I had 6 engineer visits in total to fix a dishwasher. The last engineer was the same as the first. The first time he came round, he refused to do any work and said that the dishwasher was not accessible. The second said he 'almost' fixed it, the 3rd said he fixed it (lied). The 4th couldn't be bothered and ordered an extra part that had nothing to do with the problem. The 5th tried and left - telling KNOWHOW he had fixed it (lied). I would never use this service again for anything. The whole process took several months and I am still left with a broken dishwasher.

We had a washing machine on order for delivery, installation & disposal of the old one. After waiting 3 hours into my 4 hour time slot they arrived with the new washer. The guys went to the kitchen pulled out the old washer and said that the water valve was broken and that we needed to call a plumber out to fix it, and because of that they wouldn't be doing he installing or collection. They were in my house for less than 5 mins to decide all this and then left me with 2 washing machines. I rang a plumber and paid a £50 call out fee ... the water valve was fine and not even slightly broken. he said all they would have had to do was ask me to turn off the water from the stop, the plumber suggested it looked like the guys who delieverd it couldnt be bothered so left it as my problem. he installed the machine within 5 mins and said it was as easy as that. No new parts or valves needed!! I rang the company to complain and got a rude response. They said the guys who INSTALL washing machines are NOT plumbers or even slightly trained in plumbing so if they ASSUME something is wrong they have every right to not fit it. They refunded their cost of installation but wouldn't refund the cost of the removal of the old machine as a good will gesture seeing as I they had made me pay out ANOTHER £50. How can you have untrained people installing machines that require basic plumbing. Absolutely disgusting we will never use them ever again. Please avoid it if at all possible.

I bought an expensive Samsung fridge freezer (FF). It had a problem which resulted in a replacement FF. Great and actually managed ok by Samsung. New FF arrived with a damaged fridge door. I accepted that they(Samsung) could replace the door. New door arrived and was fitted but when seen on completion it was the wrong doo, it had a completely different handle and didn't fit correctly. Ok so we will replace the door again. Door arrived but it was a freezer door to match the ill fitting fridge door. I stated I didnt want it and stated I wanted a new FF. Lots of calls with Samsung I eventually got to the bottom of it when Samsung told me the 30 days was up. Currys didnt notify Samsung regarding the second door or the wrong freezer door. They tried to be smart and give me one wrong door and then tried to match the wrong door up with a freezer door. I have been promised everything but nothing ever happens. Currys are an appaulling company with no regard for customer service or care. They are a poor third party between the manufacturer and the customer and will do anything to avoid taking responsibility for faulty goods. They work as if the law does not apply to them and keep[ their employees in the dark. Given they are par tof the Dixons group it says the same for all the management of the business. The issue is still unresolved but it will be soon as I take further action by going to court over it. My advice to anyone who has an alternative local source for appliances use them even it is a bit more expensive. At least there you have a contact who you can talk to and who can make a decision.

1. Purchased a washing machine. Asked to phone me 1/2 before as no one lives at the house at time of delivery. Was assured part of their service was to phone before. No phone call was made. Item delivered but no one there to collect had to wait another week before delivery - made no attempt to help out even though it was there error. 2. Purchased a fridge (despite the above giving them the benefit of the doubt and that this was a once off). I used gift cards to pay for the fridge. Despite gift cards being allocated against purchase the order was not placed. I had to chase up the order. I was told I had to reorder even though they took money off my card. It took 4 working days before I was credited on my gift card so therefore could not repurchase for 4 days in the meantime the item was sold out. There was no attempt to put through an order despite they had taken my money. 3. Fridge finally was delivered - Item damaged as it was being delivered - no apologies. Said I would have to wait for a new one and there was none in stock at the moment. Told I had to ring customer service which I did on the Friday night. I was promised someone would return my call on Saturday. No call forthcoming. I have emailed and phoned and now on Tuesday I have been told delivery will not be until 1st October and there were 35 orders so I would have to wait. Currently on hold with customer service who will not give me a managers name. Would not put me through to a manager and all I could do was put in a complaint. I was given a complaint number and then told only he could help. If he could help why does he need a complaint form. How can I get to speak to someone in the company who is concerned about customer service.

Their Knowhow appliance installation service is very expensive, yet I had a kitchen appliance wrongly installed, and have had two cancelled appointments since trying to get it rectified. Simple advice, - if you have any choice whatsoever, do NOT use this dreadful service.

Sent my Samsung top of the range 3d tv for fix by currys knowhow for it only to come back not fixed.had samsung check themselves an they confirmed it wasn't fixed Know how refused to send samsung the engineers report. So I refused a second repair and insisted on replacement. Been waiting for tv to be sent back to shires retail park leamington Spa store as Dean the deputy manager( then next day hiss assist Dave) refused to give new tv till their own repair centre physically sent back to them.No loan tv offered or Appologies just a shrug of shoulders and advice to contact citizens advice by Dean ! Tried calling deliveries but keep getting run around since Wednesday. Worst store service and tech centre constantly lying. And to top it I raised a complaint with customer services but still waiting a call from a manager.WILL DEFINITELY NOT USE LEAMINGTON SPA STORE CURRYS AGAIN WORST SERVICE EVER.

