I was in the Alperton branch Curry's today because I had purchased a fridge fridge freezer previously which was malfunctioning....during my visit I had the pleasure in meeting Parvin, Terence and shiva who were extremely helpful....they were courteous and polite and went above and beyond to assist with my query....Many thanks again gentlemen!!!

Customer care plan was so far below zero it's laughable. Please think on anyone who might want to purchase anything from currys. There are other more reliable options. I'll never use them again. Absolutely terrible

Washing machine not working waited 3 days then engineer told me he'd been given wrong info from the people I phoned and couldn't fix for another 5 days. Absolutely shocking for a family of 6 and no way to wash our clother. The engineer didn't give a toss and neither did Knowhow when I rang to complain. Was told the while insides needs replacing. I asked for a new one. Can't do is what they all said. Wish I'd never bothered taking out this extra so called insurance. Never again !!!

ordered an expensive Smeg gas hob, on line, that was delivered damaged and I mean damaged. OK these things happen. what happened next was diabolical. having spent over 3 hours on the phone over two week trying to get a replacement I finally gave up, cancelled my order and went else where, which I strongly recommend anyone else does. I was fobbed off, promised return calls, that never happened, and the final straw was the lies. I was even refused access to speak to a senior member of staff to deal with my complaint/issue. Never again will I order from Curries. I find out yesterday, that my uncle had a similar issue a couple of months ago, so not an isolated incident. Unless you can go in store touch it, examine it and take it away, don't bother. Life is to short

Purchased a Logik soundbar and wifi subwoofer just over 12 months ago. Hadn't realised Logik is Currys own brand cheap crap, will never buy a Logik branded product again. SOudbar just our of warranty and has simply stopped working altogether. I am extremely disappointed and it has put me off using Currys in future.

Purchased a freezer and booked a delivery date. However, nothing arrived. No response from Customer services. I even had a text saying the thing would be delivered on the due day but it wasn't. Then the next day the delivery arrived. The driver said he had no record of delivery the day before. This was on a day their website said no delivery was possible. Good job we were in. Customer services replied after the delivery to say that there was no problem. Looking at the reviews on here it seems we have been let off lightly.

The Curry's purchasing service was easy online, delivery was 1 day which was fantastic given I needed a new fridge. Until it came to the knowhow delivery / installation people - totally let Curry's down and now would never use again. Totally rude, very late, and certainly not qualified to be installing electrical equipment. The first sign of a problem with the electric socket where the integrated fridge was to go they bailed out saying it unless it was fixed socket for them to plug straight into they couldn't do it (if that was the case I wouldn't have paid for an installation, putting a plug in a socket I can do myself! Now paying an electrician to come and install my fridge. Also had to cut the electrical cord myself in order for them to take the old fridge away to be recycled - total waste of a day! Certainly wouldn't recommend knowhow (or knowclue) to anyone....

knowhow isn't worth paying out for they make it very difficult to claim off the policy after paying a policy for years i've been told that after dropping my samsung tablet in a paddling pool that they consider that as neglect not an accident...so clearly losing all my photos and videos wasn't enough now i'm not even covered by a policy i set up 5 years ago...and i cant even get a number to make a complaint unbelievable !!!!

Bought a laptop from Currys. Declined their extended warranty at the time of purchase. Was nonetheless provided with "product support" and billed for it by them via my credit card. The innocent looking description on my credit card did not arouse my suspicion (it is a joint account with my wife) until she asked me what it was for (I thought it was somethings she had bought). I googled it and was horrified to discover they had been ripping me off since purchase. I naturally contacted Currys (cc3093567) and was politely but firmly told to effectively "p**s-off".....they were happy to cancel the policy but not happy to refund money for a product which had been declined, a product I was unaware I had, a product which had never been used. I have bought many items from the Currys / Dixons/ PC World / Carphone Warehouse stable over the past 20 years. My family have bought several more. This experience is being actively shared with all of them and widely amongst their acquaintances. I, for one, will never buy another item from any of these brands, and I hope my family, friends, and their colleagues behave likewise. What a rotten company this is. You should be thoroughly ashamed to be British. You make Del-boy Trotter look like a boy-scout

I have a 10 month old £ 1000 HP laptop, windows 10 was installed, it was sent to Knowhow with a minor problem. It was returned with Window 8 !!!!. When I questioned this , I was told my HP Envy only had windows 8 installed. I purchased my HP with windows 10, I have used windows10 for 10 Months so WHY ? are the people in " Don't know how" insisting I have Windows 8. I took this out on a 3 year lease because It would me repaired immediately AND I would receive laptop on loan???? When it came to the repair I was told it could take up to 14 days!!!!????? AND no laptop loan. DO not lease, Do not buy, Currys DO not Knowhow , I was informed that I only had a 30 day warranty. I am sure Trading Standards would contradict this statement

So, I purchased a wireless keyboard and was told it would be at my local store. After travelling 12 miles to the store, the cashier told me that it was actually not in stock here, but the next local store it was at was in Croydon. This is some 60 miles away... Needless to say, I wanted my money back and left. Today, I spoke with one of the technical guys online who advised me that my local store would have a certain cable I needed for my computer. When I got to the store again today, I was informed that my item wasn't here but was in Croydon. Repeat customer? Not a chance!

Installation that was specified and paid for with initial appliance order still not actually completed 5 days later! Rearranged times were booked with technicians NOT qualified to do the job. Received a standard 'too bad that's just the way it is' from all 3 of the different customer service representatives I spoke with... Who I had to call! The installation was booked twice with people not qualified to do the job and each time the date was pushed further and further back. The company boasts 700 qualified installers... I'm unsure they ever do any of them... Maybe they just push them further and further back until people give up! Nice tactic... Which is exactly what is happening... Most recent update after requesting to speak to a supervisor is to hire an external electrician because it will be faster then the company!
