I'm disappointed with Currys as bought to £699.00 in 2010. My son fell to not speakers and then hit the tv causing a crack in the screen. Currys picked it up for repairs and I was given a voucher code to get another TV. To my disappointment the code was only worth £599.99 and had to pay £249.00 extra to get a better tv

pre ordered a printer, day before collection, got a call from store saying go to different store to collect printer, when i arrived was told to go to original store. On arrival had to wait 1 hour for them to go to second store to collect printer. The worse organisation and management i have encountered. The manager and staff just shrugged there shoulders. pathetic organisation for a national company

My mum saved up for a year & brought herself a Panasonic 4K tv only for it 5 weeks later to be turning its self off, she was advised by a member of the technical team at know how to take it back to the store which it was purchased & it will be replaced with a new one! Once in the store we where treated with a rude member of staff telling us we were basically lying & that the TV shouldn't of been brought back there because it won't get replaced that it will only get sent off & repaired. We tried telling him well my mum has been told false information & for him to ring himself & check before making assumptions, which he did do & found out that what we said was true, but my mum still didn't get her TVs sorted just taken to be fixed, when it was only 5 weeks old!! Since then the TVs has been taken another two times for screen replacement! The last straw has come only for my mums tv to come back with a completely different frame & it scratched & dented & they have take the TVs again for another week! Every time they have done this to my mum not once have they offered her a loan TV for being with out TV for a week at a time, there customer service is a joke!

Bought an American fridge freezer and when they delivered it was told it would not fit through my door I need to go to store and pay £35 for them to redeliver it so they can dismantle it. Was not told that when I purchased the fridge, what a disappointment after waiting a week for item to be delivered.

Me and my partner ordered our fridge freezer 3 weeks ago with a expected delivery of 2-4 weeks. We had a call from currys to notify us that our fridge would not be in stock for another 2 months. So of course we tried to refund the product in Aintree store liverpool. As we paid with cash we expected to have cash back. However this was not the case. They have told us us that the money will return on our buisness account in credit within 5 working days. Then we can request a refund. The over all customer service today was poor and lack of communication between staff leaving us waiting in the store for 40 minutes for a crn number that doesn't excist. I never normally complain but after spending thousands in store of all our appliances I am not satisfied from our visit today.

Baught a GoPro session from Currys Romford and it had some missing parts. Called currys 3 times and they told me that I can go to any store fore a replacement as long as I have my receipt. I went to Stratford storer were I was told I have to go to Romford as only they can help me. In the end I wasted hafl of my day and couldnt get a replacement as the store closed.

Panasonic Tv broke down recently and I was advised that It would be replaced. As I paid £1500 pounds for it I was surprised to be given £599. "PRODUCT REPLACEMENT If we cannot readily and economically repair your product you will be given a voucher to obtain a replacement product in one of our stores. The value will be based on an equivalent or similar specification product up to a maximum of your original product purchase price." The above is from your site and I feel that you are misleading people here.

Went to the curry's branch in Milton Keynes today for a combination microwave. The guy who was assisting with our attempted purchase, told us he had none in stock,he could not order for us and we could not order ourselves as it was not an online order. The only advice he could offer is we drive to Bedford. Wow.. John Lewis gained the sale due to their excellent customer service, manners and communication skills.

To rate the service as a one star is to good, I went in store the Scarborough branch to enquire about Kindles. The first lady we spoke to could not answer many of our questions which is ok but did not even offer the find out for us, we had to ask her to ask another member of staff who did help with some. I tried to explain to the lady i wanted to buy films on amazon but be able to watch them when i have no wifi and if this was possible? she did not know and must have spoken to a supervisor. We went to look at the mirco sd cards when i needed to ask another question, i approached the supervisor named Chris who said in reply to my question- well you have already bothered 2 members of my staff - one of which informed me of your intentions - he then said you do know it is illegal to download films.... he was so rude and unhelpful and seen as that was deffinatly not my intention i was quite upset and left without making a purchase. Chris refused to move from his spot to help me with the Kindles and said I was looking for something that they do not sell. I have made an offcial complaint over the phone informing that i want to make a purchase but i am not happy to go back in store so they said they would come back to me within 48 hours, 6 days later i call back to hear they have sent me a 10quid voucher that can only be speant in store. when i asked to speak to a supervisor/manager the gent on the phone point blank refused. I have given up on Currys, will never shop from them again. This story has been shortened somewhat and I simply cannot explain how small they made me feel but more importantly i felt like a pure inconvienience as a customer.

