Easy web site and reonable prices. Very good customer service when I need to return an item I ordered online. They sent courier to pick up the item next day and they refund me within a couple of days.

ordered freezer online -no problem. Organised delivery -again no problem. Was contacted by delivery team - brilliant. Trouble was that when I unwrapped it what I found was a fridge. Contacted helpline -no possibility of rectifying issue that day. Exchange/collection organised for next day -got confirmation email. Was contacted to tell me that the driver was arriving shortly to collect fridge BUT no freezer to deliver. Helpline contacted who apologised for their mistake but would have to be another day. The helpline staff were as helpful that the system would allow but were powerless to act other than follow protocols. This meant yet another day lost. Decided to cut our losses and cancelled the order. Having to explain to 3 different people the same thing was both tedious and time consuming. Was promised a phone call to confirm collection and email to confirm refund - as yet nothing. Had to call again to explain and get collection organised. Operator couldn't access notes of previous conversations so frustrated again. Seemed to have lost 2 days of my life!

Are Currys holding on to and delaying customer refunds. In my case they seam to me to be doing just this. I bought an item online and Currys agreed to collect it as it wasnt as described and didnt fit my needs. It to 8 days to get the collection and I was told that I would get a refund within 3-5 days. Unfortunately that didnt happen so, I tried to complain: - I tried to raise a PayPal claim but the email supplied to contact Currys on the PayPal site doesnt exist so email returned. - so I phoned Currys to complain, as soon as the customer services person takes my order number she tells me I have an immediate email agreeing to make a refund, but this is over 20 days since I purchased, and 11 days after Currys picked up the item. - So dont delay in making that complaint because Currys may not do anything about your refund until you complain like me. Personally I think this is - at the least just bad customer service - at worst maybe Currys are trying to increase their cash flow by holding on to customers money. poor show Currys

Disgusted with Curry's and once they have delivered a working washer/dryer (don't even get me started!) I will never use this company again. They do not do what they say they will do and don't bother to answer emails to the "Customer Care" Team or return promised calls. Delivery men are just that. Don't even bother paying the £25 to have it connected. Waste of money. Having to wait in on a weekday for a 3rd time now. Three wasted days :( SO stressed!!

Booked and paid for sat delivery had email confirmation for sat delivery and was told to contact them with time slot. Called them after waiting in for the morning myself and my partner took the day off work! Ordered a dishwasher and cooker. Only to be told that delivery was for Monday! I paid the extra for the sat as I had no cooker! They couldn't do anything for me except refund the delivery charge! Whoopy do! They never contacted me about delivery change, guy on the phone said it was because the had overbooked themselves! Well guess what that's not my problem! Delivery paid for sat I should receive on the sat! I've now got to go all weekend with no cooker so that's going to be very bleeping helpfull!!!! Would never vmever recommend this company, all the reviews are bad I should have just listened and gone elsewhere! Do not use them! When I requested to speak to a manager on both phone calls they told me that the manager was looking after all the staff and couldn't get to the phone to help me! Seriously!

At Christchurch store purchased TV for bedroom, with help of Curry staff member and also purchased wall bracket. Husband paid by card but as hard of hearing did not realise that overcharged by about £90. Tried phoning Currys from home, almost impossible to get through to real, live person. Finally told that they could neither give us the Christchurch phone number nor tel. them themselves! In despair we abandoned evening meal and drove again to Christchurch (25-mile round trip) and found that the TV handed to us was a different model to one we had chosen, hence greatly increased price. We had not opened the box. We finally accepted reduction in price of the TV sold to us, but we so nearly told Currys to just refund our money. Presuming it was an unfortunate error, we just hope that this TV is OK when we fit it tomorrow. We are elderly, unwell and partially disabled, so driving all those extra miles, plus frustrating hour trying to tel. Currys, has been a bad experience. I doubt if we'll ever shop there again. Looking at other reviews online, I am surprised that this company still exists. Why haven't the Company Directors, etc. have sorted out their poor customer service long ago? It must put a lot of strain on their unfortunate employees who are frequently faced with frustrated customers trying to sort out a problem.

