Customer service appalling to an 80 year old who was buying cooker in shop. Look the person in the eye & speak to them not the carer! Oven installed & oven faulty. An hour on the phone to Aftersales at KnowHow absolutely disgusting service. Avoid at all costs. Replacement oven coming out. Logic awful.

Just bought a fridge freezer from Currys. Service from start to finish was fantastic. Sales lady at the time of purchase at Currys retail park Gateshead was incredibly helpful and informative, there was no problem at all to rearrange my delivery slot and I was constantly kept up to date via email with the progress of my order. Finally, what can I say about the delivery guys... They were amazing. Just moved into a new house so everything was in chaos but they were so friendly, efficient, professional and couldn't have been more helpful.

I went to 2884 Bexhill to purchase several items and have been appalled! • brought several items last Saturday. Stayed before I purchased that I needed a Saturday delivery slot. Carl assured me that this was not a problem on several occasions as they delivered in my area on a Saturday. So we purchased the items, however could not arrange a delivery day as one item was out of stock. • text to say items being delivered Tuesday. Called them to explain it had to be a Saturday, to be told they can not deliver to me on a Saturday. So I would need to cancel my order. After my husband comlaoned they agreed to deliver on Friday. My husband had to take today off work and drive several hundred miles to the house to receive the items as we are not there during the week. • several text during the week and a phone call yesterday confirming delivery. Text this morning to confirm delivery.... However as my husband was half way there they phone to say no delivery today as items out of stock!!!!! • offered alternative item at lesser quality for same price..... Declined • await delivery now hopefully next Sinday after being told they don't deliver to my area on weekends!!' This is a short version of the issue, and I expect to be compensated for the utter waste of my day and having to use two car to travel this distance. My receipt no is 012874 Please do not ask me to email a customer service department. You can resolve my issue here in public for totally wasting my day and show everyone how diabolical your customer service is

I spend nearly £2500 on a Sumsung 65Js8500 TV and a few weeks in it started turning off randomly all by itself. I spend the next week weeks turning off all of the ECO options, etc. but still it would go off. Spoke to Currys who said that because I had had it more than 30days it was not their problem and that I should speak to Samsung. Samsung have been even less helpful and never phone back when they say they are going too. This is getting very frustrating....Currys or Samsung NEVER again.

We purchase all our electrical appliances from currys and have been generally happy with our purchases. We thought that buying a Hotpoint dishwasher would be a good move, but have been extremely disappointed with this item. It is a HOTPOINT Aquarius FDAL11010P Full-size Dishwasher - White and we paid £199.99 from Currys. There was a problem with the delivery which meant that we were without a dishwasher for a couple of days but we didn't complain and managed fine. Sadly when the item was delivered and installed, we discovered that our dinner plates didn't fit in properly with the blade that spins around knocking the plates during the wash. The cutlery compartment is tiny and each section can only fit in a couple of items. The main wash lasts 3 hours which is ridiculous. The 1 hour wash is ok but not satisfactory as you have to rewash many items, especially the glasses which don't fit properly in the top section. Overall we are extremely disappointed with this Hotpoint item and hope our review finds its way on to the Currys site to warn others not to buy it. Total rubbish, flimsy and a waste of £200.

Apparently "We’ll unpack your product and dispose of the packaging for you." actually means we'll drop off the goods and then sneak off whilst you aren't looking leaving your appliance abandoned in the middle of the kitchen floor. Also, "Your email is important to us and we aim to get back to you as soon possible." can be roughly interpreted as we filled this email in the bin and shan't bother getting back to you!!! If you buy from Currys, you may get the cheapest price, but don't expect any backup.

Bought a cooker back in Feb. Faulty from the start. Had one visit from a repair guy last month who told us they should be able to get a part mid May. We have asked to return it a number of times. They want to fix it but after 3 months, they still haven't been able to do this. Changing a part won't fix the problem as it is due to a design flaw. You can't even get through the customer services to talk to anyone. Its infuriating and its disgraceful that they are getting away with this. Would not ever buy from Curry's again.

I received fantastic service both in store and with the delivery and installation of my cooker. In the store Jade worked hard to find one that I was happy with and could be delivered within a couple of days. Andy and Paul delivered and fitted my cooker and showed me how everything worked. They rang ahead so I knew when to expect them. They were friendly, polite and very efficient, clearing up and leaving me with a shiny new cooker I am very happy with. Thank you everyone.

