Baught a GoPro session from Currys Romford and it had some missing parts. Called currys 3 times and they told me that I can go to any store fore a replacement as long as I have my receipt. I went to Stratford storer were I was told I have to go to Romford as only they can help me. In the end I wasted hafl of my day and couldnt get a replacement as the store closed.

Went to the curry's branch in Milton Keynes today for a combination microwave. The guy who was assisting with our attempted purchase, told us he had none in stock,he could not order for us and we could not order ourselves as it was not an online order. The only advice he could offer is we drive to Bedford. Wow.. John Lewis gained the sale due to their excellent customer service, manners and communication skills.

To rate the service as a one star is to good, I went in store the Scarborough branch to enquire about Kindles. The first lady we spoke to could not answer many of our questions which is ok but did not even offer the find out for us, we had to ask her to ask another member of staff who did help with some. I tried to explain to the lady i wanted to buy films on amazon but be able to watch them when i have no wifi and if this was possible? she did not know and must have spoken to a supervisor. We went to look at the mirco sd cards when i needed to ask another question, i approached the supervisor named Chris who said in reply to my question- well you have already bothered 2 members of my staff - one of which informed me of your intentions - he then said you do know it is illegal to download films.... he was so rude and unhelpful and seen as that was deffinatly not my intention i was quite upset and left without making a purchase. Chris refused to move from his spot to help me with the Kindles and said I was looking for something that they do not sell. I have made an offcial complaint over the phone informing that i want to make a purchase but i am not happy to go back in store so they said they would come back to me within 48 hours, 6 days later i call back to hear they have sent me a 10quid voucher that can only be speant in store. when i asked to speak to a supervisor/manager the gent on the phone point blank refused. I have given up on Currys, will never shop from them again. This story has been shortened somewhat and I simply cannot explain how small they made me feel but more importantly i felt like a pure inconvienience as a customer.

Washing machine had a leak. Engineer came and misdiagnosed the problem. He said it was the detergent dispenser that was blocked. He ordered a part and another date was set. 2nd engineer came and said the problem was a hole in the seal. He made the hole much bigger and could not fit it back on properly. He also broke the detergent dispenser and damaged the pvb so that the machine could not work. Cut a long story short we now have a new machine as old one written off. Today the cooker packed in.......

Bought a Humax FVP-4000T Freeview recorder from Currys which failed after 5 months. I took it to back Currys who contacted Humax. They asked for it to be shipped back to Humax who said they would replace it. One week later, Currys said Humax had looked at it, and would replace it! Another week later I phoned again and they told me it hadn't even left their store because of the bank holiday! Calls to Currys and Humax have failed to locate my unit or give me any idea when it will be returned. I am at a loss as to what to do next? I will never buy anything from Currys again.

Quick Version - DO NOT EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM CURRYS. Without doubt, has to be the worst retail experience I have ever had I made an attempt to buy an American Fridge Freezer. I made it explicitly clear that I live in a three storey town house and therefore my kitchen is on the first floor. I was told that this was 'no problem at all', how wrong could I be. On the first delivery attempt, delivery was refused because the delivery guys were not spring chickens (as they told me), the second team also refused. Not only were the teams rude, they also pointed to dreadful disconnects between what the shops say and what actually might happen in real life. As if that wasn't bad enough, the process for obtaining a refund was cumbersome, difficult and the least customer friendly process I have ever encountered. The customer service staff do not want you to escalate anything and show a complete and utter lack of empathy. Each department comes across as disconnected from each other, their staff are nothing short of rude. The amount of time that has been required for my wife and I to sort this out cannot be underestimated. Seriously go somewhere else, I rarely if ever leave reviews but this has been so awful it has caused be to write a review. As Per my title and I apologise for shouting but DO NOT EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM CURRYS! If I could zero rate this experience, I would.

We ordered a washing machine for delivery on the Tuesday (the Wednesday was my mum's 88th birthday, so she wasn't keen to wait in for a delivery that day!). We'd paid for installation, and disposal - of the two delivery men, one spent most of his time playing with our dog, and asked if he could have a banana (not that we begrudge him a banana, it's just a bit odd), while the other one did the actual fitting. He put it on a short programme, then left before it had ended. An hour later, the machine was still full of water, which my mum eventually got to empty after studying the manual. She contacted the call centre, and after explaining several times and being asked if she wanted an engineer (no, just a machine that works and the installation we paid for), they agreed to send someone round the following day, thus ruining her birthday. Another couple of delivery men turned up, looked at the machine and said they couldn't do anything. My mum insisted she wanted a new machine, which, after some arguing with the office, they agreed to. A new delivery was booked in for the Saturday. At 7am on Saturday, another pair arrived and left at 10 past without having to unload the new machine - the original installer had left one of the bolts in the back. If the first man had done his job properly, this whole miserable hassle could have been avoided.