Washing machine had a leak. Engineer came and misdiagnosed the problem. He said it was the detergent dispenser that was blocked. He ordered a part and another date was set. 2nd engineer came and said the problem was a hole in the seal. He made the hole much bigger and could not fit it back on properly. He also broke the detergent dispenser and damaged the pvb so that the machine could not work. Cut a long story short we now have a new machine as old one written off. Today the cooker packed in.......

Bought a Humax FVP-4000T Freeview recorder from Currys which failed after 5 months. I took it to back Currys who contacted Humax. They asked for it to be shipped back to Humax who said they would replace it. One week later, Currys said Humax had looked at it, and would replace it! Another week later I phoned again and they told me it hadn't even left their store because of the bank holiday! Calls to Currys and Humax have failed to locate my unit or give me any idea when it will be returned. I am at a loss as to what to do next? I will never buy anything from Currys again.

Quick Version - DO NOT EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM CURRYS. Without doubt, has to be the worst retail experience I have ever had I made an attempt to buy an American Fridge Freezer. I made it explicitly clear that I live in a three storey town house and therefore my kitchen is on the first floor. I was told that this was 'no problem at all', how wrong could I be. On the first delivery attempt, delivery was refused because the delivery guys were not spring chickens (as they told me), the second team also refused. Not only were the teams rude, they also pointed to dreadful disconnects between what the shops say and what actually might happen in real life. As if that wasn't bad enough, the process for obtaining a refund was cumbersome, difficult and the least customer friendly process I have ever encountered. The customer service staff do not want you to escalate anything and show a complete and utter lack of empathy. Each department comes across as disconnected from each other, their staff are nothing short of rude. The amount of time that has been required for my wife and I to sort this out cannot be underestimated. Seriously go somewhere else, I rarely if ever leave reviews but this has been so awful it has caused be to write a review. As Per my title and I apologise for shouting but DO NOT EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM CURRYS! If I could zero rate this experience, I would.

We ordered a washing machine for delivery on the Tuesday (the Wednesday was my mum's 88th birthday, so she wasn't keen to wait in for a delivery that day!). We'd paid for installation, and disposal - of the two delivery men, one spent most of his time playing with our dog, and asked if he could have a banana (not that we begrudge him a banana, it's just a bit odd), while the other one did the actual fitting. He put it on a short programme, then left before it had ended. An hour later, the machine was still full of water, which my mum eventually got to empty after studying the manual. She contacted the call centre, and after explaining several times and being asked if she wanted an engineer (no, just a machine that works and the installation we paid for), they agreed to send someone round the following day, thus ruining her birthday. Another couple of delivery men turned up, looked at the machine and said they couldn't do anything. My mum insisted she wanted a new machine, which, after some arguing with the office, they agreed to. A new delivery was booked in for the Saturday. At 7am on Saturday, another pair arrived and left at 10 past without having to unload the new machine - the original installer had left one of the bolts in the back. If the first man had done his job properly, this whole miserable hassle could have been avoided.

I get nearly all my electronics from the Currys at Castle Park in Nottingham. Most recently I had bought a camera which did not live up to my expectations at all. The staff were super helpful and went above and beyond to make sure I was happy. Special thanks to Rod who took the time to work out what my needs were and recommended a different product. I will happily go back there again

Customer service appalling to an 80 year old who was buying cooker in shop. Look the person in the eye & speak to them not the carer! Oven installed & oven faulty. An hour on the phone to Aftersales at KnowHow absolutely disgusting service. Avoid at all costs. Replacement oven coming out. Logic awful.
