knowhow isn't worth paying out for they make it very difficult to claim off the policy after paying a policy for years i've been told that after dropping my samsung tablet in a paddling pool that they consider that as neglect not an accident...so clearly losing all my photos and videos wasn't enough now i'm not even covered by a policy i set up 5 years ago...and i cant even get a number to make a complaint unbelievable !!!!

Bought a laptop from Currys. Declined their extended warranty at the time of purchase. Was nonetheless provided with "product support" and billed for it by them via my credit card. The innocent looking description on my credit card did not arouse my suspicion (it is a joint account with my wife) until she asked me what it was for (I thought it was somethings she had bought). I googled it and was horrified to discover they had been ripping me off since purchase. I naturally contacted Currys (cc3093567) and was politely but firmly told to effectively "p**s-off".....they were happy to cancel the policy but not happy to refund money for a product which had been declined, a product I was unaware I had, a product which had never been used. I have bought many items from the Currys / Dixons/ PC World / Carphone Warehouse stable over the past 20 years. My family have bought several more. This experience is being actively shared with all of them and widely amongst their acquaintances. I, for one, will never buy another item from any of these brands, and I hope my family, friends, and their colleagues behave likewise. What a rotten company this is. You should be thoroughly ashamed to be British. You make Del-boy Trotter look like a boy-scout

I have a 10 month old £ 1000 HP laptop, windows 10 was installed, it was sent to Knowhow with a minor problem. It was returned with Window 8 !!!!. When I questioned this , I was told my HP Envy only had windows 8 installed. I purchased my HP with windows 10, I have used windows10 for 10 Months so WHY ? are the people in " Don't know how" insisting I have Windows 8. I took this out on a 3 year lease because It would me repaired immediately AND I would receive laptop on loan???? When it came to the repair I was told it could take up to 14 days!!!!????? AND no laptop loan. DO not lease, Do not buy, Currys DO not Knowhow , I was informed that I only had a 30 day warranty. I am sure Trading Standards would contradict this statement

So, I purchased a wireless keyboard and was told it would be at my local store. After travelling 12 miles to the store, the cashier told me that it was actually not in stock here, but the next local store it was at was in Croydon. This is some 60 miles away... Needless to say, I wanted my money back and left. Today, I spoke with one of the technical guys online who advised me that my local store would have a certain cable I needed for my computer. When I got to the store again today, I was informed that my item wasn't here but was in Croydon. Repeat customer? Not a chance!

Installation that was specified and paid for with initial appliance order still not actually completed 5 days later! Rearranged times were booked with technicians NOT qualified to do the job. Received a standard 'too bad that's just the way it is' from all 3 of the different customer service representatives I spoke with... Who I had to call! The installation was booked twice with people not qualified to do the job and each time the date was pushed further and further back. The company boasts 700 qualified installers... I'm unsure they ever do any of them... Maybe they just push them further and further back until people give up! Nice tactic... Which is exactly what is happening... Most recent update after requesting to speak to a supervisor is to hire an external electrician because it will be faster then the company!

I'm disappointed with Currys as bought to £699.00 in 2010. My son fell to not speakers and then hit the tv causing a crack in the screen. Currys picked it up for repairs and I was given a voucher code to get another TV. To my disappointment the code was only worth £599.99 and had to pay £249.00 extra to get a better tv

pre ordered a printer, day before collection, got a call from store saying go to different store to collect printer, when i arrived was told to go to original store. On arrival had to wait 1 hour for them to go to second store to collect printer. The worse organisation and management i have encountered. The manager and staff just shrugged there shoulders. pathetic organisation for a national company

My mum saved up for a year & brought herself a Panasonic 4K tv only for it 5 weeks later to be turning its self off, she was advised by a member of the technical team at know how to take it back to the store which it was purchased & it will be replaced with a new one! Once in the store we where treated with a rude member of staff telling us we were basically lying & that the TV shouldn't of been brought back there because it won't get replaced that it will only get sent off & repaired. We tried telling him well my mum has been told false information & for him to ring himself & check before making assumptions, which he did do & found out that what we said was true, but my mum still didn't get her TVs sorted just taken to be fixed, when it was only 5 weeks old!! Since then the TVs has been taken another two times for screen replacement! The last straw has come only for my mums tv to come back with a completely different frame & it scratched & dented & they have take the TVs again for another week! Every time they have done this to my mum not once have they offered her a loan TV for being with out TV for a week at a time, there customer service is a joke!

Bought an American fridge freezer and when they delivered it was told it would not fit through my door I need to go to store and pay £35 for them to redeliver it so they can dismantle it. Was not told that when I purchased the fridge, what a disappointment after waiting a week for item to be delivered.

Me and my partner ordered our fridge freezer 3 weeks ago with a expected delivery of 2-4 weeks. We had a call from currys to notify us that our fridge would not be in stock for another 2 months. So of course we tried to refund the product in Aintree store liverpool. As we paid with cash we expected to have cash back. However this was not the case. They have told us us that the money will return on our buisness account in credit within 5 working days. Then we can request a refund. The over all customer service today was poor and lack of communication between staff leaving us waiting in the store for 40 minutes for a crn number that doesn't excist. I never normally complain but after spending thousands in store of all our appliances I am not satisfied from our visit today.

Baught a GoPro session from Currys Romford and it had some missing parts. Called currys 3 times and they told me that I can go to any store fore a replacement as long as I have my receipt. I went to Stratford storer were I was told I have to go to Romford as only they can help me. In the end I wasted hafl of my day and couldnt get a replacement as the store closed.

Panasonic Tv broke down recently and I was advised that It would be replaced. As I paid £1500 pounds for it I was surprised to be given £599. "PRODUCT REPLACEMENT If we cannot readily and economically repair your product you will be given a voucher to obtain a replacement product in one of our stores. The value will be based on an equivalent or similar specification product up to a maximum of your original product purchase price." The above is from your site and I feel that you are misleading people here.
