I purchased a Kenwood CK404 FS 90CM range cooker from currys pc world back on 27/08/2012 with 5 years extended warranty. And have been renewing my policy every year. I have got around 9 products on knowhow care plan, which i had them for years and been renewing on time. I was just going through my contracts as i knew that some of my products were due for its first care plan renewal and noticed that I have been missing paper work for the range cooker. Looked every where and can't seem to fine anything. I definitely sent the renewal document back to knowhow on their prepaid envelops. I vaguely remember last year after sending the renewal document back i had a problem with most of my direct debits with my bank account around 2 months after sending the document back. I called know how about it and they told me that everything is up to day and I don't have to worry a bit. Today I called knowhow to find out about the range cooker care plan and they told me that it has not been renewed since last July 2019. I was just shocked. i did do my part of sending the documents back to them the way i have been sending them and now they say to me that they haven't received anything.I asked them if the policy can be renewed, it didn't take even a second to answer my request as the policy has over lapsed nothing can be done to renew it. Plus around the renewal time i renews my TV policy as well and there was direct debit payment taken from my account so thought it might be the one. They checked it and said it's was for the TV only. I said to them i have so many policy and been renewing my policy every year why would i stop when it normally doesn't cost too much to renew. This is unfair. I contacted know how last year regarding the policy and they said its all up and and running. But now they say it hasn't been renewed since last year. My policy been up and running all this year and trusted knowhow and never checked my direct debit which i know knowhow would take the correct payment on time so that my products would be insured. They are denying and i don't have proof to tell then when and what time i called them to enquire regarding my policy when they told all of my policy are up and running. Now my product is out of care and i am just scared to us it now. Knowhow should have contacted me why i haven't renew my policy if they didn't receive my documents. If it gets lost on the post or the knowhow staff didn't bother processing my extension for the care plan then its not my problem. I am just angry with knowhow on how they treated me. I have always had problem with knowhow one way or another with regards to poor repairs done to my other products or delaying on the promised repair time and now this new problem on the list. I was planning to buy a laptop from currys with knowhow care plan but this sort of unfair behavour has put me off on taking any extended product care where they don't care about their customer. What can i do and who can help me with my issue.

Walked into showroom to order the washing machine I had researched and walked out being sold a different one... Went back the next day and sales guy persistently tried to get me to but the model he preferred! When I would g budge went on to say well when a woman needs to get what she wants!!!! Found him very patronising and at the end of the day customer is Always right And freedom of choice! Felt like I had gone back into the dark ages. If it wasn’t for using my company discount scheme I would have bought elsewhere!!!

Black Friday lies! I bought a TV and NEST mini package in the black Friday sales, special offer the NEST being for £10 with the TV. Delivered the TV but not the NEST, claiming no one was in. I tried to arrange redelivery but again it failed. No replies to my emails for several weeks so I eventually got through on the phone to arrange for me to collect from a store when they told me that it was pricing error and they would not honour the offer. Scumbags! If this is what they do to your face what goes on when you are not looking? Refused to allow me to make a complaint too.

We bought a new washing machine and paid £25 to have it installed for our new flat. This was a complete waste of money. The people who installed the washing machine clearly had no training and no idea about what they were supposed to be doing. They managed to flood the bathroom and hallway of our new property. This was because there problems with the pipes, but all they had do was simply check the pipes before connecting the machine. This was a simple problem to avoid. Now I have to spend money on getting a plumber to fix their mess. Curry's should either employ people who know what they are doing or not offer the service. I would avoid them in the future.

Worst customer service. Purchased a hob and paid €75 for professional installation. Installation crew fitting electric equipment not trained electricians just handy men. Blew the cooker isolation switch when installing hob due to installer wiring hob incorrectly. Left my home with isolation switch unable to switch off because blown. When contacted to fix refused to do so or acknowledge any wrong doing. Had to pay €100 for electrician to solve issue and make house safe. Currys refuse to acknowledge any wrong doing or refund the €75 installation. Avoid at all cost. Will never purchase from again.

Paid on line for new washing machine to be delivered and installed. On use machine went berserk trapped my finger moved my flooring an moved integrated tumble dryer. Phoned to say what had happened had to wait till Wed( installed on the Monday)for someone to inspect turned out one of the transportation bolts had not been removed!!!!! Got new machine delivered Saturday phoned recommendation only offered price of install an delivery no consideration to the fact of the inconvenience told they do not compensate for peoples time. Unacceptable two further visits no washing machine (which I require for my business) so now have to spend my days off catching up. Very very poor customer relations an care. If I could award no stars I would an most certainly will not use Currys again!!!

I bought a couple items on promotion with a free gift, and when they were received the promotion items was not included. I rung up and was told they would be issued separately next month. I chased again in a month and was told there was a delay and it would be within 10 days. I chased again after this time and now it was oh it should have come by now I'll put a request in and you will receive it within a few days. Chased again after a week, same reply again. Chased again in another week, oh it's not working is it, let's try a new request processed a different way, we'll ring you back today. Nothing. Chased again on resolver and told oh you are not eligible for the promotion, when they obviously have not read through the case reference numbers at all and there is no mention anywhere in their terms and conditions why I would not be eligible. Their service is a farce, they are happy to run promotions then not stick to them, and quite frankly lie to customers. Had the same issues with price matching - oh we don't price match them for whatever reason. I honestly don't remember the last time I wasted so much time just asking for a a shop to honour it's own advertising! I will never go near this store ever again. Any positive reviews must not have had to actually deal with customer services!

Bought a computer that never worked. They took it back to repair and it came back working but jumping all over the place. They keep agreeing to do something and pulling out. They play with you.

