So not only did my order not arrive, I am now being told the refund I requested wasn't processed on the date I was initially informed but it takes 72 hours to receive an email confirmation of cancellation. I have chased this confirmation as it's been over 72 hours to be told I need to wait a further 24-48 for confirmation of cancellation! Currys your are joke. You were happy to take my money for an item and next day delivery yet were unable to provide the service, and now I am having to chase my refund! I am without my item and my money. Surely this is theft?? I would strongly advise against using Currys, they are not only liars but also thieves!!!!

It is apparent Currys are indulging in a scam involving installation of appliances, especially cookers. They portray themselves as having fully qualified engineers to undertake such jobs but on the day of delivery the chaps who deliver are often not qualified and so starts the painful process of either contacting customer services to arrange another visit or asking for a refund. Avoid at all costs any installation purchases if you are brave enough to buy from this dishonest company. In fact take my advice and avoid this company altogether for the sake of your wallet and mental state. It really is not worth it.

This is the first bad review I've ever written, but it's deserved. Received a faulty laptop so I sent it to get fixed (after waiting 2 hours on hold). The freezing problem persisted so I asked for a refund (after waiting 1 hour on hold). I then purchased another top-of-the-range laptop for £1200 with the refund. Once again, it was faulty. So I asked to trade it in for a new one (after 1.5 hours on hold). I was told it would take 2 weeks before I would get the new one. I was unable to wait this long as I use the laptop for work, so I got yet another refund and bought yet another new laptop. Thankfully, this laptop is working fine, but the refund is £80 short - great! I called them up and after 45 mins of waiting on hold and told them the problem. The phone cut off so I had to call them again and wait yet another 45 mins. I tell them the refund is short and they said they'd send the £80 over. A week later I check my account to find they have refunded me just £80 for the £1200 laptop! Absolute joke. I will now have to call currys, wait on hold for God knows how long, and tell them they owe me £1120. I feel like I might have to spend the rest of my life on hold to currys. Useless.

Currys the most incompetent company ever. If you like stress with accidentally cancelled orders, lack of customer care and have money to spend on endless phone calls and time to burn then Currys is your company. Currys will give you indigestion that a rennie will not cure you have been warned.......

My review is in respect of your none existent customer services. The impossibility of speaking to anyone to gain help. A phone line which cuts you off despite taking you through umpteen select options and a social media service that does not respond. Currys is hiding behind the 'covid' situation for not providing customer services. My problem relates to a cooker i ordered for my 93 year old father who could simply not cope with your incompetence. Shameful currys.

I bought an oled tele for £1500, they cancelled the first delivery date which I paid for, changed it to a day where my partner was working so I told them it had to be there for a certain time, they was then an hour and a half late, my partner lost a client in the process costing £60. I’ve been chasing this for a month and they have agreed to pay me this, again not within the time frame they discussed with me. So once more I’ve been chasing as I’ve been told 4 different managers are going to contact me, so again I ring up, they declare it urgent, I get a call the next day discussing bacs payment of £60 will be in within 5-7 working days....... I’m on the tenth day now and there “chasing it up” so I still havnt received payment. By far the worst company for service and delivery I have ever come across in my life !!! Strongly recommend to get your digital stuff from else where because once you’ve paid your money they don’t care atall!!!!!

There is this man Trevor by name at Currys in Romford. He is very rude and insulting. I went there to change one of the product that I purchase from them he wasn't ready to help, he has insulted me 2 times before when I went in for turns. I was asking him questions about the product because I was unsure and he wasn't ready to give a clear explanation to so I had to go back the second time and his statement to me was 'here we go' and he started murmuring words without me saying anything. He has done the same thing to me about twice now on different occasions. Not sure I will visit the store in a long time.

Purchased LG 49NANO816NA TV recently from Currys during black Friday deals. Good value for money & free delivery was available at time of purchase. Great picture & sound. Central stand fits well on my current 30" TV table so have not needed to buy a larger one. There are several apps available via the free view mode but ITV catchup not available. However with having a freesat humax box connected this is not an issue. Magic remote straightforward enough & the inclusion of Google assistant & Alexa are two great features. Overall very happy with my purchase.

Horrible, Horrible, Horrible... I cannot believe I didn’t check reviews before I ordered an Apple Watch. How stupid of me, I should of done click and collect but stupidly decided to get it delivered. I’m still waiting and can’t get hold of anyone. The whole process is impossible. I want my money back and will be putting this review on everything

You're delivery service is awful! You told me you had shipped to royal mail almost a week ago. Royal mail say they've not received anything from Currys yet. Absolute joke of a service! Also the only support option seems to be waiting in an hour long queue to talk to someone on webchat who doesn't have a clue how to resolve delivery issues. Will never ever be using Currys again.

Oven delivered faulty. Terrible customer service on an all automated system that sent us in loops and dropped calls for over 5 hours. Finally managed to get the information needed for the return from the manufacturer and was told delivery will be the following week. Took the day off but no delivery. Contacted the online chat and was told we had to wait 24 hours but did not explain why.. Will never deal with this company again. They do not care about service just sales.. worst company I have ever had to deal with

ordered a laptop as a birthday present 3 weeks after it was supposed to be delivered it's still not here - an hour on hold to be told nobody can help ! best bet is to go to your bank and report it as a fraudulent sale they act much quicker !

I am very frustrated with them , very very bad service and delayed delivery, I wanted to order a laptop for my daughter, they have a problem with their website payment system, it timed out quickly and made me order same item twice. I cancelled double order withon 40 minute, which was never cancelled, called them and after 40 minute of wait spoke to them to cancel double order they said they can't it's been dispatched and mend to deliver on 4th , here I am still waiting today is 8th December, and my double payment is stuck with them for single item, which I can only claim back once both items delivered and I need to return one of it, what a joke, I would never recommend anyone to use them.

I ordred a £140 Sonos Speaker and received a kettle. There is no phone number available to speak to someone. Before being able to get through to a human being on the online chat, it takes me through an awful system that doesn't recognise what I want. I have been trying since last week to chat to someone but i'm always in a queue of 130 or so. I finally got through to someone just now after at least a 40 minute wait who said they would collect the item and then deliver the speaker, which is annoying but at least they are sorting it. As i was typing, the chat disconnected so i have to go through the whole process again to make sure they have logged it. Fuming! Do not order online if you are expecting good after sales.

Purchased oven with installation and recycling add ons which added a further £90.00 to cost. Prepared a safe working environment for installers as suggested so everything was ok. A simple gas to electric conversion with cooker switch nearby ready for wiring. Teamknowhow, the installers, pride themselves on being fully qaulified and professional and apparently have install ed more appliances than anyone else. So can they explain why on the day they turned up, they staMted they were not qualified enough to undertake the job. I was told I would have to sort it out with customer services then made a quick departure leaving oven in front room and an old broken gas oven still connected. Why should I have to waste my time and energy sorting out a problem they created. Totally shambolic and disgusting service. There has been a number of similar reviews on other sites were there has been similar occurrences. This sounds very suspicious. I have since found someone else to do the work but now have to battle to recoup the installation fees from Currys. As for their customer services a total and utter joke, beyond belief. Deliberately set up to make it near impossible to make contact with a human to sort out a problem.I gave up after 2 days and am going through the bank regarding refund. A truly repugnant and dishonest company in every conceivable way.
