Bought a computer that never worked. They took it back to repair and it came back working but jumping all over the place. They keep agreeing to do something and pulling out. They play with you.

I would give zero stars if the system would let me!!! I bought an item that I could have bought cheaper in 2 places but believing their motto "you can't buy cheaper" I bought from in-store. My bad of course as I should a). not be that trusting and b). have done my research before buying. Anyway, as I couldn't make it back to the store within 7 days decided to email customer services (within the 7 days) with a very simple request, i.e. I saw exact said item £20 cheaper in 2 stores (1 of which you actually said on your website was cheaper). Could you please provide a confirmation slip so that when I do go to the store I can claim the price difference back. Then the excuses started....can't find the purchase details or I can't investigate because of GDPR; your purchase was in-store not online so we can't do anything and you need to go to the store, etc. After approx 15 emails (equating to nearly a month time lapse) I've finally given up when they asked for the details yet again.... I really have got better things to do with my life then reply with the same information. I would seriously advise buying the item from elsewhere!!! Historically, I've always used Currys for the purchase of electrical items as they were always good on price. But never again...bitterly disappointed with their Customer Services and not surprised one bit in their very low rating on Trustpilot!!! Such a simple request to prove and make good but totally failed!!! This has really upset me and I'm the type of person that rarely writes reviews but, when I do, they are normally positive. Well done CurrysPCworld ....BUT for the wrong reasons :-(

Bought a 65” tv from Currys after having the set for less than 12 month it was returned due to a fault with the screen, it was returned then the same fault came back at 16 month, the tv was damaged in transit the first time which I have just found out and they never replaced the screen the first time (so they say) no joy off them for a repair. Would avoid this company totally.

DREADFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE !No promised e mail to inform me when to call and collect instore purchase of laptop, an in effective auto system that pushes you from pillar to post and then can,t even assist with an general enquiry, return to the store to find product couldn,t be located and charger missing, asked to return to store 30 minutes later as no staff available to assist with services already purchased and when I eventually got some assistance member of staff was also trying to assist another member of staff and customer with a problem !Will never set foot in another Currys ....utter chaotic company with little or no reguard for their customers.

My mother bought a new TV from the Caerphilly store, wasn't in stock, so was told it would be delivered in 3 to 5 days & the receipt would be sent by email. Got home, no email, the lad in store took it down wrong apparently, then found out he had also taken the telephone number down incorrectly too, she hasn't got a receipt either, now my mother can't find out when she will receive her new TV, the carrier doesn't know her phone number, also they want her to ring back next week to confirm what day the carrier will deliver. Just can't get the staff these days. Very poor unsatisfactory service.

Defect tumble dryer delivered, spent hours on the phone answering questions to automated system, waiting in line, being passed from person to person again and again, being chucked out, starting over again. Engineer booked, never turned up, same all over again. Never ever buy at Curry's, worst customer service I have ever experienced in my entire life!

Worst experience ever buying an appliance. Tumble dryer delivered and immediately faulty. Trying to ring helpline, automated system with endless questions chucks you out at the end! Called again giving different incorrect answers to automated system to try and speak to somebody, after over 1/2 hour of answering to the automated system and waiting in line speaking to somebody, who takes ALL my details, then transfers me, again I wait in line to then be asked exactly the same questions. An engineer visit gets arranged, I wait in all day, nobody turns up. I again ring helpline go through the same problems and waiting time, then speak to somebody, who immediately transfers me to Hoover, who have nothing to do with it and can’t help me. Again go through helpline with all the wait to get transferred again, this time to right person, who rearranges engineer visit. The line gets charged at 5p per minute and I must have spent at least 2 hours of my very valuable time on it! Let’s see, if engineer will turn up this time round. I will never ever buy anything with Curry’s again!

1st delivery of washing machine the Currys Team KnowHow did not know how to set the washing machine up and advised I needed a plumber. 2nd delivery the Currys Team Knowhow staff arrived but told me the washing machine had not been packed in their van. They also said it was broken. Helpline useless and supervisors are uncontactable as they hide behind their front line staff. Depot meant to call me back and did not. Helpline cannot call customers back . Now looking at John Lewis instead.