Don't even want to give 1 star shocking service took order knowing they had no stock but didn't tell us. Took my children's money and 8 days cannot give a definite date for delivery. Customer services do not log your calls or complaints so when you call again they say no record of complaint

I ordered a dishwasher from Curry's and was expecting delivery today as was stated on the order! Disapointed to find that it isn't even in stock but they were quick enough to take my money! A courteous phone call or email to let me know would't have been much to ask for!

worst customer service. I am pregnant and ordered A washing machine for next day delivery. I received confirmation on the day that my washing machine will arrive from 7:45-8:45 so I work up extra early to make sure I did not miss the delivery. Then at 9 am have I received a call that the washing machine was SOLD OUT and they did not know when it will arrive. I was in complete shock!! and said to the worker on the phone why was I not informed of this right away? his reply was I did not know, NO apology nothing. I Would NEVER order from Currys again. The worst customer service for such a big company.

Exceptionally frustrating experience. Ordered bluetooth speaker online on the Sunday. Received confirmation of order. Even received email saying preparing for dispatch on Monday. Only to get email 2 days later saying no stock and the stock would not be replenished. Apparently there is some clause in their terms and conditions saying this is okay though. Refund processed 8 days later. When I looked online it showed stock in store up north. I asked if they would transfer the stock to my local store and I would collect. Nope can't do that. Phoned to explain what i thought was reasonable request only to get the terms and conditions thrown back at me several times. Well thanks Lance @currys but customer services usually means listening. Not giving same response. If you want to buy from currys use the stores as the website is untrust worthy. Thanks for reading hope it helps.

Do not buy from Currys!. When my TV broke they took it away to repair as I had taken out the extended warranty. I got told it would be back on a certain day, had the time off work waiting and it did not turn up!. I rang them to see where my tv was and they don't know what they are doing 1 person tells you your TV is still being repaired the other says your getting a new 1 then you ring customer service no help whatsoever then they tell you it's a exchange tv not new!. The Knowhow insurance you buy is bullsh**will not buy anything again off these! Still without my TV 7 days later!!!!!

READ THIS BEFORE YOU EVEN THINK ABOUT BUYING AND INSURING YOUR SHINY NEW APPLIANCE OR EQUIPMENT FROM CURRYS/PC WORLD. Insurance through KnowHow which supposedly gives peace of mind should reassure you that it is fully covered for failure. But what about damage to your property caused by the technician who comes to repair it? On 6th July 17, a technician came to my home to repair our dishwasher which was covered by a policy provided through KnowHow. In pulling the dishwasher out, he ripped the edge off our kitchen worktop, which although about 10years old was in pristine condition as we take pride in our kitchen. Naturally I had some concern about lodging a claim through our own building policy as this was bound to lead to a higher premium at renewal. However, KnowHow said that they could make good the damage. They asked us to get some quotes which we duly did. They then disregarded the quotes and informed us that they believed that the Surface of the worktop could be repaired and they provided a limited list of such companies who could treat the Surface. The first one we approached wouldn’t even contemplate a repair. The repairer who did attend has had 2 attempts to produce a repair but the repair was still visible and the damage on the underside of the worktop wasn’t even addressed. Since our worktop suffered this damage we have had frequent email exchanges with KnowHow who have indicated vague promises and indemnities none of which look likely to be honoured. Today we have found that the heat from the dishwasher has caused the area around the the repair to bubble so the dishwasher door now catches and the edge of the worktop is breaking away. Probably not too surprising has it has taken weeks to bring about the repair and the damage surface was open to damp. We have now had 3 months of stress caused by KnowHows negligence and there is still no sign of it ending. We have had no formal apology for the damage except from the technician. THINK TWICE BEFORE TAKING OUT COVER WITH KNOWHOW AND IF YOU HAVE IT, SUPERVISE ANY REPAIR CAREFULLY AS YOU MAY NOT BE PROPERLY COMPENSATED FOR ANY DAMAGE KNOWHOW DO TO YOU HOME. Nigel Wilcox