Customer service appalling to an 80 year old who was buying cooker in shop. Look the person in the eye & speak to them not the carer! Oven installed & oven faulty. An hour on the phone to Aftersales at KnowHow absolutely disgusting service. Avoid at all costs. Replacement oven coming out. Logic awful.

I went to 2884 Bexhill to purchase several items and have been appalled! • brought several items last Saturday. Stayed before I purchased that I needed a Saturday delivery slot. Carl assured me that this was not a problem on several occasions as they delivered in my area on a Saturday. So we purchased the items, however could not arrange a delivery day as one item was out of stock. • text to say items being delivered Tuesday. Called them to explain it had to be a Saturday, to be told they can not deliver to me on a Saturday. So I would need to cancel my order. After my husband comlaoned they agreed to deliver on Friday. My husband had to take today off work and drive several hundred miles to the house to receive the items as we are not there during the week. • several text during the week and a phone call yesterday confirming delivery. Text this morning to confirm delivery.... However as my husband was half way there they phone to say no delivery today as items out of stock!!!!! • offered alternative item at lesser quality for same price..... Declined • await delivery now hopefully next Sinday after being told they don't deliver to my area on weekends!!' This is a short version of the issue, and I expect to be compensated for the utter waste of my day and having to use two car to travel this distance. My receipt no is 012874 Please do not ask me to email a customer service department. You can resolve my issue here in public for totally wasting my day and show everyone how diabolical your customer service is

I spend nearly £2500 on a Sumsung 65Js8500 TV and a few weeks in it started turning off randomly all by itself. I spend the next week weeks turning off all of the ECO options, etc. but still it would go off. Spoke to Currys who said that because I had had it more than 30days it was not their problem and that I should speak to Samsung. Samsung have been even less helpful and never phone back when they say they are going too. This is getting very frustrating....Currys or Samsung NEVER again.

Apparently "We’ll unpack your product and dispose of the packaging for you." actually means we'll drop off the goods and then sneak off whilst you aren't looking leaving your appliance abandoned in the middle of the kitchen floor. Also, "Your email is important to us and we aim to get back to you as soon possible." can be roughly interpreted as we filled this email in the bin and shan't bother getting back to you!!! If you buy from Currys, you may get the cheapest price, but don't expect any backup.

Bought a cooker back in Feb. Faulty from the start. Had one visit from a repair guy last month who told us they should be able to get a part mid May. We have asked to return it a number of times. They want to fix it but after 3 months, they still haven't been able to do this. Changing a part won't fix the problem as it is due to a design flaw. You can't even get through the customer services to talk to anyone. Its infuriating and its disgraceful that they are getting away with this. Would not ever buy from Curry's again.

Don't use this company, stay at home and pull your own teeth out with pliers you'll get more satisfaction. I'm angry that I've had to give one star they don't deserve it, their pay and collect service is a disgrace their courier service from their hub is a shambles, go anywhere else, don't buy from here.

I bought a Zanussi Cooker hood on the 10.03.16 and had it delivered after i opened the box everything look ok but couldnt see for sure as the unit was a stainless one with white protective film on it to save it from getting scratched or dented when fitting. On the 29.04/16 i had the unit fitted and when i have unwrapped the film off the unit they was a dent covered over.I have phoned Currys and Zanussi only to be told i had only 48 hours to check the unit.I tried to explain you dont take the film off until the unit is fitted but got no joy or any understanding from both companies. Customer services on both companies shocking and will never buy from currys again.

I shall never use this company again. I bought a tumble dryer which went faulty after 3 weeks. By the time I got through to customer services they said it was 4 days over the 28 day period where it could be replaced, and would have to be repaired. I was given a date for repair which was 9 days after I called them. The repairman arrived late took one look and told me the cabinet was warped and he would have to order a strut to brace the cabinet. He could not get back to repair the machine for another two weeks. By the time he returns I will not have had use of the dryer for 22 days atrocious service