Don't use this company, stay at home and pull your own teeth out with pliers you'll get more satisfaction. I'm angry that I've had to give one star they don't deserve it, their pay and collect service is a disgrace their courier service from their hub is a shambles, go anywhere else, don't buy from here.

I bought a Zanussi Cooker hood on the 10.03.16 and had it delivered after i opened the box everything look ok but couldnt see for sure as the unit was a stainless one with white protective film on it to save it from getting scratched or dented when fitting. On the 29.04/16 i had the unit fitted and when i have unwrapped the film off the unit they was a dent covered over.I have phoned Currys and Zanussi only to be told i had only 48 hours to check the unit.I tried to explain you dont take the film off until the unit is fitted but got no joy or any understanding from both companies. Customer services on both companies shocking and will never buy from currys again.

I shall never use this company again. I bought a tumble dryer which went faulty after 3 weeks. By the time I got through to customer services they said it was 4 days over the 28 day period where it could be replaced, and would have to be repaired. I was given a date for repair which was 9 days after I called them. The repairman arrived late took one look and told me the cabinet was warped and he would have to order a strut to brace the cabinet. He could not get back to repair the machine for another two weeks. By the time he returns I will not have had use of the dryer for 22 days atrocious service

The worst company i have ever dealt with.It doesn't look like they ever heard of customer service. If u have some respect for yourself and the time you spent earning your money choose somewhere else to shop! I bought a fridge and a washing machine online they delivered on the next day.The people from knowhow dragged the washing machine upstairs and without even measuring decided that the fridge will not fit in the elevator so they will not bring it up(even thought me and my bf measured everything like 5 times just to be sure that it would fit in the elevator).Well apparently knowhow guys have super powers and they can decide things like that just by having a look.....Anyways on top of that i told them to give me a minute while i call their customer service team, because i am not sure if i want the washing machine if i can not get the fridge...So while i was making the call they left without giving me any receipts or unpacking/installing the stuff....Ridiculous service....Spent 3 hours on the phone arguing with their customer service manager about this...And at the end of the conversation what i had to say was that I am not sure why do u work there?! it doesn't seem that you like customers anyway....

Terrible service dropped my mums tv out of the lorry didn't tell her she only knew because a neighbour saw them and rang her they denied it until told they had been seen . My mum rang the local store to talk to a woman who wasn't really bothered about it so i rang customer services for her only to end up talking to an obnoxious little argumentative man ...disgusting service not bothered not going to exchange it even though its been dropped ..i know i wouldn't want a dropped television ..so i think its a terrible way to deal with customers and dishonest delivery drivers ..my advice would be use another online shop instead ..currys terrible company bad customer service they only got one star because there was no option for no stars

I bought a Hotpoint washing machine from Currys, it failed within 3 weeks so I had to wait in for a repair engineer. When it failed the same way a few weeks later (still within 3 months) I asked for refund or replacement and was told an engineer would need to come out and check the fault. More time wasted waiting in. When he came I advised him I wanted a repair or replacement. He said he would out this on his report. Now they say I cannot have replacement or refund as I accepted a repair! He said at least I could use it until it was resolved. I feel really cheated and will never ever purchase from them again. They don't even have the courtesy to ring me, just emails or long wait in a phone queue. Very poor indeed!

Well purchased an AEG Induction cooker, remember my contract is with Currys not AEG, the cooker went wrong within a year went in they sorted repair company repaired went wrong again, went asked for money back (my Legal right) was told come back tomorrow and we will refund...haha..next morning met the worst employee Currys must have a man called "Dan" he said "no" he phoned AEG and expected me to speak to them....I would not...he said you can have replacement...did not want, said I would go to the County Court on the matter as I was now entitled in law to money back after one repair..he threatens to call the Police as I was threatening him...have to say it "what a prick to employ. never raised my voice, never swore, asks me to leave. I phone my solicitor from the store....guess what don,t like that. He tells me he will refund and collect cooker next day. I went to another store and purchased two cookers one for UK and one for home in France...Lost business and I am bound to tell everyone about this experience how much has "Dan" cost Currys, by the way TAUNTON store!!! Never again believe me
