AVOID AVOID AVOID !!!!!Got to be the worst customer care services known. Just come off the phone, after being put on hold for 17 minutes, and after the 4th attempt at getting through, to confirm the cancellation of a mandate for a repair and service I took out on a recently purchased computer from them. After repeating my postcode 3 times, along with my name etc I was told nothing was showing up and was promptly passed over to yet another automated response. Not impressed. As I have been in lengthy e mail correspondence with them since purchasing plus the fact Ive already informed them via e mail of my decision I fail to understand why its neccessary to confirm verbally also ?????Left hand not knowing what the right is doing springs to mind.Another e mail blasted off but not holding much hope that a simple request is actioned so further time and expense to be wasted ?They need to get their act together.

Will never buy from Currys again! I bought a Hotpoint fridge from Currys and took out a support agreement with them. I have paid this for almost 12 years now. The fridge door will no longer shut unless you lift the door to do so. (How many children will do this?) The engineer came and said it cannot be repaired as the plastic hinge is part of the main body of the fridge. So much for repair or replace! Have now been told, by Currys, it will not be replaced as the fridge still works, even though we have trouble shutting the door. The cause of this, apparently, is because we keep things like milk and jars in the fridge door!!

Extremely bad service with delivery. It was next day delivery and still after 5 days I’m waiting. They keep saying tmrw and they don’t turn up. They don’t deserve even one star. Absolutely rubbish

Avoid! Bought a TV that didn't last 7 months. The hassle with getting them to honour the repair insurance plan was horrendous. Then, after an agonising 2 weeks of waiting, it came back 'fixed'. After another 2 months, it went wrong again. TV was taken away for 'repair' and what followed was 3 weeks of agonising phone calls, never able to get through, calls never returned and the TV was deemed 'lost'. Utter chaos with people who constantly lied to us! Emails never returned. Complaints ignored. Live chat doesn't work! Finally had to buy a new TV with a £399 contribution from Currys and no apology!

My story is so similar to most on here - wish I'd seen this site before I bought Cooker from them. Paid 26 November but delivery 8th December. Installed but bottom oven kept blowing fuses in house. Electrician advised I get new machine as he could not take apart due to warranty etc. Catalogue of 20+ minute calls on hold or getting automated voice asking questions only to be then told "offices were closed"!! Fruitless trips to stores, endless emails which were all greeted with either automated response that they would respond in "x" days but "my custom was valued"!! Never got to speak to a real person until mid December (called from work) but he could not help as I did not have the PCN number (it is on oven) so back to end of queue!!. When I did get email responses the information was inaccurate either saying they "were glad matter was resolved" or confirming "your order was delivered on xxxx" so again clearly not looking at history or reading how frustrated I was as approaching Xmas and I had no oven!! Eventually contacted Zanussi (makers) direct and they managed to get someone out on Xmas Eve who fixed it but said he was surprised I had not simply been given a replacement as it was brand new and faulty - he thought he had been sent for a warranty repair. Biggest irony was when I bought cooker it was £20 more expensive than it was by the time I got a working oven but, as other people have stated. Currys do not care about that, they have the sale and that's all that matters. Had 2 other issues with "faulty" products from other suppliers (a tool and a shed part) from different companies but both dealt with the issue promptly and seemed to genuinely care about my customer experience - needless to say I will use those suppliers in the future but not Currys. Mistakes happen but we pay a premium to use a reputable supplier rather than a "cowboy" so that when this happens we get good after sales service. Currys and TeamKnowHow clearly did not get the training on this!!

Hopeless. Store is packed with everything but staff very few and far between. When I eventually managed to contact a member of staff, they hadn’t a clue about what they were selling and generally clueless. Won’t be going back!

After spending almost 5k in store i realised the tv we bought was £100 plus delivery cheaper online at a number of stores so i checked the price match guarantee and it said it would still price match upto 7 seven days after purchase. I went back to store to get my £150 or so refunded but found out that currys have a different colour stand on my tv ( which is going on the wall anyway) and wouldnt honour the pricematch because of this !!!! Still have lots to spend on electrical goods as ive just bought a new house ( more tvs washer dryer etc ) but will not be using currys again !! Just a con having a different colour stand so they can get away without pricematching ( the salesman even told me so !!!) Shop about and beware of model numbers with insignificant differences !!!

I bought a toaster online from Curry's in Nov 2019 and it developed a fault in Jan 2020 which tripped all the house fuses. Emailed Curry's with the original order last week and 5 days later I receive an email asking for information which I have already supplied (by the way for GDPR purposes!) I respond and receive another case number. Groan! Try to ring but they are always fabulously busy.

Words fail me with the customer service I have received! I reported a fault with my eight month old dishwasher in mid-November. I have had four engineer visits so far, the first three were spent mis-diagnosing the fault...and today’s visit was an engineer turning up with the wrong part! As I have been given an 8am until 6pm appointment (which is their norm) I have had to take countless hours off of work.... and still my dishwasher hasn’t been fixed! I have also lost count of the hours I have spent on the phone, my calls to the service centre calls that haven’t been returned and two complaint emails that haven’t been acknowledged! So, be warned! This is the worse customer service I have ever received. I would like to make a formal complaint for compensation for my wasted time and money, but I doubt anyone would answer the phone to listen to me anyway!