I went into Curry's PC World in Central Milton Keynes on a quiet Monday lunchtime last week, 13th January, with the intention of spending a considerable amount of money, approximately £1,000, on a brand new laptop. There seemed to be plenty of staff loitering about, far more than customers. I spent over half an hour browsing around at various laptops whilst nearby there remained clusters of staff in groups of three totally ignoring me, seeming more interested in talking about their private lives and what they had been getting up to. The fact that a potential customer was virtually next to them requiring possible assistance seemed irrelevant. Literally paid to do nothing it seemed. I deliberately decided to see just how long it would take anyone to actually start doing their job but alas I was ignored the entire time, despite spending considerable time viewing in the laptops area. I also noticed other customers being ignored completely too. I was quite shocked by such a low level of competence from staff at this branch. Infact if I had engaged with any of these staff I suspect it would have proved a waste of time anyway. None looked like they probably had a clue about anything in any knowledgeable depth and I could probably have told them more about the products having done a bit of prior research. I walked out of the store in disgust at the non existent service and the diabolical couldn't care less attitude that this store gave out. A potential £1,000 sale lost that day and I'm unlikely to use the website either and will go elsewhere rather than reward such a company as this. Keep antagonising customers like me with serious money to spend and you'll soon be out of business like so many others. Buck your ideas up Curry's PC World and sort your customer relations out rapidly! Later I went to the Apple Store nearby and the contrast was as big as you could get. Approached as I entered and spoken to politely and with knowledge by a lovely woman who had enthusiasm to show me heaps of interesting things. I left having spent £300. If they can do it so can you Curry's PC World, so change your company culture and wise up.

Appalling customer service. Ordered and paid for a washing machine with fitting. The guy turned up and didn’t fit it. Was huffed and puffed at down the phone before even giving the order number. Then argued with about the details. Refused to be put through to a manager, refused to be given a name. Worst service I’ve ever had from a company!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!

I ordered an oven from Currys PC World online a year ago, delivery was cancelled on the day with zero notice, forcing me to have taken a day off work for no reason. Almost a year later I decided to give them a second chance and orderd a new camera from them for delivery next day. The camera never arrived. Fool me once, and all that, I can never use this company again and would encourage anyone reading this to take their business elsewhere.

Dear Curry's,do you know exactly what your doing at all.You sent a dodgey fitter who incidentally didn't want to fit my new cooker and didn't citing various reasons,i got a gas fitter the next day and hey presto he installed it, and it took Curry's 2 weeks to refund my installation costs. On top of that you couldn't be bothered to answer my emails. You are one of the worst company's I have ever dealt with, and I will never purchase another item from you.

Steer clear of curry’s if ordering online, shambolic customer service!! Ordered drone online as it wasn’t available to collect from store, sort your selves out currys, small package and you don’t stock in store, product arrived damaged, retuned to store only to find that exchange wouldn’t be sent out until checked out at returns centre!! Really!! A week after arriving at returns centre and multiple calls to the customer service team I finally receive a full refund 2 weeks after returning product, absolutely appalling, will never use Curry’s again!!

Worst customer service ever. Lack courtesy and knowledge of stock items. Seem only interested in talking to young women. Will do all my shopping on Amazon from now on.

Was trying to purchase wireless headphones, ended up surrounded by 5 so called assistants, none of which claimed to be able to assist me. I was finally put to someone who was supposed to help me only to find her look on her tablet to tell us that the item we wanted was not on display, which we already knew. When we asked to look at the item which was in a locked cabinet, we were told that she could be sacked for letting us look at the item we were trying to purchase, hence we walked out!

Purchased a motherboard for £250. Chased them up after not hearing anything for 7 days. I was told someone would get back to me and no one did. After another week chased them up again to be told that they didn't have the item in stock. Complete waste of my time, inaccurate system particularly for a company selling computer products, rubbish customer services.