To cut a long story short. Purchased an expensive washing machine along with other white goods. This was installed as per manufacturer instructions. Upon trying the machine for the first time it would not work properly. So throughout the day I spent most of the time on the phone to the manufacturer in Korea troubleshooting. They were unable to resolve (saying 'it not work right') and said it needed to be returned to the seller - Currys. We then tried to reject and return the item (which was brand new and well within 30 days of purchase). I was repeatedly fobbed off by Currys so called 'customer service' back to the manufacturer. They refused return and refused to get any manager and claimed they had no complaints procedure. We had been looking to exchange for another make but obviously will not do this with Currys now. This company has total disregard for its customers and the law, in this case - The Consumer Rights Act 2015. We apparently now have to take further action just to get a refund. Truly awful. Avoid at all costs.

I would advise anyone who is buying from currys to pay with a credit card so you can cancel the payment when things go wrong. I have just had a delivery of a new smug dishwasher. The door does not sit right on the base and is wonky. I have asked for it to be replaced. My contract is with currys not with smug currys are refusing to do anything untill they speak to smug. I am disgusted I am not asking for my money back just the item replacing with a faultless one .which is what I have paid for. The people on the phone are like robots spewing out the information they are told to say over and over again. I question whether they are acting within the law as I have a purchase contract with currys not with smug I want it replacing as a matter of urgency

Bought an LG washing machine. I've never heard anything so loud and destructive. Damaged fridge freezer next to it. Sold as a silent machine. I live in a six bedroom house. The whole place shaking and disrupted by this new purchase. Deeply disappointed.

If only I could rate as - star... bought an expensive set of headphones £300, after having them replaced twice they failed gain. They were sent off for repairs which I was told would be one week. Two months later they were unable to locate my headphones when I went in to the store, Old Kent Road London I was told I would have to come back? It transpires there is no time limit were by your product has to be repaired of relaxed by... This seems unfair for the consumer and needs to be redressed.

Ordered a Samsung add washing machine only for the delivery guys to bring it out there can without a box and for them to damage it bringing it in phoned up delivery service for to be told a new one would be out the next day. Once the guys brougt the knew washing machine I was told they couldn't touch the other one as it was leaking from the pipe at the back which the first lot of delivery guys damaged only to phone up to be told that I needed to get a umber myself and that I had to phone later that day to tell them that I had the problem sorted and they also damaged my kitchen floor. They eventually brought the 3rd washing machine on the Saturday and trying to speak to anybody regarding the faults with the delivery driver it's like talking to yourself don't think I will ever use currys delivery service again as its a rip of

Went online on Monday 4th of August and ordered an American style fridge freezer. Delivery men arrived on Tuesday afternoon walking in with a tape measure and told me the item wouldn't fit didn't even take it off the van and left 2 minutes later. Went to local currys store to look at alternatives to be told by the sales person why didn't they take the doors off or even attempt delivery. So I rang customer services to be told the same thing they should have taken the doors off and delivered the item. I then found that delivery company are a third party company and paid by delivery so more deliveries more money. They didn't want to spend the time taking the doors of my fridge. I rang at 6.30pm to get my order re delivered on Wednesday the 3rd was told it would definitely be delivered and that they would take the doors off only to find when I get up this morning and checked on the website that I need to contact customer services. I rang them straight away to be told that the depo had cancelled my order which they shouldn't be able to do. So no fridge freezer was on order to be delivered at all let alone today. Have reordered my fridge freezer with another customer services rep that once again couldn't understand why they did take the doors off or even attempt delivery.I think that's what makes it even worse when you have the customer services team completely agreeing with you makes it even harder to understand why I don't have my fridge freezer in my house not sitting in a depo somewhere. I am not holding out hope that I will ever get this fridge freezer from currys will probably end up having to get it from ao or argos. If I don't that's 3 days waiting around for nothing. Can't belive how poor the customer services is. Will be ringing at 7.50pm tonight to check if my item is still on order don't have any faith on currys anymore and will never ever ever order anything from them ever again.

I bought an iPad mini and declined the Knowhow Care Plan. I didn't sign the direct debit form, the person at Currys crossed it through infront of me. Knowhow, part of the Dixons Group, debited the credit card I had used to purchase the iPad without my permission and without notifying me beforehand. I phoned and they told me it would take 28 days to send a cancellation letter and refund the money. This is a blatant attempt to mislead and defraud.

Customer care plan was so far below zero it's laughable. Please think on anyone who might want to purchase anything from currys. There are other more reliable options. I'll never use them again. Absolutely terrible

Washing machine not working waited 3 days then engineer told me he'd been given wrong info from the people I phoned and couldn't fix for another 5 days. Absolutely shocking for a family of 6 and no way to wash our clother. The engineer didn't give a toss and neither did Knowhow when I rang to complain. Was told the while insides needs replacing. I asked for a new one. Can't do is what they all said. Wish I'd never bothered taking out this extra so called insurance. Never again !!!

ordered an expensive Smeg gas hob, on line, that was delivered damaged and I mean damaged. OK these things happen. what happened next was diabolical. having spent over 3 hours on the phone over two week trying to get a replacement I finally gave up, cancelled my order and went else where, which I strongly recommend anyone else does. I was fobbed off, promised return calls, that never happened, and the final straw was the lies. I was even refused access to speak to a senior member of staff to deal with my complaint/issue. Never again will I order from Curries. I find out yesterday, that my uncle had a similar issue a couple of months ago, so not an isolated incident. Unless you can go in store touch it, examine it and take it away, don't bother. Life is to short