I purchased a Kenwood CK404 FS 90CM range cooker from currys pc world back on 27/08/2012 with 5 years extended warranty. And have been renewing my policy every year. I have got around 9 products on knowhow care plan, which i had them for years and been renewing on time. I was just going through my contracts as i knew that some of my products were due for its first care plan renewal and noticed that I have been missing paper work for the range cooker. Looked every where and can't seem to fine anything. I definitely sent the renewal document back to knowhow on their prepaid envelops. I vaguely remember last year after sending the renewal document back i had a problem with most of my direct debits with my bank account around 2 months after sending the document back. I called know how about it and they told me that everything is up to day and I don't have to worry a bit. Today I called knowhow to find out about the range cooker care plan and they told me that it has not been renewed since last July 2019. I was just shocked. i did do my part of sending the documents back to them the way i have been sending them and now they say to me that they haven't received anything.I asked them if the policy can be renewed, it didn't take even a second to answer my request as the policy has over lapsed nothing can be done to renew it. Plus around the renewal time i renews my TV policy as well and there was direct debit payment taken from my account so thought it might be the one. They checked it and said it's was for the TV only. I said to them i have so many policy and been renewing my policy every year why would i stop when it normally doesn't cost too much to renew. This is unfair. I contacted know how last year regarding the policy and they said its all up and and running. But now they say it hasn't been renewed since last year. My policy been up and running all this year and trusted knowhow and never checked my direct debit which i know knowhow would take the correct payment on time so that my products would be insured. They are denying and i don't have proof to tell then when and what time i called them to enquire regarding my policy when they told all of my policy are up and running. Now my product is out of care and i am just scared to us it now. Knowhow should have contacted me why i haven't renew my policy if they didn't receive my documents. If it gets lost on the post or the knowhow staff didn't bother processing my extension for the care plan then its not my problem. I am just angry with knowhow on how they treated me. I have always had problem with knowhow one way or another with regards to poor repairs done to my other products or delaying on the promised repair time and now this new problem on the list. I was planning to buy a laptop from currys with knowhow care plan but this sort of unfair behavour has put me off on taking any extended product care where they don't care about their customer. What can i do and who can help me with my issue.

Walked into showroom to order the washing machine I had researched and walked out being sold a different one... Went back the next day and sales guy persistently tried to get me to but the model he preferred! When I would g budge went on to say well when a woman needs to get what she wants!!!! Found him very patronising and at the end of the day customer is Always right And freedom of choice! Felt like I had gone back into the dark ages. If it wasn’t for using my company discount scheme I would have bought elsewhere!!!

Black Friday lies! I bought a TV and NEST mini package in the black Friday sales, special offer the NEST being for £10 with the TV. Delivered the TV but not the NEST, claiming no one was in. I tried to arrange redelivery but again it failed. No replies to my emails for several weeks so I eventually got through on the phone to arrange for me to collect from a store when they told me that it was pricing error and they would not honour the offer. Scumbags! If this is what they do to your face what goes on when you are not looking? Refused to allow me to make a complaint too.

We bought a new washing machine and paid £25 to have it installed for our new flat. This was a complete waste of money. The people who installed the washing machine clearly had no training and no idea about what they were supposed to be doing. They managed to flood the bathroom and hallway of our new property. This was because there problems with the pipes, but all they had do was simply check the pipes before connecting the machine. This was a simple problem to avoid. Now I have to spend money on getting a plumber to fix their mess. Curry's should either employ people who know what they are doing or not offer the service. I would avoid them in the future.

Worst customer service. Purchased a hob and paid €75 for professional installation. Installation crew fitting electric equipment not trained electricians just handy men. Blew the cooker isolation switch when installing hob due to installer wiring hob incorrectly. Left my home with isolation switch unable to switch off because blown. When contacted to fix refused to do so or acknowledge any wrong doing. Had to pay €100 for electrician to solve issue and make house safe. Currys refuse to acknowledge any wrong doing or refund the €75 installation. Avoid at all cost. Will never purchase from again.

Paid on line for new washing machine to be delivered and installed. On use machine went berserk trapped my finger moved my flooring an moved integrated tumble dryer. Phoned to say what had happened had to wait till Wed( installed on the Monday)for someone to inspect turned out one of the transportation bolts had not been removed!!!!! Got new machine delivered Saturday phoned recommendation only offered price of install an delivery no consideration to the fact of the inconvenience told they do not compensate for peoples time. Unacceptable two further visits no washing machine (which I require for my business) so now have to spend my days off catching up. Very very poor customer relations an care. If I could award no stars I would an most certainly will not use Currys again!!!

I bought a couple items on promotion with a free gift, and when they were received the promotion items was not included. I rung up and was told they would be issued separately next month. I chased again in a month and was told there was a delay and it would be within 10 days. I chased again after this time and now it was oh it should have come by now I'll put a request in and you will receive it within a few days. Chased again after a week, same reply again. Chased again in another week, oh it's not working is it, let's try a new request processed a different way, we'll ring you back today. Nothing. Chased again on resolver and told oh you are not eligible for the promotion, when they obviously have not read through the case reference numbers at all and there is no mention anywhere in their terms and conditions why I would not be eligible. Their service is a farce, they are happy to run promotions then not stick to them, and quite frankly lie to customers. Had the same issues with price matching - oh we don't price match them for whatever reason. I honestly don't remember the last time I wasted so much time just asking for a a shop to honour it's own advertising! I will never go near this store ever again. Any positive reviews must not have had to actually deal with customer services!
