hand and I still can't get a refund or have THEM cancel it. I don't even understand how the item would be defective if I haven't even laid my eyes on it yet....and keep in mind this is THE DAY OF that they shipped the item to me....”

“if you have clear skin and are looking for a product that will keep break outs away invest in a new product. my skin was clear and is getting worse and is even starting to have skin that’s coming off. on top of that i have another bottle being sent to me right now and i wish not to continue it but your not aloud to return. very disappointed about how this product is working for my skin and wish i never started. i just want my money back.”