I would give zero stars if the system would let me!!! I bought an item that I could have bought cheaper in 2 places but believing their motto "you can't buy cheaper" I bought from in-store. My bad of course as I should a). not be that trusting and b). have done my research before buying. Anyway, as I couldn't make it back to the store within 7 days decided to email customer services (within the 7 days) with a very simple request, i.e. I saw exact said item £20 cheaper in 2 stores (1 of which you actually said on your website was cheaper). Could you please provide a confirmation slip so that when I do go to the store I can claim the price difference back. Then the excuses started....can't find the purchase details or I can't investigate because of GDPR; your purchase was in-store not online so we can't do anything and you need to go to the store, etc. After approx 15 emails (equating to nearly a month time lapse) I've finally given up when they asked for the details yet again.... I really have got better things to do with my life then reply with the same information. I would seriously advise buying the item from elsewhere!!! Historically, I've always used Currys for the purchase of electrical items as they were always good on price. But never again...bitterly disappointed with their Customer Services and not surprised one bit in their very low rating on Trustpilot!!! Such a simple request to prove and make good but totally failed!!! This has really upset me and I'm the type of person that rarely writes reviews but, when I do, they are normally positive. Well done CurrysPCworld ....BUT for the wrong reasons :-(

Bought a 65” tv from Currys after having the set for less than 12 month it was returned due to a fault with the screen, it was returned then the same fault came back at 16 month, the tv was damaged in transit the first time which I have just found out and they never replaced the screen the first time (so they say) no joy off them for a repair. Would avoid this company totally.

DREADFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE !No promised e mail to inform me when to call and collect instore purchase of laptop, an in effective auto system that pushes you from pillar to post and then can,t even assist with an general enquiry, return to the store to find product couldn,t be located and charger missing, asked to return to store 30 minutes later as no staff available to assist with services already purchased and when I eventually got some assistance member of staff was also trying to assist another member of staff and customer with a problem !Will never set foot in another Currys ....utter chaotic company with little or no reguard for their customers.

My mother bought a new TV from the Caerphilly store, wasn't in stock, so was told it would be delivered in 3 to 5 days & the receipt would be sent by email. Got home, no email, the lad in store took it down wrong apparently, then found out he had also taken the telephone number down incorrectly too, she hasn't got a receipt either, now my mother can't find out when she will receive her new TV, the carrier doesn't know her phone number, also they want her to ring back next week to confirm what day the carrier will deliver. Just can't get the staff these days. Very poor unsatisfactory service.

Defect tumble dryer delivered, spent hours on the phone answering questions to automated system, waiting in line, being passed from person to person again and again, being chucked out, starting over again. Engineer booked, never turned up, same all over again. Never ever buy at Curry's, worst customer service I have ever experienced in my entire life!

Worst experience ever buying an appliance. Tumble dryer delivered and immediately faulty. Trying to ring helpline, automated system with endless questions chucks you out at the end! Called again giving different incorrect answers to automated system to try and speak to somebody, after over 1/2 hour of answering to the automated system and waiting in line speaking to somebody, who takes ALL my details, then transfers me, again I wait in line to then be asked exactly the same questions. An engineer visit gets arranged, I wait in all day, nobody turns up. I again ring helpline go through the same problems and waiting time, then speak to somebody, who immediately transfers me to Hoover, who have nothing to do with it and can’t help me. Again go through helpline with all the wait to get transferred again, this time to right person, who rearranges engineer visit. The line gets charged at 5p per minute and I must have spent at least 2 hours of my very valuable time on it! Let’s see, if engineer will turn up this time round. I will never ever buy anything with Curry’s again!

1st delivery of washing machine the Currys Team KnowHow did not know how to set the washing machine up and advised I needed a plumber. 2nd delivery the Currys Team Knowhow staff arrived but told me the washing machine had not been packed in their van. They also said it was broken. Helpline useless and supervisors are uncontactable as they hide behind their front line staff. Depot meant to call me back and did not. Helpline cannot call customers back . Now looking at John Lewis instead.

I went into Curry's PC World in Central Milton Keynes on a quiet Monday lunchtime last week, 13th January, with the intention of spending a considerable amount of money, approximately £1,000, on a brand new laptop. There seemed to be plenty of staff loitering about, far more than customers. I spent over half an hour browsing around at various laptops whilst nearby there remained clusters of staff in groups of three totally ignoring me, seeming more interested in talking about their private lives and what they had been getting up to. The fact that a potential customer was virtually next to them requiring possible assistance seemed irrelevant. Literally paid to do nothing it seemed. I deliberately decided to see just how long it would take anyone to actually start doing their job but alas I was ignored the entire time, despite spending considerable time viewing in the laptops area. I also noticed other customers being ignored completely too. I was quite shocked by such a low level of competence from staff at this branch. Infact if I had engaged with any of these staff I suspect it would have proved a waste of time anyway. None looked like they probably had a clue about anything in any knowledgeable depth and I could probably have told them more about the products having done a bit of prior research. I walked out of the store in disgust at the non existent service and the diabolical couldn't care less attitude that this store gave out. A potential £1,000 sale lost that day and I'm unlikely to use the website either and will go elsewhere rather than reward such a company as this. Keep antagonising customers like me with serious money to spend and you'll soon be out of business like so many others. Buck your ideas up Curry's PC World and sort your customer relations out rapidly! Later I went to the Apple Store nearby and the contrast was as big as you could get. Approached as I entered and spoken to politely and with knowledge by a lovely woman who had enthusiasm to show me heaps of interesting things. I left having spent £300. If they can do it so can you Curry's PC World, so change your company culture and wise up.

Appalling customer service. Ordered and paid for a washing machine with fitting. The guy turned up and didn’t fit it. Was huffed and puffed at down the phone before even giving the order number. Then argued with about the details. Refused to be put through to a manager, refused to be given a name. Worst service I’ve ever had from a company!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!
